What future LEGO Movies would you like to see happen?
Digger of Bricks replied to Realshow's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I like the idea, but personally, I'd much rather have a sequel to The Lego Batman Movie be a Lego Justice League Movie as opposed to simply The Lego Batman Movie 2, just for the sake of keeping the first film titularly singular in a way. Perhaps you could have two parallel running crises going on in such a movie, that being Robin going his own way and Batman trying to reconnect with an estranged Justice League by attempting to prove to them that he's changed for the better, despite their doubts.- 97 replies

Perhaps it's a new Mixels-like line? That theme was technically a constraction line, though I'd hope for something less goofy if that were to be the case.

This beauty was discussed on another topic by @JEB314 (James) just a little while ago, but I'd like to highlight this Earth Blue, Polish streamlined steam locomotive by @solic once again... Flickr - LEGO Pm36-1 Steam Locomotive

Lego City 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to TheArturro's topic in LEGO Town
When I hear harvester, I typically think of agriculture, and not lumber exactly. But, having said that, I'm not sure for certain if that's used exclusively for agricultural subjects, so... -
Personally, I don't dislike one over the other, but their incompatibility still annoys me to a slight degree, probably less so now though than in the past.

If we are to presume that this could be a System-based action/adventure theme, could 41973 priced at $5.99 be some sort of Airjitzu/Speedorz gimmick set? Same here pretty much, though I doubt this information is at all fake.

That's how I usually feel about it, primarily since they automatically make the figures incompatible with one's from other themes. I mean, it's bad enough that in-house and licenced themes have the skin-tone discrepancy.

I'll welcome any space-centric sets to the Creator theme if it acts as a stepping stone towards full-on SPACESHIP! sets for the theme, if you know what I mean.

That's what I'm sort of wondering may be the case, not to mention that Ninjago also looks to have a partial absence early next year by rereleasing some of their earlier sets. But, having said that, would The Lego Movie 2's tie-in sets really benefit from a lack of in-house action/adventure themes? In other words, would they suffer from their presence, hence a need to push them aside for awhile? Honestly, the more I think about it, I'm thinking not, as the sequel's tie-in sets are more akin to a licensed theme than an in-house one; so, if anything, moving those three action/adventure themes out of the way for now may mean they're instead making room for a new "big bang" theme. Heh, perhaps that may seriously be the case, if Lego were that snarky.

Lego City 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to TheArturro's topic in LEGO Town
Speculation primarily, on part of a Great Vehicle set rumored for 2019 (60223 Harvester Transport). Well, we now know that perhaps Creator will have something like that for next year, a set by the name of 31091 Shuttle Transporter. -

Are we quite certain that these numbers are definitely for an in-house theme, and not some sort of licensed line, whether it be new or preexisting? I'm not even holding my breath for this to be an in-house theme, as I'm expecting for it at the worst to be just another licensed line. But, I'm at least crossing my fingers, especially for a return to Adventurers.

Starship Captain * Gender: Female. Occupation/print on torso: Earth Blue pantsuit jacket with Pearl Gold pinstriping on sleeves, Classic Space logo on the upper left side of the jacket. Type of headgear: Superman's classic hairpiece recolored in Light Bluish Grey. Type of facial expression: Confident, determined smile. Color on torso/legs: Light Bluish Grey with Pearl Gold pinstriping on the sides. Accessory: New, 1960's "phaser" styled handgun mold in Metallic Silver. Starfighter Pilot Gender: Male. Occupation/print on torso: Earth Blue torso printed with Dark Bluish Grey harnessed vest with instrument panel just up underneath neck. Also, Classic Space logos printed on the upper halves of both arms. Type of headgear: Elite Ultra Agents helmet recolored in Earth Blue with Pearl Gold visor. Type of facial expression: Cocky, stubborn grin. Color on torso/legs: Dual molded Earth Blue legs with continuation of torso's harness prints and Dark Bluish Grey boots. Accessory: S1 Spaceman's raygun in Metallic Silver with Trans-Yellow 318 bar (Lightsaber length). * This is a revised take on an eariler suggestion I'd made. Personally, I'm surprised that we haven't yet seen any sort of postal worker archetype done for the Collectable Minifigure line.

LEGO Elves 2018
Digger of Bricks replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
You know what's rather strange though, is that with Nexo Knights ended for sure, signs pointing to Elves seemingly heading towards the same fate, and Ninjago looking to be rereleasing some of their earliest sets, 2019 will somewhat be without an original in-house action/adventure theme. Having said that though, perhaps we still may be surprised to learn that Elves will continue for a fifth year, as it's fourth year was certainly a surprise, given that many presumed that it'd only run an obligatory three-year run.- 568 replies

Lego City 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to TheArturro's topic in LEGO Town
Seeing that "Sky Police" is definitely a City subtheme rather than an action theme, I'm now wondering what exactly it may be. Is it perhaps an airport security subtheme? What exactly is the ninety dollar "Air Base" suppose to be? An airport? A mobile command base in the form of a cargo plane? A helicarrier? * * Just joking about that last suggestion. -
That what I was ecstatically hoping for, but as @Feng-huang0296 had mentioned over on the 2019 LEGO City topic, it may just be for Lego's next iteration of the Police subtheme.
