  1. Unpopular Opinions about LEGO.... I don't care if someone says LEGOs and the people who do need to get out more.
  2. The door is sold out in the USA. However I see that being in many sets in the future. Hopefully in black.
  3. Soo.....? We never saw robot dinosaurs (supposedly it's a dinosaur and not a dog according to a new article) until season 4 of CC.
  4. This whole thing is a mess. And can we not call Giant LEGO STore a modular? It's technic holes aren't even in the right spots.
  5. I don't think Lockwood fits into the universe. My guess is that between Jurassic Park 3 and Jurassic World training dinosaurs for military uses corporations also made robot dogs. I think it makes perfect sense and fits into the world Jurassic World started.
  6. If nothing like that. I actually most of the colors LEGO makes. However how many yellows do we really need? I love Chima yellow, pale bright yellow is one of my favorites. I wish the Birch Bookstore was it. But the more colors we get the less parts we get for each color. Instead of adding new colors LEGO should use their imagination to work with the shades they already have. Like it's rumoured that the corner hotel modular for 2022 will use skin tone in the build. I think that's a great idea. Expand the piece range more than expand the color range. Of course as I saw that the new glitter colors and the dish pieces on the Marvel movie pizza slice space ship look amazing.
  7. A robot dog isn't any dumber to me than a human clone of some stupid useless character. The dinosaurs crossbreeds in Jurassic World were being used for military reasons. We currently have robot dogs with massive guns on it. So it's fine.
  8. I didn't buy it yet, was waiting for it to be $35 again so bought it right away. Buckbeak and the pumpkins are great. I very nice fall set.
  9. Yes they do, but please go on about USA warehouses from Austria. In 2018 the two modulars sold out on LEGO a few times. I've seen it happen often. Heck, 10+ years ago the costumer service woman even said that the 3rd party company that does the shipping would get extra stock and find stock of sets.
  10. The $10 2021 City sets are retiring because they are too good of a deal. They have 80-100+ pieces while the rumours of 2022 $10 sets have like 45-60 pieces. Remember that retiring means that LEGO will just no longer make new ones. Amazon could have 25,000 police cars in a warehouse somewhere. I have seen modulars sell out 3-4 times as LEGO kept finding more stock in warehouses.
  11. When I was growing up purple was a super rare color that was only like a special edition. Now we have 10 shades of purple and blue, and pinks. It's really silly and not needed. I'm hoping the new yellow is limited to some special parts like the torso we have a picture of. And yes, sand red needs to come back and be in a mason brick piece. Coral is in a 1x4 mason brick on Decmber 1st so I doubt they will be canceling the color.
  12. Oh I like that crane, Nice size, nice colors. Very nice LEGO. Also only $40-$50USD so yay.
  13. Because it takes like 8 batteries.
  14. It's nice to have the elf hat in red in an official set but besides that I wish I bought Corner Garage during double points. haha It's valued at $30AUD which is $22USD, aka $20. So it's probably free with $120 again, maybe $150.
  15. Amazon direct has sold every modular for the last 15 years. I think they even Market Square. Amazon sells pretty much all LEGO, they even started selling Monkie Kid. The station is great. I have a great eBay seller that I get things cheap from. I got the Elves Clubhouse a few weeks ago for 30%ish off with a slightly bad box. I think it's my favorite set of the series.
  16. I don't live near a store. Amazon still has it, but I swear the Corner Garage was OOS when the yacht boat was a freebie because I bought the modular Police Station instead. It's my least favorite modular of the last few. But if LEGO is going to ask $120, $150 or $200 for a 'free' gift there needs to be better stock on the website.
  17. Yeah I was waiting for the freebies to get Corner Garage but now it's OOS. It's super annoying.
  18. EXACTLY! The whole theme was never really based on the book. The theme is called Monkie Kid, not Journey to the West, they just took a few characters to SELL A TOY in the biggest country in the world. Getting upset because there is a rocket when this year there was a fighter jet is ridiculous. Journey to the West is real easy when you have jets and motorcycles, which also weren't a thing when the book was written hundreds of year ago. But a rocket is too much?
  19. God. I hate that LEGO fanboys are so blind. My point is why would LEGO start now? They have never been close to following it, and 'respectful' is laughable too.
  20. Oh yes because LEGO was being so faithful with the source material.
  21. Exactly! Also Kohl's has a credit card and if you sign up you get 35% off your first purchase. There are exceptions but from what I see LEGO isn't listed so that might be worth a try too.
  22. Yeah the other pictures make it look MUCH nicer. The thing can hold so much and still looks like a strong build.
  23. Thebrickfan.com has more pictures and you are right. The colors aren't changing. It's just hard to tell from the one Brickset picture and LEGO lighting of pictures is weird. It looks really amazing. Even the interior is stunning.
  24. Is that blue color teal or dark azure? I'm thinking azure because it's the same color as Sandy. I probably should get my eyes checked.
  25. I bought Assembly Square in January without freebies because I thought it would retire. I don't think it's ever going to retire. In the USA Kohl's sells it for $280 and yesterday you got back $90 in Kohl's cash or something that you then could spend on more LEGO. It's the best deal I have seen for the set.
