  1. I get that feeling from this entire SC wave. I'm not really a car guy but they are cool, however I think this years sets offer some of the best building experiences to date, some very cool techniques going on in most every model and for me SC is more affordable than most other LEGO offerings. Oky, very good review, I enjoyed reading it and found the information handy, thanks for taking the time.
  2. You got it, lol Yes, exactly, thanks.
  3. I kind of wish they were all still yellow, lol, except for licensed sets, those I like fleshie. The funny thing is I consider LEGO and mini-figures to be separate things, I guess because in my formative years there were none. Might not be a popular opinion but I rarely buy sets for the minfigs. But I have been quite happy with a few of them.
  4. I was referring to the Brick tales sets, that someone mentioned, not the rumored new theme sets. Regardless the whole thing is foggy in my mind, lol.
  5. Me too but for a different reason, they are all bent as well, not straight. Which occasionally makes it slightly more difficult to join together parts with multiple pins sticking out, even moreso if like me, you orient all your pins the same direction.
  6. I like to slam TLG for changing things or deviating from the norm, especially if it involves bringing in more customers. Then in a couple of months I like to praise them for doing it.
  7. Absolutely gorgeous, as most of your models are very good, I find this one most appealing, love it and that it still looks like LEGO is a plus in my book. Well done.
  8. Oddly this is part of my basic life philosophy, well put.
  9. So the pictures of the sets on brickset are fake? I am so confused.
  10. Really disappointed with the pirate ship in the Caribbean island scene, just a row boat, lol. Really though didn't expect to much, considering the size of the builds. It is cool that the whole theme is designed to actually be a puzzle game, finding mini-figures and whatever else.
  11. When I first saw this great crane moc a couple of weeks ago, I thought the boom looked a little out of place on this model. Then today I saw a real life crane with a very similar boom. It was being used to lift huge, obviously extremely heavy concrete slabs for a commercial building so I have to say, well done, looks great.
  12. No sweat man, I knew it could be misinterpreted, that's why I stuck the lol in there. No offense taken or intended, now go out and buy some LEGO.
  13. Hmm, seems as though my light hearted comment has hit a sore spot, it was not intended as a slam to you or any other reviewer. My apologies to any offended party. Please don't "cancel" me, lol.
  14. God forbid a reviewer has to shell out 13 bucks for a set to review, lol.
  15. Looks very good, does the real batmobile have dualies on the back? Seems like extreme oversight on LEGO's part, to not include them. I do like the look though great job.
  16. I actually think that last car shows promise, just wonder why the rims are spokes out on the driver side and spokes in on the passenger side, lol. I do like how well it turned out though, especially at that scale.
  17. Very much enjoyed building this set and reading your review, to see if we share the same thoughts. Definitely a flimsy build and I am actually surprised it passed, many of my mocs are like this but rarely an official set. Still it is a great set and fun build, get it!
  18. LEGO is a great business opportunity, not only the buying and selling of actual LEGO branded stuff but you can also make a ton of money making videos and instructions for MOCs.
  19. Maybe try the profile from the new transformation vehicle, it's a tracked vechile.
  20. The more streched out coils compress more easily, so it could be to affect how the shock reacts at different load levels. Likely though makes absolutely no difference, lol. Maybe just an easy way to identify newer shocks from older ones, who can know?
  21. So great that you finished the model, looks great too and free instructions to boot, who could ask for more. Thank you very much. Lol, 22 wheels later
  22. As good as the model may be, it would certainly be in poor taste, at the very least, for LEGO to release a WWII prisoner of war camp, regardless of context. I would think any human capable of rational thought would realize this. Having said that, I did watch the show many decades ago, as a kid and think this is a very good representation of the show, I even recognize the little tank, from a specific episode. Very well done moc, 👍
  23. The design is so clean and smooth that it makes it look deceptively easy to build. Very well done.
  24. Yes it really needs a fourth gear and your solution seems to fit the bill. Might have to see if I can whip one up out of spare parts, not sure what to do about not having that one gear yet though, lol. Good job and thanks.
