  1. Well, don't get me wrong, I do think Mr. Incredible could use a new torso design, just not one that is that specific and specialized. Preferably, I'd want to see a new torso piece which more resembles the standard one, but is a wider, upside-down incarnation of the original. It just seems more consistent that way, if you can imagine what I'm talking about.

  3. So, it's Ötzi the Ice-Minifig? Clever.
  4. Venom 3 by Daniel Jassim LL-17 Planetary Scout Vehicle by Jack Sparrow FrZ-129 Airborne Aircraft Carrier by Tommaso Ferrarese Its grill is what drew me to it, especially since it utilized one of those stickered wing parts from a SW Ep. III Jedi Starfighter set. Its retro, raygun-esque turbine engines were also really cool. It is from Super Mario 3, or does it resemble something from that game? Yeah, I know, but I couldn't help but be impressed by their excellent usage of Technic parts! I love how he even threw in some brick built AA batteries in there!
  5. It's kinda weird, as I can't find any other news sites reporting on this, but this Daily Mail article says Daniel Radcliffe (a.k.a. Harry Potter) will be staring in this Playmobil cinematic movie. Daily Mail - GIRL ABOUT TOWN: Harry Potter Star Daniel Radcliffe Agrees to Role in a New Film... About Children's Toys Playmobil This isn't a joke by any chance is it?
  6. So I finally watched Star Wars: The Last Jedi two nights ago, and without getting into the specifics that have already been addressed and discussed by so many already, it overall left me with rather mixed feelings. Though I can't say I was ever bored, it just seemed to go on forever I thought, jumping back and forth between the different situations.
  7. Pieces? Do you just mean minifigures, or are you also referring to parts in terms of construction?
  8. I did eventually find it, and to me, it looks like a BigFig with a minifigure head slapped onto it. I glad something like that wasn't made for the physical sets, as it just looks way too aesthetically inconsistent to standard minifigures.

  10. That's a pretty sweet mech! Any reasons for the choice of color scheme perhaps?
  11. Over on Instagram, there's a leaked image of a minidoll from an upcoming Disney Princess set based upon the Tangled TV series. The character it's based upon is named Cass, and she wears a rather nice new hairpiece mold in Black with a Superman-esque curl.
  12. OK, I just found the promo image myself, and... No, not loving that BigFig-esque torso of Mr. Incredible's.
  13. Well, like I said regarding his helmet...
  14. So, the mask fits on around the neck by a bracket? Huh? Does it perhaps resemble an upside down minifigure torso?
  15. With that little curl on her forehead, it's almost like a feminine Superman hairpiece. To me, her eyes just look too big and sparkly for a minidoll.
  16. Hey, that's a rather cool sounding idea!
  17. Another character I'd like to see as a minifigure would be of Ted Knight's Starman, who also wears a rather retro-esque helmet. Unlike Adam Strange, Starman's helmet has forward leaning crest, much more like the helmet Lego made for the S17 Retro Spaceman. Therefore, I think Lego could easily get by giving an official Ted Knight Starman minifigure an appropriate recolor of the Retro Spaceman CMF's helmet.
  18. I can't find it there now, but there was an image on Instagram which had a close up of this villain in the cockpit of his helicopter, and it gave you a pretty good look at his new headgear part. Yes, it was what looked like a helmet with not only googles, but also a small, Vader-esque face grill sitting below the googles as another molded feature.
  19. Damn, those gigantic, steal beam like forearms paired with those stocky legs make for some awesomely comical proportions! Excellent find! WHOA! Instant favorite! Here are even more raygun creations, this time from others: Call of Duty Zombies: Ray Gun by Nick Brick Saboteur 67 Ultra Wave Equaliser by Grantmasters Steam Punk Ray Gun by Johathan Samson
  20. OK @danth, here are a few Steampunk submersible creations I quickly dug up under a quick Flickr search: STEAMarine by @marcosbessa SS Melanocetus by Andreas Lenander Her Majesty's Submersible Atlantica by Rod Gillies My favorite creation of his is still his Serrated Night 3V; but yeah, all of his creations are just mindblowing! 21. A submarine that flies by @Vanocean117 Ataraxis by Nick Trotta Bentley Neo and Fantasmagorical by LegoGallifrey Oh yeah, there are a lot of submersibles among Steampunk Lego creations, naturally as a result of Jules Verne's classic. I try to dig some more up in the future.
  22. Interesting indeed, but in a weird way.
  23. And I'm glad they did! Otherwise, we would've had a stretchy version of either Mrs. Incredible or Elastagirl without a normal armed variant. So, choosing one of those variants for both sets as both versions is better than one without the other.
