Hey, does anyone know if the hairpiece Faith uses in the show is a real part or just CGI?

Okay, seen the Aquaman set . . . I suppose, objectively, it's alright. Just . . I was hoping for some structure. Something that I could use to build up an Atlantis display. So this disappoints me . . but I'll have to get it anyway for Mera. Unless there actually is a second set coming? Here's hoping,

It isn't? But it's the only S7 set that I haven't seen anywhere, in any shop.

[MOC] Food Stand Diners (One for the Rollercoaster fans)

These look brilliant. I might recreate one or two, or do something similar, for the boardwalk I'm building.- 45 replies

Is all this confirmed (or at least likely) for 2019 or just speculation?

Is there anyone else in Australia? Because the two summer sets haven't shown up in any of my shops. I thought they were supposed to show up at the same time as Ninjago, but Ninjago Summer is here in full swing and I haven't seen either the Elvenstar Tree or the Showdown in any shop. Is it just me? When can I expect them to arrive?

All of them? That's unlucky. For me, it was only the two that were unique to the set; the other three were present and accounted for. The thing that confuses me even now is; the box that contained Vision and Corvus Glaive's capes. How did he get it open to remove Corvus' cape without damaging it? He even left Vision's cape in there too . . .

I do hope we get that new part. It looks awesome, and the MOC potential is endless. (I'm sure we'll end up with some minifigs that have ridiculously oversized horns, though. XD) Hmmm . . if we got the three-stud-tall Toy Story legs, a secondary torso like the ones Garmadon uses, a little extra height by using a couple of brackets on the two necks, and this part with some brick-built horns thrown on, we might just be able to make the tallest mini figure ever! Heh, wait. If we got Lord Garmadon and gave him Outrider-style extra arms in both torsos . . . WE COULD HAVE A MINIFIGURE WITH TWELVE ARMS!!!! That escalated quckly, but the point stands that minifig customisation possibilities are just about endless these days. And it just gets better.- 4,591 replies

Adding on to the Harry Potter Quidditch Match

Heh. What's Lucius doing in the Gryffindor section? XD Looks great, the only thing I would criticise is the absence of the black/white 'referee' tower. Which could be easily fixed, if you did indeed get two of the set, then it should be easy enough to use the Black parts from the second Hufflepuff tower and the light bley (since they used light bley in place of white on Slytherin) from the spare Slytherin tower to recreate it . . . if you want, that is, obviously I'm in no position to tell you how to build your MOCs . . though, now that I think about it I might get two and do that myself . . anyway, looking great! -

Marvel Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion

Something that I don't think anyone has noticed yet is that the press release makes note of a 'tech spider'. And if you squint at the stud shooter arm of Spidey's mech, you can see what to me looks like one of the Tech Critters from the last Nexo Knights wave. That's interesting. But this set looks awesome. People are calling out the Spider-Man Mech for being skimpy with details, but to me it just looks like they kept it smooth, so that it would be agile and manoeuvrable, like Spider-Man himself. And the giant Venom is pure, unadulterated awesomeness. I'm pretty sure that's just a repeated City torso with fleshie hands on Aunt May, but the Bridge Battle set a couple of years back was out of my budget at the time, so I won't protest the chance to get her. And Spider-Gwen/Ghost Spider seems to have come from the same place that the Wasp did, but I guess poorly detailed Spider-Gwen is better than no Spider-Gwen. Definitely getting this ASAP. If it really releases December, it'll be just in time for the Christmas sales.- 3,962 replies

Water and wind dragons, please. Light and dark would be good too. Just more Dragons in general that we haven't already gotten. I mean, I suppose that Firstborne is technically an 'every element' Dragon, but she looks like a Fire Dragon, so . .

Wizarding World of Harry Potter Wishlist
Fenghuang0296 replied to Falconfan1414's topic in LEGO Licensed
There are a number of things that I'd like to see, but I think the big ones are; 1. A Modular Building version of No. 12 Grimmauld Place. If they did Ninjago City they can do this. And even if they don't incorporate the 'sliding out of the adjacent building' - which, to be fair, would be practically impossible - it would still be awesome. Especially since there's never been a Modular Building with black as the main colour before. 2. The Shrieking Shack. With a Lupin that's able to change from human to werewolf, please. I don't care what other minifigures they include, but please give us lycanthrope Lupin. 3. The Hungarian Horntail! We've seen the leaps that Lego has made in dragon design in Ninjago. Imagine the beauty that a new Horntail would be. 4. More Hogwarts modules - the new system they've introduced is brilliant, and I can't wait to see where it goes. Common requests are the DADA classroom, the Astronomy Tower and the Chamber of Secrets. Any or all of these would be amazing and I want to see them happen. 5. Diagon Alley. Well, specifically, Ollivander's and Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. But Gringotts would be cool too. -
Oh, crash, you're right. I just inspected the packaging again; the bags were cut open along the side and taped up. Okay, if you think they'll allow it.

Okay, so I wasn't sure where to put this, but it relates to a Licensed set, so I figured it was as good a place as any, Today, I purchased 76103 Corvus Glaive Thresher Attack on sale. One more stone for the Infinity Gauntlet, several minifigures that I didn't have, two of which were exclusive, and some pretty nice parts that I could use for . . well, whatever I wanted. But when I got to building it, a few things were missing. That is, the minifigures of Nakia and Corvus Glaive, as well as the Mind Stone - that is, the entire bracket, not just one of the four. Everything else was present and accounted for. Even the spare golden blade part of which two are used in the construction of Corvus Glaive's titular weapon. This leads me to believe that, during production, prior to the set being packaged, some unscrupulous, amoral minifigure collector who works in the production line stole the minifigures, their accessories, and Infinity Stones from my box. This has never happened to me before. I didn't think this sort of thing could happen. Has anyone else had an experience like this? How should I go about resolving it? Because the fact remains, I bought this. I paid for it with the expectation that I would receive these minifigures, as well as the second-last stone for Thanos' Gauntlet. However, I am concerned that if I file for a replacement using Lego's replacement parts service - after all, these are unique minifigures. How could I prove that I didn't receive them and want extras to sell on the aftermarket? Please advise.

Hey, I just noticed. Lucy lost one of her gloves. Her left hand is exposed and yellow now. I think we all know what this means . . . LUCY IS SECRETLY A JEDI!!!! -
Yeah, I thought it looked like Chima. But then I saw the bridge and remembered the bridge that was turned into a ghost while the Ninja were on it, and I didn't immediately recognise the shape, so I went back . . oh well.

I dunno' looks kind of fake. And what's a 'Ninjago time movie'? Either way, though. I'm seeing the Golden Dragon Master, as well as what I assume is Zane and a mech for Zane. Plus the building, and . . wait! It's the Hanging Temple, isn't it? From Ghost Story?

The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion
Fenghuang0296 replied to Fenghuang0296's topic in Special LEGO Themes
These sets look incredible. The Ultrakatty is an absolute must-have. And I love that the Duplo will be represented by built-up, to-scale models rather than actual Duplo parts, that's genius. And YES YES YES, Sweet Mayhem's Systar Spaceship has not been scaled down in the slightest! I think it's actually a perfect recreation of the on-screen version! That's awesome! If the price is really that high, I might be waiting for a sale, but also definitely getting it. The truck is the only one that feels a bit underwhelming. Is that the same truck from the trailer? Because I could swear that it looked different. Also, I'm pretty sure that the 'buildable base' refers to Metalbeard himself. I can't say that I understand why Metalbeard's in there, and will definitely be holding out for a different set that features his full, built-up mech body. Which leaves Sharkia . . who exactly is that? Did they just shoehorn in a random Apocalypseburg citizen like they did with a bunch of the Ninjago Movie sets? Still, for its flaws, it looks good, and if I see a decent sale I might get it all the same. -

To be fair, Cole did that in Ghost Story too, when they visited the Caves of Despair. And yes. I definitely want to see Mystake's true form. I bet Mystake isn't even her real name! XD- 4,591 replies

The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion

Well, we were half right . . clever, making Unikitty the exclusive. This way they can showcase something new without needing to rush any of the new molds . . . wait, no, she has that new spiky tail. Huh . . that tail part does look good, which is a relief, because to be honest I expected them to just reuse the existing tail part and print the spikes on. Also, her face looks less in line with the original versions from the movie and more in line with the cartoonish style they've been using for the Unikitty! sets. Cross-promotion?
