That's tricky. The problem with centaurs is that the sets are based on the movies, not the books. And while centaurs - particularly Firenze - featured significantly in the books, they only briefly showed up in the movie. So . . maybe, whenever they get around to Year 5 (I'd estimate 2020) we might see a set with Harry, Hermione, Umbridge and a centaur or two, with the main build being a brick-built version of Grawp? I mean, we got the Oni Titan over in Ninjago, and it'd be a pretty similar design to a pretty similar scale . .

DC Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
Fenghuang0296 replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
Not yet, but it's way too early to be hearing about next year's D2Cs. We still haven't even heard about this year's last D2C in the Star Wars Cloud City. On an unrelated note, since everyone knows that there's going to be at least one Shazam set next year (which excites me; Shazam is an all-time favourite of mine); does anyone think it's likely that we'll get a Billy Batson minifigure? I hope that we will, but considering how long it took to get Tony Stark and Bruce Banner minifigures, and that we still don't have T'Challa, Peter Parker or Clark Kent minifigures, it doesn't look good . . -
Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation
Fenghuang0296 replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Honestly, I'm not a major X-Men fan. As long as we eventually get Jean Grey, as well as a Phoenix variant, Nightcrawler, and Quicksilver, I'm down with whatever. -
I really hope we get a brick-built Horntail. Maybe also with a tower, or some stands, that can be used to expand Hogwarts a bit? I can't wait either way. 2019 is gonna have so much good stuff!

DC Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion

That is exactly what I said. It's obvious now; Batman's Knightmare wasn't an alternate future, it was a psychic experience he had because he briefly mind-melded with his Lego counterpart in Apocalypseburg! -

Yeah, that's what I think will happen. There'll be a resurgence of the Skulkin for Winter, and Oni in Summer.- 4,591 replies

Wizarding World of Harry Potter Wishlist
Fenghuang0296 replied to Falconfan1414's topic in LEGO Licensed
Okay, so I recently found out about the Architect of Hogwarts, and the fact that there is a golden statue of him in Hogwarts. And check out this picture of him; http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Architect_of_Hogwarts Does that model of Hogwarts he's holding look familiar? It should. Because it is an exact duplicate of the Hogwarts Great Hall set - or, rather, the Great Hall is based directly on that model. Now I really want to see a CMF including the Architect with a microbuild of the Great Hall. Who's with me? -
Eh. The nanofig-scale D2C doesn't do it for me. I want my Hogwarts to be minifig-scaled. But speaking of minifig-scaled sets . . while I was reading about the D2C, I found mention of an 'Architect of Hogwarts' statue. This confused me, since I've never heard of anything like that before, so I looked it up. And found this; http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Architect_of_Hogwarts Does the picture look familiar? Especially, say, the 'model of Hogwarts' that the Architect is holding? The Hogwarts Great Hall set Is an exact replica of the Architect's model! Forgive me if someone noticed this already, but that is just an amazing little bit of trivia. Now I really want the Great Hall.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Fenghuang0296 replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I like the idea of a hotel, but keep in mind that the next Modular is going to be a corner building. And 'hotel' and 'police station' sound like things that would work better as straighter buildings. Keeping this in mind, and considering the kinds of corners we've had in the past - a bank, a cinema, a major shopping centre and a cafe - it's pretty clear to see the running theme of public buildings. Whereas things like fire stations and town halls, things that are less accessible to the general public, tend to be straight buildings. Which leads me to conclude that the much-considered bowling alley is entirely likely. Other options that I'd think feasible include the car wash and the sports equipment store. To be honest, though? I don't care so much about what it actually is so much as what colour it is. My village suffers from an overabundance of tan and medium dark flesh. It's actually the reason I've been holding off on getting the Downtown Diner - I love the teal, but I really don't want a big slab of tan when it'll be right across the street from another big slab of tan (my modified, expanded Lockwood Estate.) It was great when they did the Parisian Restaurant; taking a rare and disused colour like olive green and making it the core colour of a Modular. Or the Brick Bank, white is such an underappreciated oclour, and the massive, ornate facade the Bank hosts is beautiful. I hope they'll do something like that again. How about purple this time? Or dark brown? Maybe put some of the pastel colours from the Friends line to greater use? I want my city streets to be a brightly coloured rainbow, not a mass of uniform tan and dark flesh, with only spots of blue or red to break it up. I hope the designers are reading this. -

Honestly, I'd like to see some more suburban stuff. Though a safari theme would be good. I'd love a new style lion . . . wouldn't much mind a Space subtheme either. (As long as, like @Digger of Bricks says, it's actual space, not Spaceport . . .) Ooh! They should totally do a Moonbase subtheme! -
My sentiments exactly. Though I do have a theory as to why it's popping up now. The Lego Movie Sequel. I've taken another look at Batman's 'knightmare', and . . well, it looks a hell of a lot like Apocalypseburg. We're just missing some giant Duplo monsters. And you can't deny that Knightmare Batman looks like he'd fit right in in Apocalypseburg. It might be a bit of a stretch, but it's all I've got. And I'll definitely at least consider getting it, because that Batsuit looks sick.

The Temple was destroyed by the Vermillion, remember? I guess Master Yang is still stuck in the ruins. I suppose the monastery was rebuilt in honour of the First Spinjitzu Master. I mean, they did just save all of Ninjago from Lord Garmadon. I suppose rebuilding Wu's childhood home is a gesture of goodwill.- 4,591 replies

The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion
Fenghuang0296 replied to Fenghuang0296's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Okay, so there's a new character who's basically another version of Owen Grady. (Oh man; Star Lord, Emmet, Owen and now this guy? My city is gonna be infested with Chris Pratts!) There's also a big Batman mech . . . though there's a comic-inspired Barman Mech coming out in the official DC line. That might be a bit of a clash, so maybe we should expect this new mech to be in the Summer wave. It's a little clearer how the fight between Lucy and Sweet Mayhem that we saw in the first trailer happens, now . . . also we're getting more dinosaurs. Not a big surprise considering this movie is hot on the heels of Jurassic World, and the molds are still warm. Also, we apparently are not getting our first look at Queen Whatevra Wa-Nabi, who likes being a horse or a Duplo monster. Hoping both forms, as well as a minifig version, will be represented in sets. -
All I want is a revised, updated iteration of the Twilight. (With an updated Ahsoka minifigure.) I don't care about anything else, but I want that G9 freighter.
