Speed Champions 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Town
Did the same on the previous one we got. Oh, yeah, I totally forgot about that set for some reason. Now I get what's going on with the wheels since it's essentially the same build recolored (oddly)...- 428 replies

S-W-O-O-S-H-Y!!! Man, that's some of the best-looking Classic Space eye candy I've seen in a little while now! I just love its tapered front, back, and swept-forward wings!

LEGO Star Wars 2019 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Digger of Bricks replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It wouldn't be the Falcon as a whole I'd want, just the canopy recolor to part out on BrickLink or elsewhere (as would be the case for many other fans besides myself). Like I'd said, it isn't unreasonable to expect such "glitches" from occasional Star Wars sets, especially in the case with a few of the previous "sequel trilogy" sets we've seen, so I personally don't think my dreams of such are that "fervent" so to speak. But, until our first images surface, I'll bite my tongue. -
I would certainly welcome that as well Now, as an alternative design for the archetype, I wouldn't at all mind seeing something rather akin to this instead:

Well, I highly doubt I'd be the only person who'd be interested in such a recolor... But, this is a Star Wars set discussion topic, and sets can also be discussed from an exploitable part-by-part bias rather than just as a static whole. I mean, given previous examples of such, there is legitimate reason to expect such parts from the Star Wars theme, right? -

LEGO Star Wars 2019 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

Issues like that could have arisen because of interior lighting of the cockpit of the craft in concept art. The falcon would definitely not get this treatment simply because Lego knows that it doesn't have such a windscreen or cockpit lighting. Was that really the case with that craft's concept art? I've always wistfully presumed it was mere improvisation on part of the set designers for certain ulterior motives... -
Sure, that's one direction Lego could go with the archetype, though I'd personally prefer staying within a Pulp-inspired timeframe for such a CMF. For instance, something more in the vein of Athena Voltaire would definitely be more up my alley!

The falcon never had a trans-yellow coloured canopy, it always appears trans-black or just black from the exterior Of course it never had such, but neither did the Resistance Transport Pod in The Last Jedi, yet Lego gave it one in 75176! -

By the way @Robert8, unless you already have such an archetype in the pipeline for an upcoming future Series, might I suggest a female counterpart to your Series Ñ Adventurer (i.e. an Adventuress).

your radar is so quick to pick these up... Heh, I just happened to be browsing the #legoleaks hashtag over on IG for the images of the D2C Jurassic Park set, when just then a couple of users there posted the catalog shots under the hashtag only a few minutes earlier... Yeah, I think they all look pretty decent considering, as my favorite of the three has to be Lucy and Mayhem's tandem starfighter.

Another torso purportedly from this set has just leaked, said to be for Joey Tribbiani's character. -
No, not quite, as it's the potential fate of these two upcoming sequel themes that concerns me much more, as they could be possibly going the same one-and-done route the Angry Birds Movie theme went. Put more simply, despite having no attachments to either franchise, I just want to see both the Trolls and Minions themes run at least two more years after their initial promotions of their respective sequels just for the sake of it, though I'm afraid I can't quite count on that...

Jurassic World 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
Ten thousand people asked for this. EXACTLY!!! I know, this set is bizarrely tone-deaf, yet cruelly ironic at the same time due to that long-rejected Ideas project from which this set is unmistakably inspired after. To add seeming insult to "injury" though, the biggest major omission the set has in light of the Ideas submission is the greatly-desired JP Explorer... Personally though, I think the set looks pretty freaking awesome if you were to separate it from the branding it sits under and all the cruel irony attached to it. If anything, the brick-built T-rex could've rather been a generic Creator Expert set by itself, more in line with @senteosan's alternate submission to such that also achieved ten-thousand supporters. In a way, it just would've been a hyperbolic Three-In-One Dinosaur set! LEGO Ideas - Bricksauria | Tyrannosaurus Rex -
