$150 I think would be fair, $120 isn't. There was 60080 from 2015. It was just a shuttle, 586 pieces and $120. That was insane. I feel 60229 is actually more overpriced than this new set. The buildings were a mess, the vehicle was just kay but the rocket was amazing. I got it for $78 new, it was only missing the 16x16 grey baseplate. The Main Street set has 1500 pieces and is $200. I feel there is less in that set than this rocket. Frankly I don't think any normal theme sets should have sets over $150. Thank you brimbolet. So it is nearly $300 for the two sets... yikes... The school, fire and police stations being the same price is just weird LEGO pricing to me. Save $10 and get the Friends school. -

So I'm guessing the 3 figure packs will be $15USD. Interesting they don't have stud shooters, but the price increase of these things are insane. -

So I think all the sets are garbage besides the temple. This makes my life easier. I do like the new dragon jaw, it's very 1990s American Godzilla looking. -

This 100%. Sometimes the pricing is insane. The horse transport is supposed to be 30 Euro (Or pounds?) and $40USD. That's insane, it's a $25 set. Same with the little beach scene and this years skater park. I'll go spent my money on friends which have mostly full builds (some roofs missing) than meh overpriced City builds. No one answered me on how much the moon base is but it's at least $100USD, then the rocket is $170. That's as much as NinjaGo City set or Assembly Square. -

I like the apartments and Instagram has back of the box art. They are very colorful and fun looking. But $150 is a lot and it probably has 77 stickers like the City of Lanterns.- 136 replies

Oh right Bart had duel molding legs. The rocket launch has the big moon base dome pieces in white! Exactly what I wanted! It's really nice and big. I thnk we know why City is going into space... It's to get away from all the squirrels. -
NM. Wrong place.

I love how there is a brown squirrel and a black one in the same set. The beach one has a kid with dual molded legs, is that a first? The school sucks. A bus without a door is lame. The fire station is interesting. And the prices are terrible if true on most of these sets. I also H-A-T-E the neon yellow HATE it. Pale yellow looked better. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

My issue with the dinner is the staircase. I feel it should have been on the back because it doesn't connect right to other modulars, feels disjointed. (If that makes sense.) I have seen several huge Corner Garage MOCs and they look amazing. -

Bigger pieces normally don't go for that much on Bricklink. I'm surprised it took LEGO so long to come up with that piece. Interestingly it looks like the frame might be 1x8 and the doors only 3 wide with 1 brick thick sides. At least it does with a pale green in a 4+ Friends set. Also the left hand side of the moonbase tilts up so you can connect it to the moon rover. -

I'm so glad they FINALLY changed the hair pieces with the 10th year. And Food Trucks is literally the perfect Friends set. The vet clinic has an interest new piece. It's an 8 wide door frame that holds two THREE wide doors with a hollow side on each side.- 136 replies

I find it. They filled in the gaps which is what REALLY annoys me and why I couldn't ever pull the trigger. -

Yes! I wish they were a darker tans blue. Not just that, how about solid colors for buildings? Like capitol buildings sometimes have domes. Be great in white. -

LEGO sticks it in a box that says 'City' on it. -

The police station is better than the last one and supposedly $70 is nice, but still I'll pass. The Hospital is $120?! The Bank is $100, yikes. The best part of the police station is the price. I'm going to mod the space station to expand the moon base as I have been using it as a land base anyways. -

They are on Instagram. That Police Station is just bad too. Another pass. The dump truck is nice in it. Hospital is fine I guess. I was spoiled by the last one. The teal and neon yellow are horrible. It's the first time I actually hated a new color. Bank building is nice. I don't need any of the vehicles. The Moon Base is one of the best space sets of my life. Just amazing. What's the cost again? Horse transporter is fine, same old same old. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Plus the SUV is really nice colors. -

Yes, but with Corner Garage I feel the outside needed another run in the design. I saw a mod here years ago, probably before I joined, and it made the shape more organic and lifelike. The Book Store and Police Station still look good on the outside. I wish the book store was pale yellow and that the Police Station didn't have that weird tiny sand green section, but they still have life. and look good in a row. Corner Garage looks like a City set garage then LEGO threw together something unfinished on told. It just isn't quiet there to me. Now don't get me wrong, it's still nice, I just have high expectation for a $200 LEGO set. They aren't met. -
The sun will expand and destroy the planet in about 5 billion years. That will still happen before anything train theme makes it through Lego Ideas.

It's not a good set to me. It's fine. But it needed another spin in a redesign. I hate the first floor and the next two needed some more work. If I can get it for $200 then fine, if not I'll also live. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

It happened with me and the Brick Bank too after the LEGO S@H was a mess. However that was 2018, it's 2021 and nothing is the same. I'm not paying a single cent over $200 for the set. It's why I didn't buy it in January, September or October. I just don't care for the set. It's just not to the level of the other ones. -

Amazon sometimes gets more in stock, but I doubt it will return to LEGO.com.
