  1. I didn't realize there was a type of ride called a "discovery swing". Makes sense that it would only be a little over 1000 pieces as there isn't that much to it.
  2. What are everyone's thoughts on the UCS sets for 2019? My guesses would be an A-Wing and a Star Destroyer.
  3. 10213 Space Shuttle Adventure had 1204 pieces. Perhaps this is the Discovery shuttle? If you remove the base and the unnecessary (imo) accessories it would likely be around 1087 pieces.
  4. From the Fairgrounds thread: 10266 (Discovery Expert) 1087 pieces 16+ 10267 (Seasonal Expert) 1477 pieces 12+ 10269 (Vehicle Expert) 1023 pieces 16+ 71044 (Disney) 2925 pieces 12+ 75244 (Star Wars) 1768 pieces $199,99 75252 (Star Wars) 4782 pieces $499,99 16+ October 75936 (Jurassic World) 3120 pieces 16+ July 76139 (Batvehicle) ???? pieces The Death Star and Betrayal at Cloud City were both 14+. I don't collect Star Wars as of now due to lack of room but I would surely find room for a $500 AT-AT UCS...
  5. It says 1023 pieces and EN was 1087 so that's a no. Hoping for a new steam engine still though.
  6. Those were both Toys R Us exclusives. So who knows.
  7. I am hoping it's an Emerald Night re-release. Original had 1085 pieces and this has 1087...I have absolutely no idea though.
  8. Anybody figure out how to put lights in this model?
  9. Have a question regarding battery box access. Going to have this on top of a 4x4 kallax which is 58" off the ground. Is the battery box going to be very difficult to reach? My other option would be to locate it in the front to the right of the transfer track. If I did that, would a 20" extension be needed or would the 8" suffice?
  10. I'd prefer this. The car carrier would serve better as a mid-range model ($180ish).
  11. Car Transporter for a flagship seems odd
  12. I would hate it if LEGO got rid of printed manuals. I don't want to have to have my laptop handy to build a set, I also like having a huge collection of manuals. I'm fine with the PDF for the B Models though.
  13. You can just make the remote so the - is on the top and the + is on the bottom. Still annoying.
  14. What do you guys think is the better buy right now? Maersk of Emerald? I think the chances of a re-release for the Maersk are limited to none, especially since they don't even make the Maersk blue anymore, while the EN re-release chances are much better. EN also optimally needs multiple carriages which is not doable with the aftermarket prices now. Thoughts? I want both eventually but I'm wondering which to go for first.
  15. $50 lol. The 60197 will be on sale from $100-120 soon I'm sure and it comes with a 676 piece LEGO train set.
  16. No issues here. I would try taking it apart and completely rebuilding it.
  17. It hasn't even went on sale yet. I imagine it has to be selling alright.
  18. Seems like the 1H sets are always pretty weak. Good stuff usually comes out in August.
  19. That set was leaked as the new modular last year too. It's fake.
  20. I would think that a modular re-release would be GG or CC as well
  21. I may just do a custom red or blue one and replace the carriage windows with the standard non-train ones. Buying through Bricklink is extremely frustrating though. The train chassis for the carriage on auto select was going to be $25 when bricks & pieces has them for $2.45. Looks like I'll just have to manually add everything through b&p and get the rest from BL.
  22. What do you think the chances we ever see this set re-released are? I am debating dropping $300 on a used set. I wasn't into LEGO in 2009 so I really don't know if this set sold well. I know it's one of the most sought after in the AFOL community though.
  23. A garage would work fine if the building was taller, but then it wouldn't fit in with the others.
  24. New year, same complaints from people who haven't even seen the photos yet.
