  1. Well then check out the link I left previously on this thread! You can share your thoughts and ideas on what you would like for a creator based classic space set there, and have it brought forward to the design team by Jim.
  2. Looks good! Hopefully the mask mold can be reused for Captain America.
  3. Wow! Just WOW!!! This is so impressive!!! I can't wait to see the final result! For the trains that run under the display, are there going to be mountain sides? Thumbs up.
  4. I think the holiday train was a expert series train.
  5. That's a great racing truck! Looking forward to more of your models. Thumbs up.
  6. (ALERT!) Calling all SciFi fans! Jim will be interviewing creator expert designers at the end of this month and is seeking opinions, ideas, suggestions, and questions regarding the Lego creator theme! You can find the thread here. If you wish to see creator based classic space sets, nows your chance to share your thoughts and hopefully make my it happen! Thank you. LMF
  7. Hey danth! You made some great points and suggested some really good ideas on my thread, "a opinion on classic space themes", and I thought I'd give you a heads up about a thread started by Jim on the special themes forum. Jim will be interviewing some creator expert designers, and was looking for some questions and suggestions from the fans on what to ask. It would be a great time for us the fans to give our two cent's on the subject! Thanks.
  8. Thanks man! Here's a link to my thread which has gained some modest popularity. And thank you Jim for bringing this to light to the creator experts!
  9. Thank you so much!!! Yes I checked the thread that you mentioned, and all looks spiffy! Super awesome of Jim to start that thread for us fans! And thank you again!
  10. Keep in mind that most 9V track comes in old dark grey, with some being made in dark bley before Lego discontinued 9V. But of course, 9V and pf track are compatible with each other.
  11. (1) This is awesome!!! Great build! Thumbs up (2) Great storyline! One of the coolest things about classic space is the brilliant storylines created by the fans!
  12. That would be cool, but I'm not sure it would work geometry wise.
  13. Cool, thanks. I was hoping for nexogons, but it appears Lego is still using them elsewhere. Which is good cause it means Lego won't discontinue the part anytime soon.
  14. 9V is the easiest. But once you get over the fact that the battery box and receiver are large and possibly difficult to work with, you'll find that the pf system is the answer. It's efficient, and the possibilities don't stop at the premade train motor. M, L, and XL motors can also be used to add locomotion to your trains, as well as a variety of other functions. The pf system can also be used for different forms of locomotion, such as monorails. Masao Hidaka on YouTube makes some fantastic monorails, which are entirely custom built including the track! Here's his YouTube channel. https://m.youtube.com/#/user/MasaoHidaka Hope this helps.
  15. I love all the colors! Most people do two or three majority colors, but you've accomplished this very well. Thumbs up. Though IMO, it really needs to be a bicycle shop being Dutch.
  16. This looks great! Telephone wires add so much detail to models like these. The unpainted bricks look great on the outside, and while I'm not much of a hotrod or car fan, the pickup truck looks perfect. Thumbs up.
  17. These are great! I would have never considered this as an option. The pickup truck would have to be my favorite! Thumbs up. Are you planning on doing this with other sets? That would be awesome!
  18. Question. (1) Is this list of parts constantly being updated with new parts being added every now and then? (2) Are these components mostly minifig related or are there "licensed" parts such as printed bricks and pieces, and parts and colors unique to some sets as of the time being?
  19. Well maybe it doesn't operate on the track like the real thing, but I'm sure its a fun and very rewarding challenge once accomplished
  20. When I saw the first pic, which was from a distance, it looked very blah. But up close, I then noticed the great details put into the wheel bases and I was like "WOW!". And that pic of it going around the curves? Crazy! I'd love to see a video of it running! Four thumbs up. (My big toes helped out.)
  21. Whoa! This is awesome! Is this puristic? Looks like it. Thumbs up.
