  1. I would love that. Would give me so many more options to design my city layout.
  2. New fire station looks awful. Very glad I picked up 60110.
  3. I hate stud shooters. Just an easy way to lose pieces or hit someone in the eye. They also look terribly unproportional.
  4. We got an exclusive train in 2011 & 2015 so we should be due. That was when Toys R Us was in business though.
  5. Yeah, even with that people still insist they'll retire in order though.
  6. At least we can finally put to rest the theory that the modulars retire in order. Also, Parisian Restaurant and Detective's office are more expensive than the Diner and Brick Bank in the UK. It's the opposite in the US.
  7. I don't have room for much so the only set I'll get from this wave will probably be the diving boat. Looks solid but nothing special. Harvester transport looks good but I don't really have room for it in my city.
  8. LEGO never has sales on the expensive sets. Best bet is getting it now with the double points or waiting for the Diagon Alley giveaway and reselling that.
  9. When someone has new information they will post about it. No point in asking every few days.
  10. I think DO and BB will be retired before PR. DO and BB have both been on sale recently. PR hasn't.
  11. That's crazy. I have a 17 month old and I can't imagine him building anything. He did enjoy watching me play with the arocs though.
  12. Claas is available at Amazon for $146
  13. Got a little room in my budget. Already collect the main Technic flagships, but torn between the "UCS" Super Car's or medium sized models like the Claas, Mack, and this. I want to wait til photos of this come out but I'm wondering if 42056 will be gone by then.
  14. Yep. At least with the flex track you could put a 2x16 plate on them to make them a straight.
  15. Are the road plates identical?
  16. Any guesses on how long this will be around? It was out of stock for a bit and now it's back. Debating on if I should buy now or wait for double Vip.
  17. How long does everyone see this theme sticking around? They can only do so many rides. I suppose they can just start over with the Ferris Wheel and Carousel in 5-10 years though.
  18. I only buy the flagship sets. My budget is about $1,000 annually and between modulars, trains, fairgrounds and technic flagships I have about $150ish left. I am torn between buying the Super Car's (about $150-$175 per year avg since they come out every 2 years, or buying a medium/large sized set like the Claas or Mack) each year. I change my mind daily it seems. Any advice is appreciated.
  19. I will admit I always complain about stickers and say I'd be willing to pay more for printed pieces and I'm still complaining, so there's that.
  20. There is $24.96 worth of PF in the set, and that's based on buying the items individually. Even if you subtract the PF, it comes to 21.3 cents a piece which is absolutely insane.
  21. It was also age 9+ back then too. Now it's 12+. I guess kids 10 years later aren't quite as smart.
  22. $200 is ridiculous for that set. I was expecting $120 or $150.
  23. I'd be surprised if they were re-releasing the Vestas Wind Turbine and Green Grocer around the same time. Also, I highly doubt the LEGO store employees know anything.
  24. I haven't seen it on sale here in the US at all
