  1. Yeah, I could have the same problem . . I hope the new ones are at least compatible.
  2. I'd be excited to see that. Y'now, as long as they don't keep up this overdependence on the 'pastel' colours. Normal colours are fine, people!
  3. 76 ànd Mercy? Perfect! Those are the two I want the most. Now, if we can get Junkrat, Roadhog and Winston, I'll be happy. ^^ (Wouldn't say no to Wrecking Ball either!) I'd say Tracer too, but she's pretty much obligatory.
  4. Oh. My mistake. Still, the potential battle packs is good news. ^^
  5. There's a press release with what looks like an image of an official Tracer minifigure! I'm disappointed that her time harness bit seems to be printed, not a new part. https://www.dailystar.co.uk/tech/gaming/723274/Overwatch-lego-release-date-news-pre-order-rumours-2018-updates In addition to rumours that there'll actually be a total of six sets, there was also something about 'a supporting range of minifigure and accessory packs'. I think we might be seeing some sort of Battle Pack line!
  6. There is the slim possibility that we'll get Wreck-It-Ralph . . though I don't think Vanellope would make a good mini-doll, unless they introduce some much-demanded short legs . . . I'm down with a new Merida set. I missed the first one and regret it, so I'd love to make up the difference.
  7. I say we assume it was Echo Zane until proven otherwise. (As in, with Echo Zane appearing again in the series in a different role.)
  8. I agree. Personally, this list sounds entirely reasonable. I hope the Chamber of Secrets would follow the new system of Hogwarts sets being able to attach together, though it being underground doesn't get my hopes too high for that . . maybe we'll see something similar to that one Minecraft Dungeon set. I hope the Room of Requirement has everyone in school robes and with the new half-long legs. Especially Luna. Though it bothers me a bit that there'd be five students there but only one non-Gryffindor. The Diagon Alley one would obviously be the big one here, but it could be designed to serve the functions from multiple movies. Heck, maybe it actually will be structured as a pseudo-Modular like the Ninjago City sets to go with the Creator Expert lineup. I'd like that. It would make integrsting it to a city a lot easier. Though the only problem there is that Modular tend to go for verticality, while Diagon Alley is very horizontal and the only building that would be taller than two stories would be Gringotts . . hey, wait, actually. What if Diagonal Alley was a 32x48, or even 32x64, with Gringotts physically connected to the other buildings, and, as some have speculated, there'd be rollercoaster parts involved that take minifigure into the top floors of the other buildings, which are built to accomodate Gringotts vaults? EDIT: Or, maybe, Gringotts might not need to 'look connected'; they could have a suspended tunnel or something made of clear bricks to make it look 'invisible'. . . . Now I really want to see something like this, and might just MOC it . . .
  9. So, apparently yit's been confirmed that there was a draft of S.O.G. where Mr. E was revealed to actually be Echo Zane. They just scrapped it because Zone doesn't remember the events of Skybound (and even if he did, never met his Echo self) and therefore has no idea who Echo Zane is. And it would have taken too long to catch Zane up with (and remind the viewers of) those events. It's bit of a shame, but I guess it's better than; E: *pulls off helmet* Zane: "You're . . . um . . who are you?"
  10. Eh. Speak for yourself. I'm happy to have horse-drawn carriages amidst cars from the 1900s through to modern time periods. They still have horse-drawn carriages as a novelty in places like London. It's all in good fun.
  11. So, there's a picture of what seems like a new Fire Temple set on instagram . . but I think it's fake; it looks totally unchanged from the 2011 version.
  12. Please, Lego. I need a mini-doll version of Elsa with that glorious shirt.
  13. Y'now, come to think of it, this might be why they introduced those new trans ruby elements (part 35649) that form the Elvenstar over in the Elves theme. Those sure do look like jewels . .
  14. Um . . . this is not where I thought this was going . . . so, Lego jewellery? Aren't they already making those little Friends bracelets that you get at the Lego Shop? This sounds . . like I'm not going to have to worry about assigning a portion of my budget to 'AL'. All the more for Overwatch and TLM2!
  15. I wouldn't count on Ana, Torbjorn and possibly Reinhardt making it into sets, they're on the more obscure side of things.
  16. So, has everyone seen the new Xtra play mat packs? Psrsonally, the water-themed ones - 853841 - are gorgeous, and I'm considering using them for the bay area in my village layout. (I don't have the budget for fully tiled over ocean baseplates, and these look like a much cheaper alternative.) But I'm not sure how compatible the playmats are with standard baseplates, which is what the rest of my village, including the surrounding areas, are built on. In particular I'm wondering if the playmats' thickness might line up with the water level of the two Ninjago City sets. Is there anyone who has one or more of these playmats and can compare how they sit with baseplates for me?
  17. Yeah, same. It's unfortunate that I missed both the house and the Kwik-E-Mart, but I could definitely see a set of Moe's Tavern . . or maybe Mr, Burns' Power Plant?
  18. Six sets? Well, we only have confirmation of four, but six sounds more reasonable. And more in line with what we've seen from the likes of Minecraft, which is really the only precedent we have for a line like this. Don't forget Mercy! I need Mercy! And Fort Gilbatrar. Overwatch needs a base of operations, and it's all the better if it's also a playable map. Hmm . . If there are six, and they each have a tutor least two minifigures, maybe four . . but some might be repeats between sets . . I'm still hopeful for two medium scale sets with Genji and Hanzo, and Junkrat and Roadhog, respectively. Then the other four can be more 'standard' D.Va, Tracer, Winsron and Mercy vs Reaper, Widowmaker, Doomfist and . . the purple hacker girl whose name I've forgotten. Oh, and Bastion! We need Bastion too! If the sets turn out like this, I'll be a happy customer.
  19. Okay, that makes more sense.
  20. Really? Didn't look like it from the pics I saw. Then again, I don't actually have one . . Eh. Looking forward to the farm anyway. Hopefully it'll be close enough to medieval/fantasy stuff for a decent MOC.
  21. I think the closest we've ever had to a proper pool was the Ship In A Bottle. Though how would it work? Would they dump a bunch of trans blue studs into a built enclave? That sound s like a recipe for disaster to me . . maybe if they designed a tiled-over section of floor a la Ninjago City and built in a couple of holes so that minifigure could be placed inside to look like they're partly underwater? That's the only thing I can think of that wouldn't be liable to spill if you moved it . . though following the example of Ship In A Bottle would be a lot more dynamic . . hmm . .
  22. Does anyone know any good four-stud-wide train designs? My layout doesn't have room for a proper train setup, but I am considering implementing an elevated rail using the new roller coaster parts. Does anyone have any advice?
  23. I completely agree. Though, to be honest, in terms of minifigure s would there be much difference between the Outdoor Adventures one and a hypothetical Fun In The Snow?
  24. And there's potential appeal for people who are only interested in high-end CREATOR-style stuff, too. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I desperately want to see a Modular Building of No. 12 Grimmauld Place. To say nothing of the D2C Hogwarts we're just now getting. As a rule, I'm only interested in minifig-scale stuff, but I can see why people would want it as a display piece.
  25. IMO, for a DADA Classroom set, the best case would be a two-storey building with the classroom in the bottom and the office on top, with an interior that can be tweaked to acccomodate Lockhart, Lupin or Umbridge. Minifigure woukd be all three professors, as well as Harry and Hermiome. Maybe Draco too.
