LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
Brickviller V2 replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The Heavy scout walker seems like a really interesting design as a Star Wars vehicle. As a Lego set however it seems really lacking, almost like an unfinished set. Even the walking function doesn´t work like it should be and the head is fixed. I get a first order snow speeder set vibe from this, even though the snowspeeder was actually well designed. I really see this set being on sale within a few months, unless the vehicle has a significant role in the movie. -
Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Brickviller V2 replied to Gearslover01's topic in LEGO Town
It indeed seems kinda small, the interior seems not really special but the crossing and bus seem nice. Not really on my wanted list though. -
Do I spot white train doors with that camper/trailer? I thought we didn't had those in a while, if ever.

Whoa This has to be one of the coolest, most well thought out moc's I've seen for a while. I love the pub, the small details here and there and that arch is awesome too!

Cool looking steam engines! I too like the physical made Mallard better than the digital version

Nice! I've been following your great layout since I was a child. It always inspired me to make my own. Seeing you redoing the entire thing must be such a good challenge. Keep up the good work

What would you like for the next Castle line?
Brickviller V2 replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I just hope Lego will do a new Castle theme like Kingdoms, with two (or more) human factions with a nice castle. I really like the one from Kingdoms, and the ones after that seem to fall a little behind in terms of design and realism. But everything is better than Nexo Knights -

Nice, I like that we get that coffee employee torso in cheaper sets now -

The scale of it definitely is impressive. I can imagine minifigs enjoying a sunny day at the park with the fountain in the middle, some people throwing in coins because it will fullfill their wishes I like the use of those horses too, since I have quite a few of them and can't find a way to use them . Nice work, looking forward to see more of you!

Whoa, I really like the modern architecture here! The small details and puns are cool too and well thought out . How long did it take to design it?

Nice update, I like the waterfall, but the tunnel entrance is what really catches my eye. Minifigs must be happy to live in your town

Whoa! I really like this, not only is the archictecture of the building very nice but the interior is extremely well thought out. Like the coins behind glass, the information desk, the various kinds of collumns (even a corinthian version!). As a history buff of the Roman era myself I'm really happy to see all these details made in Lego. Great job and hope to see more from you!

Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Brickviller V2 replied to Gearslover01's topic in LEGO Town
Nice! I'm looking forward to how it looks, maybe I can use the parts for my own station -
Nice! New trains are always welcome, hopefully the passenger train won't be white with a red stripe (again). The return of the Arctic subtheme is a nice suprise as well, since I missed most of the first release of the subtheme a couple of years back.

Nice! It's a lot better than Lego's own bus stops, which feel a little sparse.
-
Nice! I really like the classic style you use for your buildings, but with a twist by using modern day bricks and colors. Really looking forward how it will futher evolve
-
Thanks! I like the architecture as well
-
Thanks! Yeah the screenshot of the LDD version is a little bland though. I'm not sure if an overhead station would fit in with this style though, but maybe once the main building is finished I can add more buildigs/expansions to it.

Hi everyone, In this topic I wanted to show you all my progress on my first modular building for a new city called Canalview. Currently I lack the space to actually display a city, so I wanted to really take the time to design and create each building. The first one is a grand central station. In the past years I made several attempt to create such a building, of which some are more succesfull than others. Here's a quick summary of my earlier attempts: Canalview Grand Central Station 2017 After months of hard work, the station has finnaly been finished. More pictures below and here More pictures of the station (with interior) can be found here Older updates Update 26 November 2017 Update 17 September 2017 Update 26 August 2017 Update 14 August 2017 Update July 2017 Hope you all like it so far, please if you have any comments or tips feel free to post them

LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
Brickviller V2 replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
From what I know that was a custom made figure, but who knows -
Thanks! I ended up selling the original because I thought I wouldn't need it in the future (going into dark-age and all). I'm not really sorry for selling it though, because I kinda like my red version better. Thanks. Yup, I was considering making a blue version because that seemed cheaper than the red one. But where I live we don't have any blue trains, but do have red ones. Thanks! Yeah the station will get an interior, but work on it is really slow because of real life commitments. But yeah it will get an interior in time. Also the train lights arrived so it has front and back lights now. You can see it in this very professional photo :
