[ESL - FB] Little Fishing Boat
Roadmonkeytj replied to Wellesley's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
@Wellesley as much as I love custom sails can I shy you away from cutting the armada sails lol. There is a fella down under that prints beautiful replicas on eBay and OKK Brickworks also makes reprints. If you don't already know them I can get you the info via pm. We do have the SAIL LIBRARY so you can custom print your own with a little playing around! -
Commodore Grei's Office - Bardo

I believe it's Irish/celtic ... @gedren_y I like these as stained glass. Fitting for your "organization" as well. Which set did those mother/son characters come from were they out of the monster Fighters line? -

Very nice vessel indeed ... I think the gaff looks the part ... Any chance to as some custom paper sails? Do I spy a wip in those last pictures? Feel free to post in the shipwrights thread for some feedback during construction -
Did anyone save the pictures by chance?

I think the model is well constructed. It looks very similar to the references posted. It seems as if it runs well. The suspended track is cool but you need a way to compensate for the sway. For it to be successful. Although I am surprised how "little" your train broke up. My MOCs explode when they hit the floor lol. As far as the German I remember running around asking Was ist das? And pointing at things to learn. There is seemingly not any reason behind much of the masculine feminine and nuteted use of THE lol. I remember a teacher in school saying don't try to understand the reason as it seems a drunk decided which words fall in what category.

Roadmonkeytj replied to legoman666's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I think your standing on a coffee table lol... Are these like the existing printed track where the don't clip and un clip well after a few shows? Can you do a side by side of the actual Lego track? -

Thanks! Fire might be arranged! I'm sure we have some arsonists in our ranks. Against popular interest I've never actually seen a Doctor Who episode ... But I will take the compliment! I would avoid it as well... Unless you want your blood removed by a giant 8 legged variety -
Ohhhh I like! Totally not cheating... Decals on Lego = model lol plus CSX is a really simple livery I'm surprised we don't see more of it... Although it seems I've seen it much more this year then past years. Thanks for the sticker link! Edit: I find it odd that his real life reference photos are both wrecks lol but the stickers look great!

Could you include a link?

I actually like the 3d method any chance for more pictures in the future of this setup... My cup is looking at making bridges between layout tables and I rather like the hidden support idea.

Is there another source for these larger drivers?!? I thought BB was the only ones? Do you use a "P" or a "G" ring... The g series are usually thinner while the p are the standard.

I think the bridge turned out well! I have seen this bridge in person and I think it works well in Lego! Do you have any plans to build any other St Louis sights into your layout? ... The opening everyone is referring to it the gap created by the different height from the lower table to the uppers.

I think it's quite striking... How fragile is it?

Thanks I had the idea to build the lab to go along with @kaiju's spider hunt.... But I never got around to it. The giant spider was a later addition. Thanks! -
The House of Spiders was a well established Importer of spider venom. In fact they had managed to collect every spider known to minifig. This had been a prosperous day and the head spider hunter was bringing in this morning's haul. However this day had more in store. The professor had been experimenting with the spiders almost night and day. But for some reason he was nowhere to be found. At first it looked like vandalism. Until the Hunter looked up... Not wanting to fall to the same fate as the professor he caught the first ship off the island. Haven has now been overrun by giant spiders. Anyone wishing to visit does so at your own risk! ---- Comments and Criticisms welcomed!

[SR-KPA Reaction] For whom the Bell Tolls
Roadmonkeytj replied to Roadmonkeytj's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Honestly it kinda got put on a back burner ... As I'm struggling to find time for the builds I've committed to build for the faction and the AMCRA. I'm working 70 hours a week right now and with taking care of two small children time gets thin. -
Glad your back! I actually like this because you tied it directly to history... I actually never knew there was such a program... Then again I know more about the Cajun French then I do the Canadian French lol

Aaaannnddd tthheeenn?
-
No worries the scene looked great... Was more mentioning for historical... Just as on ships it was usually 4 per cannon and we never have the room lol The extra pictures are brilliant... What other good stuffs in that book?
-
Is that the white prefab swapped with black? The ship looks great indeed I may have to break out the box of prefabs!
-
Those are magnificent any chance to get the cannon itself from a couple angles? The scene is well composed but usually artillery would have a team of 4-6 per cannon
