Yeah, my concern for such was a bit rash, as it was only a day or two later after I "panicked" that those media outlets I'd initially mentioned started taking questions from readers to ask designers at the event (which interestingly enough took place a week earlier than the usual end of the month). Well, nonetheless, here's a newly shared interview from then by @Zusammengebaut with LEGO Harry Potter Design Lead @marcosbessa you may likely be interested in!

Disney Princesses 2019 - Rumors & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Licensed
My guess is that the modified hairpiece is a stand-in for the minidoll one that perhaps isn't available on the design software he used. ...one of many Disney's reportedly tinkered with over the years. First it was the scraped Japanese-inspired Order of Seven adaptation, then the yet-to-be-confirmed Rose Red "backstory" sequel(ish) purportedly staring Brie Larson, now finally just settling on a straight-up remake of the '37 classic (again). -
Future LEGO Pirates Set Speculation
Digger of Bricks replied to David Thomsen's topic in LEGO Pirates
Plus, I'd also wish and hope to see some gargantuan, fantastical brick-built sea monsters from the next in-house Pirates theme as antagonists, not just merely a "throw-a-octopus-into-a-set-and-call-it-a-day" Kraken. Well, one way of going about that issue is to have the next theme's protagonists instead be a small band of young, Eighteenth Century treasure-seekers, while the actual Pirates would rather be the theme's antagonists opposite to them. -

[MOC] Return of the ADVENTURERS
Digger of Bricks replied to Graupensuppe's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
YOU BET!!! (Though my ideal revival of such would likely be a bit more fantastical than some may wish for... ) I must say, your Ideas project is very nicely composed in concept, and quite surprising to see as there hardly any Adventurers-themed/inspired submissions out there to begin with. I mean, there are plenty of Classic Space, Castle, and Pirates-inspired project to go around, but Adventurers... Not that I personally consider it to be such, but Lego may currently consider the Jurassic World theme to be sufficient enough in those regards. -
Future LEGO Pirates Set Speculation
Digger of Bricks replied to David Thomsen's topic in LEGO Pirates
Besides Islanders, yeah, it is rather surprising that all of Lego's previous in-house Pirate lines have pitted their titular characters only against Imperial Armadas. I mean, even simple rival pirates would've been interesting for a change, as in that they don't even need to be ghostly/undead! -

LEGO Ideas Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Congratulations @paokus!!! The Brick Fan - LEGO Ideas History Museum Achieves 10,000 Supporters -
Like Lara Croft/Nathan Drake, but in a Indiana Jones period/setting. At least that's what I have in mind, because I haven't made her yet Oooooh, I'm already liking the sound of that...
-
It reached 10000 in about two months and therefor seems to the fastest ever to get through that fase in lego ideas. Will definitely buy one although it might get sized down a bit like they did with the flintstones... Congrats @paokus Just today, another project of his just achieved support, making it his second submission to do so... LEGO Ideas - History Museum Here's another round of congrats to you once again @paokus!!!
-
SWEET!!! P.S. Unless you wish to keep it a surprise until then, will she be more modern like Lara Croft, or more period-set/pulp like Indiana Jones?
-
That looks awesome over a head with the headsock design, as @Digger of Bricks and I both hope for, I hope they use it for a retro spaceman in a CMF Damn, awesome is an understatement, the helmet paired with Buzz's headsocked head is PERFECT!!! Now I'm convinced that this is indeed the mold Lego just needs to use for an Atompunk-style Retro Space Explorer CMF!!! Thank you so much @Bornin1980something for so promptly testing out that new piece for such!!! Does it perhaps work with TLBM Mr. Freeze's body armor by any chance (if you have the piece)?

Say, have you yet seen @Ashnflash's latest CMF Draft?

DC Super Heroes (& LEGO Batman Movie) General Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
It was the big batmobile that was designed for Lego movie 2 but was cut out from the movie Ah, that's right! Only just an hour ago I was reminded of that after it was clarified in Mark's other interview on the set with New Elementary: -

Here's another interview with @Nabii on the set, this time with @caperberry's New Elementary alongside @marcosbessa! New Elementary - 75936 JURASSIC PARK T. REX RAMPAGE: DESIGNER INTERVIEW WITH MARK STAFFORD & MARCOS BESSA Hey man, as soon as I saw you handle the T-Rex build in @Zusammengebaut's interview with you, I was utterly sold, as my seven year-old self would've just loved the heck out of this set back then!!! Granted, I do somewhat feel though its overall reception from the rest of the community could've been a bit more positive if just the T-Rex build was instead introduced as a standalone Creator Expert set, something you mentioned in the above stated interview that Mike Psiaki was hoping to see happen. Oh, also, it was interesting to read in your other interview with New Elementary about this set's relationship with @senteosan's LEGO Ideas project(s): -

Digger of Bricks replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
In an interview with @Zusammengebaut on the upcoming 75936 Jurassic Park: T. Rex Rampage, @Nabii says at the 0:40 second mark that this is the first D2C he's designed after his "big Batmobile didn't make it" back then. Does anyone know what he's referring to??? -

LEGO Star Wars 2019 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Digger of Bricks replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Umm, no. This is not the place for wish-listing. Wish-listing is not set discussion. Stay on target. Alright, sorry about that. May I ask though, is there a separate topic for just speculation on 2019 Star Wars sets?
