  1. Man that thing runs like a raped ape!
  2. Make it so your custom edited strings can be locked in position and kept un breakable after locking.
  3. My only concern with a lubricant is staining with prolonged use
  4. If your willing to pay the cost I would be curious how Kluber would work? https://cnc-specialty-store.com/grease-lubrication/kluber-isolflex-nbu-15-50-gram-tube?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI39z3qcqC5AIVBMDICh3NpQTjEAQYASABEgIBvvD_BwE
  5. I do like the sloped hatch on this one
  6. Good to see another one added to the fleet!
  7. Interesting design ... I like how the toilet sits. Hopefully they install privacy glass lol
  8. So as much as we "hate" the new design I gotta say that this review brings up a very valid point. In the fact of custom bogies. The friction is still an issue but if someone was enginuitive enough to put bearing in the old trucks ... Then why can't it be figured out with these? @Giottist thanks for sharing the link.
  9. Hahaha but what does a lego hot box look and sound like is the question?
  10. I know from ordering my parts for my latest engine ... Lt Bley was easy enough and fairly cheep to come by. Could be a simpme comprise
  11. its been mentioned that its made of two different types of plastic. . I can only wonder if one of those is Derlin as its self lubricating and holds up to abrassive wear. Also it seems that the axle is supported on each side of the wheel now but it seems as if a solid axle could be fitted somehow For those unfamiliar with Derlin: DuPont™ Delrin® internally lubricated, wear-resistant acetal resins are used to help solve wear, friction or noise problems. They are used in conveyors across a range of industries, from food processing to semi-conductor manufacturing. Delrin® low friction grades allow for a longer lifetime of chains and wear strips, smooth sliding of goods, quieter motion and lubrication-free operations Perhaps this is on purpose ... With the rerailer its obvious this is designed to be played with off the tracks ... Independent wheels would allow it to turn better in tight circles such as on a desk or floor.
  12. Or they are reinforcing the fact that they are a TOY company ... But I agree with you on the bearing mounting... The split setup is not ideal at all (even with uneven track)
  13. I actually like the way you added some angle the the sewer grating.
  14. Does the jaw harp count? Lol
  15. The u clip hinge with the bar hinge upside down .... Do love the entire car being upside down though you wouldnt know unless you look closer lol
  16. My new favorite war machine. And love the video! The shape is spot on and i like the doors If your planning on keeping it together I would try to find another solution for the disks. Or if your not opposed file the "hubs" down so they stack better. Saying that i do love the playability they give though
  17. Perhaps pu would be better with color sensors?
  18. I wouldnt stack more than 3 or 4 personally but it you got the adjustable shelves for like closets that would let you store more.
  19. Even though I enjoyed seeing that many trains in such a small space I do think this is more pleasing to the eye and less sensory overload. Im sure you could add the monorail back if youmade a point to point on the back of the layout.
  20. Will the new wheelset make it easier to install turned metal wheels that could have a pick up added to use for 9v?
  21. I store my boxes flattened in the recycling bin so im not an expert by any means however from my scale model days cardboard and any paper product for that matter has a tinsel strength. Eventually you will reach it once the stack gets tall enough or heavy enough the bottom box witll start to bow. Where ever you store them you want to avoid direct sunlight and extra handling. If you just want to collect to say you have them then extra shelving in a closet would work. However i would recomend vertical storage easily displayed on a wall where you can lovingly dust them constantly.
  22. That it was I was able to program a forward reverse and stop in slow then a decouple that was a blast of power then off. Then just for fun I made a victory lap sequence. Main issue I had with the slider is the chains you build move around on the board as I try to press them ... Do you know a way to lock them in place once built? I did take a video ... Is not the best quality as its the laptop camera but it does show all 11ish minutes of me solving a random train. So had to speed the video up to 4x Here is the custom Api
  23. Besides the battery my favorite part is the round windows with the magnifying glass
  24. I made up a couple test loops ... Will try to set it up tonight and see if it works
  25. Did that ... Spent extra money in secret cause said wife felt legos were "dumb" divorced said wife but left the boys with their own tub of legos ... Which they love. Now buy legos for me and legos for the boys ... Usually online ... And usually I look at the cart total and go oh I can't spend that much. I try to limit myself to 200 a month ... Accept two months ago . . . Spent 1500 . . .on just bricks . . . from bricklink . . . for a new train layout . . . which I feel guilty about . . . mildly . . . but also like a kid on Christmas morning as the bricks roll in . . . now I'm trying to hold off on lego purchases for the next couple months . . . as I'm creating more orders . . . I'll let you know how that works out later lol. Seriously I can stop anytime I want to . . . . . . . I just don't want to right now lol. I feel I should help you from one lego lover to the next ... I will simply take the boxes of lego cluttering up your favorite head banging wall free of charge ... Its win win you get your free wall back ... And I gain a free wall of lego ... Lmao
