  1. So, it was headlined under the Jurassic World branding in the upper left-hand corner (next to LEGO's logo), whereas I'm presuming its Jurassic Park subtitling was then opposite in the bottom right-hand corner?
  2. Huh, how was the set branded? Jurassic Park or Jurassic World?
  3. Ah, that makes sense! Saw those just now, and they initially left me rather stumped as to what they may be.
  4. No, of course those three themes could never be under the same "roof" so to speak. More ideally, each of those respective themes could've rather been under a more broadly-encompassing Angry Birds line based upon the games (with tie-in sets for the Movie acting as a subtheme under that umbrella), a DreamWorks Animation theme, and Despicable Me/Minions theme. I mean, if only one particular facet of any of those franchises is financially viable in the short-term, why not seek out different IPs that have much more to offer for the long-run instead? Exactly, so why couldn't they just concentrate their efforts on delving further into Disney's back catalog for further one-off sets beyond the minidoll Princesses sets, rather than acquiring more inevitably disposable franchises? Even if Disney's Princesses are one of the few subfranchises that's sellable on a retailer-wide basis, I'm pretty sure at least several sets a year based upon other animated classics sold as LEGO Store/Shop at Home/Disney Store exclusives would do quite alright!

  6. Usually lists like this from small accounts are usually fake (remember the whole Disney series 2 list?) I have no idea if this list is fake or not but usually lists like this are made by small accounts to get attention Huh, have we ever had "fake lists" for previous non-licensed Series though?

  8. Well, I'm surprised though no other insider sources here has come to confirm or deny his claims (haven't heard anything yet @Falconfan1414?). I mean, perhaps the only thing that makes me doubt him is the inclusion of the Pizza Suit Guy, something many have been predicting since we first saw the Watermelon Suit Guy.
  9. Subjectively speaking, I strongly disagree, as I much rather prefer and hope to see the further introduction of longer-term, broadly-encompassing umbrella themes more akin to DC/Marvel SuperHeroes, City, Creator, the non-licensed Collectable Minifigure line, etc (something I really wish they'd do for Disney).
  10. Huh, Playmobil isn't exactly a construction toy, so their acquirement of the license shouldn't inhibit Lego, right? P.S. On a side note, I find it a little disheartening to see Playmobil incrementally going further down the licensed route...
  11. Looks like @Gbailey46 has a newly-submitted Ideas project readers here may be interested in... LEGO Ideas - Cosmic Hyper Cruiser
  12. Okay, I might as well expect PPG BrickHeadz sets in 2020. Sure, that seems quite likely; and come to think of it, perhaps it's somewhat unfair to compare PPG to The Last Airbender theme, as Lego has technically done four tie-in products for the franchise if you're to count the two Dimensions packs that preceded the playsets. It did with the Hobbit - the sets came out at similar times to the movies. And presumably the studios or LEGO thought that it would be a good idea to do LOTR as well - there were loads of LOTR MOCs at the time and I imagine LEGO was aware of this. IJ and POTC (at least for me) have much more longevity as a series than, for example, Despicable Me. In the same way as Star Wars is THE classic Space Opera, they are essentially THE historical action man and THE pirate franchise. People still buy merchandise for both franchises, and it is aimed at slightly older audiences. LEGO went all in to do them. Whereas with Trolls and Minions, I imagine they are just going for the short-lived movie tie-in and that's it. A lot of minions products got treated as essentially line clearance after the movies. If they do Gru and half a dozen minions connected with the new movie, I'm not sure what of the back catalogue they'd really want to do to make even more sales. Again, irrespective of my own or others' feelings for either franchise, I'm hoping that TLG do have longer term plans for both the Trolls and Minions lines if they're moderately successful, as I'd personally find it disheartening to see Lego contented with releasing product lines that have no aspirations for the long run.
  13. Well, now that user is saying that there should be at least "some sort of space character" as he put it: Regarding the latter statement about historical/fantasy representation, I'm not quite sure if he's certain about such or if he's just presuming it'll be the case.
  14. Apparently, it's supposed to be inspired after her "Golden Eagle" armor from the comics:
  15. BTW, are you already aware of these recently aforementioned topics, speaking of such?
  16. Say, would it perhaps be a good idea to give EB members who are currently or once were product designers for The LEGO Group a rank of their own? Unless a mere tag would be sufficient enough, there are a few currently employed set designers here on Eurobricks that I know of, and a rank similar to ones designated for TLG Representatives and Ambassadors would be quite honorary for those members!
  17. Speaking of The Powerpuff Girls, I would really like to see sets based on the classic 1998 TV series with Classic variants of Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup minifigures! I just hope LEGO plans to use the PPG license again. Well, did it even seem like they had plans for further sets beyond those two last year? With nothing heard for such since then, I believe that may be the first licensed theme since Avatar: The Last Airbender to receive no more than two sets.
  18. Oh, I know there was never any Anubis figure for the first Adventurers sets as we know them, as it's merely speculated that this could be test mold for a headgear part that didn't make the final cut into those sets. But, I do see your point regarding complexities this prototype mold has, though I still think it looks too big and blocky to have been made in mind for the Pharaoh's Quest theme. I don't know, maybe it was rather made for Studios? It does somewhat remind me of that theme's blocky-looking headgear for Frankenstein's Monster and the Wolf Man.
  19. AMEN TO THAT!!!
  20. My guess is there'll be nothing particularly special like that for Series 19, as they'll more likely reserve such for 2020's presumed Series 20 instead, given that the latter will be releasing on the Collectable Minifigure line's tenth anniversary and all. Oh, welcome to Eurobricks BTW!!!

  22. Well to me, the mold's shaping looks characteristic to the late '90s, though its color seems to suggest otherwise.
  23. Ah, alright... ...well, how 'bout this?
  24. Where is it? Are you talking the storage container that was released as a mummy coffin? Huh, it was an Instagram post, one that's not embedding properly... ...well, here's the non-embedded link at least: https://www.instagram.com/p/ByNYLRjobBTzsS1Y9DCgoHZULbWS_fvlHIKhGs0/
