Since there is such a market for it, I'm surprised Lego hasn't made wider curve track pieces. And you don't have to be a adult to want them. If I was 8 year old I would want them! LMF

The Future of Lego Space. (opinions, ideas, discussion)
Trekkie99 replied to Trekkie99's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I liked galaxy squad as well, but classic space and the themes that came off of it such as Mtron and blacktron are in a way "boring", but that's sort of the whole point. Look at model trains, doesn't get more "boring" then that. But it depends on what ones idea of boring is. Do you like big, crazy movies with drama, action, explosions, deception, etc.? Cause you won't find that in model trains. Now classic space does have it's own plots which are often times written by the fans, but to understand them you have to be realistic and think about what it would be like living in space and-or colonizing an empty planet which has no atmosphere. (Figuratively and literally). You get the idea. Just my opinion. LMF- 991 replies

The Future of Lego Space. (opinions, ideas, discussion)
Trekkie99 replied to Trekkie99's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Yes, but the "flying cars" and "space garbage trucks" was a idea for the "civilians factor". And realize much of this would take place on some sort of fictional planet. Meanwhile, things like exploration would be taking place as well elsewhere. It doesn't have to be one or the other, it can be both. LMF- 991 replies

Beyond Technic

Yes, Lego's neutral stance on war is very important. I for one respect their stance on the issue, and for Lego to stick to it in this day in age makes them a real gem! JMT LMF -

Great setup! Shunting trains are my favorite! Thumbs up. LMF -
Very nice! Since this model uses so many of them, might I ask what you call the pieces that make up the bulk of the structure? I've always called them "brick bricks". Two thumbs up on your model! LMF
