Shipwrights Guild Hall (WIPs, feedback, and advice)

Would flexible tube (like when making trees) be a viable option in your opinion? The tension should keep the bricks straight but if it gets bumped the tube should hold them roughly in shape right? -
oh this looks amazing! I will definately look you up on Mocpages. I figured since you can appreciate vintage fire equipment I would share the horse drawn pump I build a while back in case you missed it.

So initially I was not going to comment because I'm not a space guy (I know its crazy cause I had the awesome classic space sets growing up) however tonight I took a second look and looked past my bias. The ship actually has some cool features built in ... Its obvious you built it for play. From the side it looks very square but from an angle you have alot of slope to this one! I actually really like how you simulated cannon ports and the chain oddly works well with the two tone background. You had very clever use of the rafts to make little space scoots. The desk or comand center if you will is very nice ... Reminds me of the old double level organs. All in all Its actually a really cool ship ... Good work

I really like this version. It looks like it could have been a set! I would add the spanker off the renegade or add a lanteen sail similar to the way the black pearl did with the stay sail from the renegade.

I rather like this any chance to get a close up of the head rails and your dolphin striker?

I gotta say I really like this color combo. Which shows do you do? -
Greetings all! My Ideas Project in nearing the deadline for the first milestone! What is the game you ask? You simply pick one of the three levers to display your choice of Rock, Paper, or Scissors. Hopefully you can beat your opponent as well. I would love if you could support this and share! Feel free to comment! >>> Click Here for IDEA'S page <<< Rock! Paper! Scissors! Each player gets a module And a short video. Disclaimer: admittedly I originally posted this in the Technic forum as it is mostly technic. However I feel it really belongs here.

Odd experience with SBrick and PFx brick
Roadmonkeytj replied to zephyr1934's topic in LEGO Train Tech
So this has me thinking ... Obviously BW will have alot of "hubs" ... So there is always going to be the issue at lego shows. I know our club had no issue running 4 hubs within 10' of each other at the last train show (we were the only lego display though) so im curious to see our local BW as we plan to have more BT on our layout alone not to mention other displays BT. Out of curiosity were you running off the controller or the API App? -

I can hear the crowds shouting"Vive la révolution!" ... Well done the vignettes fit the story quite well ... The crowd is definitely my favorite. -
I use this method as well however it should be noted that you cannot use the "track pins" that come with them originally. You can still stack these in sections of 4 as well!

Maximum Track Length for Ascent/Descent?
Roadmonkeytj replied to Brickey34's topic in LEGO Train Tech
As much as I hate them I think a helix would be your best bet for 7 foot of vertical climb. They are quite common in scale model rr but ask anyone thats ever used them they work great but are a real pita if you derail in the helix. A vertical traverser might be something you could develop. Ive thought of this myself with some of the GBC technology thats out there just a matter of adapting it to your needs! Of course a super long ramp is the simple obvious solution, but you may find space to become an issue. (Ps the link that zephyr1934 included uses a helix system) -
Really convincing indeed! Good work.

[MOC] NS-1845 "Middelburg" Locomotive

I think the bridge deserves its own thread! The engine seems convincing. I also like the overhead. It would be easy enough to make the wire zig zag with your design. -
I love it. I might borrow your upper floor lol also really love how you did the dis used steps and sealed up door.
