  1. Why haven't they made that double studded neck bracket part in any solid color yet? It's just weird in transparent.
  2. Does anyone think that the next Space subtheme could travel outside of Earth's orbit? If the latest Arctic Exploration subtheme can incorporate Mammoths, Tigers, and Cavemen into its narrative, why can't we have a Mars Exploration line for City? Of course, it doesn't (and shouldn't) have to have rayguns and aliens, just good old fashion, plausible extraterrestrial exploration! Take this recent Mega Construx set as a example of what sort of sets such a line could be comprised of: Mega Construx - ProBuilder | Space Rover Expedition
  3. I have to agree about the cost, as that is a rather high price par part ratio. I mean, US $34.99 for only 230 parts?
  4. You know guys, I think there's a good chance that we just might see our first teaser trailer for the sequel to The Lego Movie some time next week. Its co-writter Chris Miller (co-director for the first movie) promoted it on Twitter yesterday in anticipation of the release of Ready Player One. Screen Rant - LEGO Movie 2 Co-Writer Pokes Fun At Ready Player One Back in late March of 2016, we saw our first teaser for The Lego Batman Movie attached to Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice; so there may be a possibility that we'll have our first look at the sequel if its teaser may be attached to Ready Player One, which is releasing around the same time as BvS did back in 2016. Again, this teaser release is just a hunch of mine, but we may see very soon here how spacey this sequel will be if our first look is right around the corner. If the teaser doesn't show that off immediately, then I think the movie may not be as spaced-up as we hope it will be.
  5. Considering it uses only preexisting parts, I think it turned out pretty sweet!

  8. Certainly! A lot of them could definitely use some upgraded parts, prints, and dual molding!
  9. BioShock Infinite: Bank of the Prophet by Imagine Rigney EXO-Friend by Tyler Sky H-44 Blue Lightning by JonHall18 An instant architectural favorite. I don't believe I've ever seen a modular creation that makes usage of arch brick 87559. I'm a sucker for MOCs that use that part!
  10. I know Batfleck has little cowl ears, but they're almost nonexistent on his BrickHeadz caricature.
  11. An Indiana Jones Collectable Minifigure series? Oh yeah, that would be seriously awesome, and considering all the characters that didn't have a chance to be caricatured as minifigures the first time around...
  12. If they do make such a people pack, they really should make a Ski Lodge playset to complement it!
  13. If you haven't already, you should also check out his other work. Flickr - Vince_Toulouse | Albums
  14. Oh yes indeed, but there is so much more to feast your eyes upon here! Particularly, I think the pairing of Cool Yellow with Earth Green on the Florist's looks really pretty, and I love the bricked-up door and structural cracks on the rear of the first floor of the Steakhouse! Ooooh, now there's another beauty!
  15. Oh yeah, this is simply the best selection out of the three, and you just can't beat that Monotone Hotel by @RoxYourBlox! But, all in all, another really great post filled with plentiful inspiration here! By the way, I saw your reaction to Filip Olin's latest modular over on Flickr, and I can't help but be just as enthusiastic! He's got some great mini modulars too!
  16. They're probably pretty tiny too, which is a good thing!
  17. You're most welcome!
  18. The Brothers Brick - LEGO BrickHeadz 41597 Go Brick Me customization kit [Review] OK then, thanks though!
  19. Check out the sticker sheet that comes with the upcoming Go Brick Me custom BrickHeadz set! The Brothers Brick - LEGO BrickHeadz 41597 Go Brick Me customization kit [Review]
  20. There's already a well established topic on this over on the Town subforum:
  21. There's that too, a line of microscale Disney Theme Park locations, architecture, and attractions! Not a bad idea for a series of promotional sets!
  22. Solar Skiff Luxury Yacht by Shawn Davis F-09 Trident by @Sylon Unnamed by Jeff Friesen Oh yeah, Sand Green mindblowing! It definitely is one of his more untypical ones, as he usually builds fighter planes. But, it's still Sky-Fi nonetheless.
  23. Kinda like these perhaps? Yeah, a broadly encompassing licensed Architecture line would be AWESOME. Gotham City or Metropolis anyone?
  24. By the way, Instagram user Jeff Friesen has announced in his latest post, that he will be sharing instructions of his microscale skylines in a new book to be releasing this fall! Also, he's shared an image of slightly updated Steampunk architectural creation of his from earlier, as seen below: Strangely, he usually deletes posts of the prior iterations of his micro skylines; so, while there's no longer a image of the first iteration of this Steampunk vignette, there is one that is seen as a thumbnail in this Year in Review post:
  25. Sweet, it's a perfect combination! The pairing of those two reminds me of this guy's Sci-Fi creation, only that the lighter blue is Medium Azure instead of Dark Azure. Flickr - SL20 Streamliner by Vincent Gachod By the way, do you also have a Flickr page? I've never seen your work before until this morning, and I'll just say, I really dig your Umbrella Bank too!
