  1. I feel they would be more successful releasing 1 modular on a 32x32 and another one on a 16x32 rather than doing another 32x48.
  2. Wouldn't the flagship be released in August and be much more expensive than $150?
  3. I think the road plates will be the same, just paired differently. Kind of how they re-released the train tracks and switch tracks. Same parts, different allotment.
  4. Thanks for the info! I'll be getting the garbage truck for sure. Possibly the diving yacht. Don't really have room for the other ones unless they blow me away.
  5. On Amazon.co.uk the weight and dimensions for the straight & T-road plates 60236 are much different than the current ones. I wonder if that is accurate.
  6. I am hoping they just decide to re-release the current ones in different pairings. That would really help out my city.
  7. Make a Master Builder Series Mos Espa Podrace set.
  8. I have no actual info, but if I had to guess I would say a UCS in May and a MBS in October each year. Or alternate October release between UCS and MBS. I would imagine they would have to make smaller MBS sets to release one each year though.
  9. It doesnt have the display plaque so I would consider it mbs.
  10. I hope it's like that too, for the sole fact of saving me some money as I only collect UCS. I find it hard to believe they can support releasing a $350+ MBS set each year though. I suppose they could do some smaller builds ($200ish range).
  11. ***Didn't realize this was posted in it's own thread*** LEGO released a statement on Master Builder Series: 'The Master Builder Series models are large playsets and beside being complex builds they are characterised by having many play features and functions, interior details as well as a range of minifigures. Ultimate Collectors series [sic] will remain highly detailed display models providing complex builds with a focus on authenticity and both Ultimate Collectors Series and Master Builder Series will continue as a way to highlight the unique characteristic of each style of model.' Most of us felt this way when Cloud City was released. I like the change. I wonder if they will do 1 of each per year or if it will be random like the last few years.
  12. Just saw a leaked image of the new advent calendar. Pretty uneventful except for the new General Merrick minifig. Blue leader from Rogue One.
  13. We probably won't know for sure until the May 2019 UCS set (or MBS) is revealed.
  14. It doesn't make much sense to get rid of the UCS tag. It does make sense to separate the playsets and display models though.
  15. Sure hope not. If that's the case I better clear some room in my budget to finish my city roads.
  16. While I do feel Hogwarts is a much better deal, it's not really fair to compare the piece counts since BACC has a ton of minifigs and large pieces while Hogwarts has 4 minifigs anda ton of small pieces.
  17. I wonder what the next playset will be. I don't think they'll do 1 per year since they would run out of ideas pretty fast. Only thing I can really think of would be Geonosis arena/droid factory. Maybe Coruscant.
  18. Agreed. They aren't going to release 3 sets priced at $200+ in 1 year.
  19. I have no interest in buying it as I only buy the display UCS sets, but as a playset I like it.
  20. It's not meant for display. It's a playset.
  21. I would be pretty surprised if LEGO released another $200 fairground set this year. Star Wars UCS has the popularity to support 2 large annual releases but I don't feel Fairgrounds does. Who knows though.
  22. That actually makes a lot more sense. It would tie in greatly with the new Train set as well.
  23. Looks like they are pairing the straights with T's (which is very awesome). I would imagine they stay the same.
  24. They already did one in Cafe Corner though. I would be shocked if the next one is a hotel.
