  1. Bricklink prices are based on supply and demand. The 10330 tyres are cheap because there's not much demand for them, demand for these new 10353 tyres will be much higher due to 10330 owners upgrading. The new tyres will be more useful for MOC builders as well, which will only further increase demand and prices.
  2. Another classic F1 car, now with proper width rear tyres and printed sidewalls. Let's hope Lego sells the new tyres via their pick a brick service otherwise bricklink prices will be brutal with so many of us wanting the tyres for our 10330s.
  3. Looks like I was right about it being the new Panigale V2. Nice that they have gone back to the big 8x16 display plaque, hated how the MT10 had a smaller plaque that didn't match the 8x16 on the M1000RR.
  4. My guess is it will be the new 890cc Panigale V2/V2S, so almost certainly red but shouldn't have too many stickers as it doesn't have any graphics on the fairings like the BMW M1000RR has.
  5. They actually sent that to several people when the castle released, all in New Zealand. Australian customers got the correct set, despite orders for both countries being shipped from the same warehouse in Australia.
  6. Bought the Sail Barge day 1 as I wanted the lightsaber GWP and didn't want to pay a fortune for it on the secondary market. NZ & Aus Lego certified stores had double VIP points on the Sail Barge and the 40658 Falcon holiday diorama as a second GWP so it worked out to be a slightly better deal than buying from lego.com And it's made from good new brown plastic, so you don't have to worry about the dreaded pre-2019 brittle brown like if you bought bricklink parts.
  7. Could possibly have more minifigs than just Jango & Boba? 75060 had 4 minifigs + carbonite Han. Or if we're lucky Lego will finally remake the Coruscant airspeeder chase set.
  8. The 75396 Skiff is around 1/42 scale. Not a perfect match but should still be close enough to look good displayed with the barge.
  9. A little disappointing that the big August set is an ISD instead of the Death Star playset. Already got both UCS ISDs so have no need for a smaller 3rd one. Hopefully Cal doesn't cost a fortune to bricklink.
  10. Being a Lego fan in Australia or New Zealand may have it's downsides but at least our timezones allow us to get on the website to place our May 1st orders early. Now that the Europeans and Americans are trying to place their orders the site is soiling it's pants. Some things just never change.
  11. New interceptor looks great, cockpit and pylons are a nice improvement over the 75095 TIE. Will pass on it myself though as I've already got a 75095 based interceptor.
  12. Agreed for the most part, but UCS sets that are minifig scale should always have some relevant minifigs. Especially now that Lego's designers are going to the effort of including full interiors.
  13. NZ prices are similar. After counting our 15% GST, R2 is overpriced by about $40NZD and the Tantive is underpriced by about $40NZD compared to their US prices.
  14. Incredibly disappointing if this is true. Would prefer if they made a completely different UCS/MBS set entirely if they aren't able to do the Khetanna properly with a detailed interior.
  15. Some more info from brick_clicker 76919 new unrevealed car 76920 Ford Mustang Dark Horse 76921 Audi S1 Etron Quattro 76922 BMW M4 GT3 and M Hybrid V8
  16. I'm interested to see what that unknown car is, whether it's a brand Lego have done before or a new one. Maybe Zenvo or Rimac?
  17. It's roughly 30% longer and wider than the Falcon according to Wookiepedia, but double the height. Even if Lego were to shrink it down to the same width and height (or even a bit smaller), the taller bulkier hull shape would still require more pieces and therefore a higher price. Especially if they give it a full interior which many of us would now expect after the interiors they put in the AT-AT and Razor Crest. I'm guessing 10k pieces minimum, and probably over 1k in € and USD. As nice as the Ghost is, I just don't see Lego making a set that big and expensive. Maybe if they eventually make a 3rd UCS Falcon with a full interior, but even that I'm not sure about as the 2017 one is still available now in 2023.
  18. Real motorbikes have a "backwards" tread pattern on the front tyre so the 42159 MT-10 is much more accurate.
  19. The lack of dual molded legs on most Imperial officers annoys me more than the printed kamas. Lego already makes perfect dual molded DBG/black legs and sells them via their PaB service but most Imperial officer minifigs just get plain DBG legs. Having filled my UCS AT-AT with snowtroopers I can at least understand the issue with cloth kamas and seating minifigs.
  20. I was on the fence about whether I get the gunship until I saw the price. Had it been the Muunilinst 10 gunship I might have grudgingly paid $270 for it, Coruscant guard is an easy pass when it's practically the same price as the Ghost which releases on the same day.
  21. Can understand why they are remaking the UCS Interceptor but would have preferred a remake of Vader's X1. Have already got a custom one based on the 75095 TIE so will likely pass on this one.
  22. I wonder if the Tantive IV boarding diorama is actually the boarding scene from ANH? It could be the Profundity hallway scene from Rogue One as that would only need Vader plus 2-3 rebel fleet troopers. Given that sets around that 55€ pricepoint usually only have 3-4 minifigs, and the Tantive IV boarding would also have stormtroopers and possibly Captain Antilles as well as Vader and the rebel troopers. Podrace diorama sounds promising, as does the buildable droideka. Still somewhat disappointed that the battlepack will be the third clone battlepack in a row but at least the super battledroids are finally coming back. For me it depends on how high the rank is. 1 sergeant or squad leader in a battlepack with 3 regular troopers would be fine, but a commander is way too high rank for a massable set. Specialists in a battlepack are fine so long as they don't outnumber the regular troopers like in that 75266 TROS Sith battlepack a few years ago.
  23. Most of them are on the NZ website now except for the Yoda starfighter. Most of them have been available at local retailers for a few days, only one I haven't seen is the Mando S3 spider tank.
  24. 3 clone battlepacks in a row? There had better be an amazing Imperial battlepack after that one.
  25. First Japanese vehicle outside of Speed Champions, and even that theme only had 3. 2 GT-Rs and the Supra.
