  1. Good looking cars, nice color combinations as well. I have often wondered though what exactly is the purpose of doing this do an otherwise great vehicle. Regardless you have done a good job of capturing that stanced look.
  2. Woo Hoo I will buy it for that much, thanks, heading to Target now. Update: So I picked this up on sale $15.99 still not a very good value but what the hey. The box art on the back cracked me up though, it looks like the vendor gets drunk and passes out, only to awake happily sometime later only to find the dog has ransacked the whole stand.
  3. I store all my bricks in a shallow baking pan filled with corn syrup on a sunny window sill.
  4. Okay a bit cheesy but I enjoyed it. Thanks for that.
  5. That sounds quite sadistic, you should seek the help of a good therapist.
  6. I am really interested to see what exactly Sky Police theme is going to entail, cops that police all things airborne or cops that get around exclusively in flying vehicles or more likely cops with different style uniforms with a couple of helicopters and a few ground based vehicles. I personally can do without leaks but I will certainly check them out if they are out there but honestly this statement just doesn't make any sense to me at all. Buy less LEGO because there aren't any leaks, seriously.
  7. I was speculating these same ideas on the first page and the Space Shuttle on a 747 is what I would most like to see I actually figured it would probably end up being a van/bus like vehicle like you would see at the airport, you know a shuttle transport. I do sure hope it is a Space Shuttle Transport though, fingers crossed.
  8. Ha love it, well done scissor mechanism. Of course the real one has a lock out so you can't drive it when extended and a dead man foot pedal by the controller but who cares this is great.
  9. No offense but I guess I will have to take your word for it, since about the only thing I can tell from that picture is you used a lot of different colored bricks.
  10. Looks very good, I think it should have tandem axles though at the very least dualies, anyway this turned out well, especially like the lift gate. I realize it is a C model so parts are a limiting factor but I also would like to see a slightly larger box.
  11. It does have a certain coolness factor for sure and I would love to see someone develop an A.I. sorting process. Also I get how monotonous sorting can be and overwhelming if you slack off for a while. Although I don't buy huge bulk lots, if I did and I really didn't want to be bothered with sorting, I would farm it out to some local kids and pay them in LEGO.
  12. @Paknaloid turned out pretty good, I really need some chrome rims. The only thing I guess I don't really care for is that bull bar, seems a tad oversized to me, not sure how it could be better though. Really like the trailer as well, did you use mostly parts that came with the set? Couldn't help but notice the logo on the pipes, do you live in the Indianapolis area. Anyway looks like you had fun with this mod, good job.
  13. I like this, think you did a great job on it as well. So many little interesting things to see, I like the mop and the toothpaste tube and of course all the other stuff too. Pretty cool the mirror trick as well.
  14. Do you believe the Technic line would benefit from this arrangement as well, I noticed you totally neglected to mention it, do you not consider it to be LEGO?
  15. Very well done, not exactly my cup of tea but I can certainly appreciate the effort and final great looks of this build.
  16. Absolutely work on many simultaneously, I often get bored or stuck on one moc and then work on another. Consequently I often have a vehicle of some sort, an aircraft, spaceship and a building or scene going on at any one time. I want this to be fun and not seem like a job, so I pick up whatever tickles my fancy on any given day. Surprisingly I currently only have 3 going on right now, a technic crawler, a system brick 4 prop cargo plane and some random modular style building. I actually need to tear down some built sets as usual. Edit; also fiddle with many POC small builds almost daily.
  17. I think it does look much better, a little too tall now but a lot better. Good job.
  18. This model, honestly doesn't look very good at all. The whole front is just a mess, front wheels too far back nose too long and just a mish mash of shapes. The side and rear fender almost work but not really. I really think it needs a major overhaul but is a good start, don't be discouraged just work on it a bit more.
  19. Great little scene, certainly a lot going on here. Very well done, my favorite is the tunnel boring machine coming up through the street, have always loved those things. The only thing I think could be better is the raccoon, I really didn't recognize it as such until I read about it. Really such a minor thing though, great build regardless.
  20. I do think this is a cool project, but the whole thing just looks like it is about to fall apart, it looks like the bricks aren't clicked together all the way or something weird is going on are they not aligned correctly? Are they 100% LEGO? Something just isn't right.
  21. Bet the little buggers will love it, loads of fun for them. The only problem I can see is it might be a bear to clean. Anyway looks good and they have plenty of sticks and cardboard to chew up. The electronics are over the top and was probably not so easy to integrate so the rodents won't chew through.
  22. Damn you talked me into building it now, not sure why I haven't already. This was my second Technic set and I just really didn't think the B model was worth the effort. Thanks for the motivation.
  23. I think that it is pretty cool and it has been keep very simple as well, would love to see more. Sorry to hear it's your last one, I could imagine they would improve with each successive implementation.
  24. Good to know, thanks, of course it only makes sense to have one. I did not know that. Absolutely would be the correct way of a dual pump setup. Glad to see I'm not the only one to do it like that, just wasn't sure about the check valve thing. Again thanks.
  25. That was my thinking as well, that is why I asked if it worked okay. Seems like you need some kind of check valve or something or maybe one pump going to one set of LAs and the other pump going to another system. Guess I should do some experiments. I do like the idea of multiple pumps though, it just seems like one is so slow.
