  1. Sorry for not making any staff picks yesterday... Staff Picks of 22/05/18: ~Ice Salon by Silvio Fontaine ~Flower Shop by @Gabe Umland ~Rockery House by @higdon Congrats to all these MOCers! Today's staff picks will come in a separate post...
  2. @ZoulBrick, I'd definitely be interested to see the three pieces below in the newer style of window. Thanks!
  3. Wow, what a magnificent MOC! Great shaping and use of the curved slopes, fantastic use of the wedges as well as the old/discolored bricks, amazing details on the bridge and so on... The foliage works amazingly well with the water! Keep it up!
  4. I saw these on Flickr and need to say that I'm pretty surprised to see how fast you design these amazing cars! Normally, I'm not really interested in cars but these are just great. My favorite is the Georgia Tech Ramblin Wreck one, I love the way you used a 2x3 window as the front glass! You made great use of the binoculars and the curved slopes with cut corners as well. BTW, I saw your gorgeous drawing of your upcoming modular, can't wait to see it!
  5. Thanks so much @Hoexbroe! You're very welcome! It's me who is honored to get a response from such a great MOCer. I promise you that you aren't the only to feel that way. I start to be tired of the official modulars too, and I noticed that a lot of modular MOCs with instructions are in displays. That's for sure. It already helped someone... BTW, as a big Art Nouveau fan, I'd love to see your Casa Batlló updated! @paupadros may be interested as well...
  6. Staff Picks of 21/05/18: I'll highlight only one MOC today, but what a MOC! It is certainly worth three MOCs... ~Grand Palace of Thailand by Vincent's LEGO Creation Congrats to this MOCer and see you tomorrow!
  7. I was impressed when I saw this for the first time! Nice concept and great shaping. This would make a great set, hope it reaches 10.000 supporters! I'd love to see more stands of this type, BTW!
  8. That's a gorgeous MOC! The buildings with their roofs and their railings, the rock-work and the ship are all amazing! But the hill is absolutely the craziest/most unique part, I have never seen any created only by using limb elements! I like the clean water effect, fits really well here. What?! Seriously?!
  9. Malaysia MyRapid Station by @denil85 Modular Railway Station by @sheo Central Station by @Giacinto Consiglio
  10. I'm totally blown away... It's quite funny that your MOCs both encourage and discourage me to build (although I haven't built anything yet but I sure will): each MOCs you build are extremely inspiring but I'd never be able to build such an incredible model... Can't wait to see the tutorials!
  11. Fortress of Solitude, Satellite Outpost and End of Days by @Nannan Mirage by @Nannan and Tyler
  12. Staff Picks of 20/05/18: ~Abstract Library by Tom Remy ~Rustic Ferrari Workshop Filled with Nostalgia by @Startbrickingtoday ~Osaka Crab by DOGOD Brick Design Congrats to all these MOCers and see you tomorrow!
  13. Staff Picks of 19/05/18: ~Unnamed by @teabox ~Old Building in Hong Kong by @dvdliu ~Fashion Store, Apartments and Photo Developing Store by Scott Stasiuk Congrats to all these MOCers and see you tomorrow!
  14. I feel really bad, I think I should take some aspirine... Man, that's I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E!!! Mind blown! Speechless. You made my day, @paupadros, I'm considering this to be my all time favorite modular! There are everything you could search in a modular: NPU's, angles, techniques (and what techniques!), color scheme, taste, classical @paupadros craziness ... I fell in love with this modular... Seriously!! Apologies for my over exciteness, guys, but I think after seeing this jaw-dropping modular, you will give (at least almost) reason... The piano is very well done as well! And this looks so amazing with Sweets & Co. Keep it up!!
  15. Nice MOC! I like the fact that you almost put every brick on top of another but the buildings don't look plain at all. I really like the simplistic look of the brown and tan building, brilliant color choices! Some interesting parts usage on the façade of the gray and sand building, especially on the roofline and on the ground floor (it seems like you wanted to try a couple of techniques there)... But the way you used the palisade/log bricks is really genius! The mini-builds are simply amazing, especially the flower cart (which I almost love more than the buildings and the copy machine. Briefly, I agree with @deraven... Two things: What are the small weird black pieces used above the door of the gray and sand building? Thanks in advance! I personally prefer the three storey version.
  16. Thanks! BTW, I was wondering why you didn't cover up the studs. Maybe for making them look more Lego? Only wondering... If you like both midi scale and un-covered studs, I can recommend you a MOCer you're definitely going to like! A few of his MOCs below: This is an amazing idea! I found another very similar project.
  17. Nice to hear! Can't wait for the results! I'd be pretty interested to see a bigger variety of tiles. There are some pretty nice examples here.
  18. These are some nice micro-builds. I really like the scooter, it's easy but really effective! Look forward to see more progression!
  19. That's funny, I came across it a bit before you highlighted it here... Sad he can't continue. Man, that's incredible! It makes me want sooo much to go buy the Disney Castle! I wonder what @Inyongbricks thinks about it... Honestly, I don't know as I wrote it just before going to bed... When I woke up, it was approved and there were even two reactions. Mind. Blown. Haha, love it! Keep sharing guys, really appreciated! Great idea! Maybe it would be better that @Rick creates these polls though. It would also be great to do this with other themes! I think you (or @paupadros) should share this in Making EB More Active as well.
  20. Special Edition: Other Layout Staff Picks of 15/05/18: You guys rock! This topic reached 20.000 views in only a bit more than three months! You definitely deserve another special edition! This edition will compliment the Special Edition: Non-collaborative Layout Staff Picks of 12/05/18! --Other non-collaborative real life based and non real life based layouts: ~Brooklyn Brownstones by @Esben Kolind ~Escape from Planet Monday by @Aliencat ~Mushroom Row by Ben Spector --Non-collaborative streets: ~Modular City Street Side and Modular City Train Side by @Tavernello ~Promenade by @Kristel --Collaborative family made layouts: ~All Star Arena and Precinct by @frumpy and Brick Queen ~Amsterdam by @Lasse and @Anne Mette ~Plant Monster Invasion by @JanetVanD and Faolán Congrats of course to all these MOCers and see you tomorrow!
  21. Isn't it? But I seriously wonder what you think about this, guys... The one above is my favorite Art Nouveau building I discovered so far. And my second favorite - way more easy to replicate with Lego but still not amazingly easy - is these, especially the one on the right. And what about a real Asian building? I really wonder why we still don't have one. I found quite a big amount of Asian buildings made out of Lego, I'm sharing here MOCs in different architectural styles I'd like to see the most: To see more inspirational buildings (of all architectural styles), visit my Inspirational Modular and Non-Modular Building MOCs, I'd really appreciate to hear your opinions about the buildings I highlight and would love to see you share your favorite buildings there as well! That's rather unfortunate. I'd love to see an English building soon, I think we miss them in the modular line. That's a nice building! I'd love to see a similar modular as well!
  22. Sorry for not highlighting any buildings yesterday... I'll make the Special Edition for 20.000 views (that's unbelievable, you guys rock!) tomorrow and an ordinary one today! Staff Picks of 14/05/18: ~Chinese wind architecture - Kuang Dian by qian yj ~Singapore Peranakan House by Douglas Khoo ~Spanish Inspired Cottage House by Razzle Jazzle Congrats to all these MOCers!
