  1. Alright, I will put your name down for framework. As for communication, I believe we could just do it in this thread. I'll update the first post with all the information needed for the other members of the collab. Sweet. Would you be okay if I put you down for the engine?
  2. That is entirely right! I'll set a definite goal tomorrow morning, with definite positions, and once all positions are filled, we'll start the building!
  3. No one has said anything about a supercar, I thought these positions would apply for both a trial truck and supercar.
  4. Thank you for such detailed answers! My plan was to find everyone who wanted to do this project, then decide upon a model and split up the sections between everyone. If I understand you correctly, you suggest I invite specific people to the project, people who are best at one section. Am I understanding you right? Also, modularity is definitely of the utmost importance, here. Oops, hadn't seen that. Oh well! I never said anything about LDD just yet, but it's nice to see you're on board! You should pick one! Of course, I was going to settle the specifics once the team was assembled. Nice to hear! As for project management, here are my suggested positions: Project Manager- Designers: Front axle- Framework- Gearbox- Rear axle- Engine- Bodywork- Builders: #1- #2- #3- #4- Each - is a position for someone to fill. How's this?
  5. Hello everyone! I have had an idea. A terrific one, if I may say so myself. You know how in grade school, you always had these group projects, where you'd split up the work between everyone in the group? Well, how about we do that, but with a model? EX. someone builds the front axle, another builds the frame, one builds the roof, etc. It is purely speculation, at this point, but I would like to hear your thoughts! Edit: Good morning, everyone! Here is the full layout of the model. I will update this reply with names as people join in. Plan: We build an all-wheel-drive, mid-engined supercar using these wheels. The total width of the car will be 23 studs, length as needed. It would feature a four-speed gearbox, butterfly-wing doors, and pop-up headlights. Positions: Project Manager- @letsbuild Designers Front Axle- @KikoTube Framework- @Didumos69 Rear Axle- @Aventador2004 Engine- @IA creations Gearbox- @BrickbyBrickTechnic Doors- @Offroadcreat1ons Adjustable Rear Wing- @TechnicRCRacer Bodywork- @Jeroen Ottens* Interior- Builders: #1- @letsbuild #2- @BrickbyBrickTechnic #3- @Aventador2004 #4- @Carsten Svendsen *undecided Click here for the current LDD file. If there are any complaints, let me know, and I'll try to work everything out.
  6. How much difference does it actually make to use colours other than black? Is it actually worth it to take the colour into consideration?
  7. The yellow one won't, but you could get the black one in with a lot of forcing.
  8. Hello everyone! My school has many NXTs, both first generation and 2.0, and some EV3s. Since we got them, we've had Bricks failing, at least one a year. All the robots have been treated properly. Below is a picture of most of our broken NXTs, of which we have 10 in total. The main problem, present in 8 of them, is an LCD screen that fails to display anything. The Brick still makes sound and responds to button presses, but we cannot see what is going on. They are all from 2006. I don't know if that is helpful. I am just looking for more information, maybe even a way to fix them. Thank you!
  9. Very good post, you don't often get many like that. I saw your other two trucks, and I was blow away by them. Good job!
  10. Looks really good! I look forward to the day I have 2 buggy motors!
  11. Oh, right. Sorry. In that case, there is no parts list, just try to start building it.
  12. I wasn't able to find a printable list, but if you go on the rebrickable page for the NSX, you can find the list.
  13. The instructions are good, but I recommend you read all the way through before starting, there are a couple mistakes that are only fixed later in the instructions that require a lot of disassembly. I'll be writing a full review later on, when I finish the car.
  14. Hello, @nico71! I'm building your NSX, and I've noticed some strong rubbing when the steering is at the extreme. Is that to be expected?
  15. With gasoline and spark plugs? No thanks!
  16. I think it's going to have a hood longer than a Viper's by the time you're done! Either way, looks good so far!
  17. I quite like the body!
  18. I would like to have some more detailed pictures.
  19. A turntable would be a good idea, if you could, it would be helpful to put it on backwards (reverse tricycle style). This would make it easier for the car to return to center.
  20. Now, you started off well, but in that second paragraph, well, that's where you go wrong. First, look at the title. It says " trying to break 40km/h with only Lego." Buwizz is not lego. If he wanted to use Buwizz, it would be a lot easier to reach 40km/h.
  21. I can try, but before you get to excited about the kit, Lego isn't cheap, and a model as such might put a sizeable dent in your wallet...
