This was refreshing to watch! That is awesome ... Last I had seen it was labor intensive ... The conductor would uncouple the string ... 2 or three depending on the size if the car. (The taller cars he would do two the shorter three) then signal the engineer and he would give a short push to get the car to roll into the unloader. Once in brakes would stop them then latch the wheels and roll. When I was there a second unit would pull the empties out. Looks like this is more technological then what I seen several years ago lol.

I like the look of this ... The trucks would suit it well.

@Terry Akuna So IRL they would uncouple the cars and just hump them into the dumper so Im assuming this does similar ... Ive watched your video in the other thread but missed this part ... Does this work on the loco end or the tail end? If Im understanding correctly this is what actually drives the consist through the dumper and not actually the motive power of the engine correct?

Darnok might caution you against this as he almost killed his crews sailing north into nothingness for months lol.

Will Callagan be reciving a bigger share now that he will reqire a hook? -
Number 2 sounds most intriguing however number one could have a grand story to unfold aswell. I also am turned off at the thought of further south as there is so much unexplored curently on the known maps.

I really like the look of these ... And. Would love a video of them one operational. My concern is the rubber is not vey flexible (more so than a brick but still pretty stiff)

BrickTracks: different curves, PF/9V compatible
Roadmonkeytj replied to JopieK's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Is this due to heat at the factory or due to shipping in hot trucks you think? Im not sure a hair dryer puts out enough heat (unless I'm over speaking here as ive not had to heat tracks) a heat gun on low would be much easier imho Just dont hold it in place too long or it will melt abs and deform your parts. -
Wasn't sure where else to put a discussion like this so here goes. My son wants this set for christmas: (21108) Its roughly 70ish on bricklink .... Easy right ... Well his brother also wants legos but he wants a police car .... And I know if his brothers car is bigger than his he will be upset about it (only a year apart so he has to have everything his brother has ... But different) I don't know of a police car that was ever built in 8W but I had a rather long dark age so I'm still discovering some awesome sets. My other thought was buy him a similar pirced police themed set ... However if theres too much in the set his brother wont be happy because all he got was the car and the Ghostbusters. So I figure I would turn to yall to see what your thoughts are?

IC: The residents of New Nassau have discussed it and there is great oposition to the WTC. While technically you can not be stopped from building ... there will be certain IC consequences to such an action. -
FEC #153 4-6-2 Pacific Locomotive
Roadmonkeytj replied to brickbuilder711's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Have you gotten to run this? The emereald chassis needed alot of work to get it runable without issues ... Even after she was still a finicky machine. Mine personally has to run CW not CCW I think some finishing decals would suit the model well though it looks fairly similar in shape so well done. -

Well just remember the tyranny of the crown is a sore subject in this settlement. -
You safely package her in a box and send C.O.D. to me ! Problem solved ! Its a really enjoyable ship ... I would hate to see her broken up but I know a grand ship would fill its place. If your no longer attached to her I would suggest this ... However personally I would more like to see her reinforced and rebuilt similar to original.

Opposed to no ... But questionable ... What would the WTC be doing in a fledgling pirate settlement?
