  1. Nice creation, looks like it was a fun build and good use of dinosaurs. I just don't understand why any fool would pay to see them when you can see them quite well from the sidewalk outside. Anyway nice moc and I am jealous of all those curved trans clear panels you have.
  2. So I called the local authorities and reported the guy that told me where to view leaked minifigs and they told me they could care less and actually were quite rude towards me.
  3. Looks really good, some excellent vehicles just curious though, what is holding those quarter round pieces onto the fenders, on the Land Rover? I also like the way the blue car has been smashed by the Track Hoe, which I would enjoy replicating as well. Do those tracks actually work?
  4. That was my thought as well but I just couldn't come up with anything that made sense, maybe a school?
  5. Yeah that is where I first saw this list and as much as I would like for it to be true it really does appear to be fake.
  6. I suppose it's possible they weren't perfect to begin with, I often notice shading differences with certain colors, in the same set. Most notably the green Porchse and the red white and blue bi-plane this year.
  7. Heh me too, I do tend to buy the smaller to mid-sized sets, mostly due to space restrictions. I have found though by trying to stick to a budget, I am more patient with what I buy and really do some serious bargain hunting. Yet I still always go over budget. Also find myself repurposing containers for storage instead of buying.
  8. Strange the blue Camaro is obviously meant to be a NASCAR vehicle and looks quite similar to last year's #5 that was retired this year. I wonder if that was so they didn't have to obtain a license from NASCAR.
  9. So has anyone seen the new Creator Expert car yet the Ford Mustang. I have been scouring the forum for information and haven't seen anything yet. I am really anxious to find out details like color and functions, older or newer model, race car or street car? Hopefully it is a great set, I know many don't really care for American made cars but I like them and I am looking forward to seeing it. Starting to think I fell for a fake list, damn it.
  10. I hope that it is printed and probably is but as I also said before they have put stickers on such small parts before. Most recently the rally car from last year has several on 1x1 cheese slopes and 1x2 slope modified (cut corner).
  11. I would very much like to see what you come up with, as I am not real familiar with the game I would be hard pressed to suggest a specific ship. Also think it would be better received if you posted them in the LEGO sci-fi sub forum.
  12. Not a big deal at all and it was a valid point. I am actually looking forward to seeing it in person, I have a feeling it won't seem so messy and in reality appear to be a fair representation of the actual car.
  13. Me too, only I had to use rocks.
  14. Sorry for the misunderstanding, I was talking about it being a mess LEGO wise not race car wise. I guess if you squint your eyes just right while consuming alcohol, it does bare a resemblance to that picture. As I also said it is hard to visualize a 3D environment from just a picture. I feel like you quoted me out of context, missing my whole point.
  15. I have to agree @Aanchir Firstbourne is a very good set, I thoroughly enjoyed building it, the head is a masterpiece in my opinion and the other aspects you mentioned ring true. This coming from a person who isn't really into dragons, I have only one other, the green one I bought mostly for the color selection.
  16. Funny you should mention this as a group I am associated with, regularly meets in church, even though there is no religion involved, I had indeed forgotten this aspect of churchs. They are more than glad to rent out meeting rooms, to pretty much anyone, at least around here, providing they follow the rules. This would be an excellent aspect to include in a church moc, my opinion anyway.
  17. It looks like you are off to a good start, looking forward to seeing how it turns out. Something I have been wanting to do myself as I have bought most of the Speed Champions sets, so I have ended up with a lot of bits and pieces that would be perfect for a garage moc. @neonic that is indeed a Camaro, it appears to be the one from 75874 Camaro Drag Race set.
  18. Seems like that's how it's been lately, kind of a bummer, buying sets before reviewers are even able to publish their reviews. Regardless I still enjoy reading the quality reviews you publish, thank you for that.
  19. I will be the first to admit the cockpit of the Porchse does appear to be abit of a mess. In all fairness though it is hard to realize a 3D environment with a single photograph, that and it is Technic on a rather small scale. Not trying to defend the finished product but how many would have complained if they had made a highly detailed cockpit using system bricks and stickers.
  20. If you two want to play games you should take it to PM. It's not funny and you guys are starting to repeat yourselves. Since apparently others have seen the Dodge set, I have not yet, what color is the Charger R/T?
  21. Yes I too am interested in that other disc shooter, it almost appears to be rapid fire or multiple shots between loading. Also glad to see some variety coming to the shooter arsenal.
  22. I have been reading with great interest all the speculation and reasoning behind what the next modular will be, quite a lot of reading in fact, very insightful, well thought out explanations too. So with all that I feel the next modular will be a school of some sort. Of course I have no evidence to back up my prediction, just a feeling. We shall see.
  23. I don't think it strange at all, saves you from having to reload after every shot, as I pointed out in my previous post.
