|MOC] Hausmanian Building, Mcdonald's, music store, loft and pizza hut
koalayummies replied to jalemac34's topic in LEGO Town
Wow, this is one of the most incredible MOC Modulars ever. The detail, variety, design and sheer size is staggering. Absolutely amazing work. You have made one heck of a beautiful building. -
There are some really cool building techniques, fantastic. The shoe and clothing racks are very clever. I especially like the elevator visible through the windows on the back of the building. A wild number of mini figures. Outstanding MOC Modular!

What about Lego making different special sets for girls. Lego standard mini figures have made great strides in combatting the sexism claims in their regular sets, female construction workers, police officers, pilots, boxers etc, they're no longer relegated to the kitchen or shopping. But Paradisa, Belville and Friends lines still fuel the Lego gender issue fire. http://thinkingbrickly.blogspot.com/2012/01/lego-gender-gap.html

Those would both be awesome, took the words right out of my reply. Industrial would be really cool. We have City life so why not Rural life? Farms, ranches, crop-dusters, water wheels, combine harvesters, livestock transport. Theres a lot of possibility there.

Yep, National Geographic Mega Factories Lego: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swC8ZTRxgbQ "The most popular classic Lego set in history" "The flagship set of Lego City". Edit: though this documentary features the design process of that set, it follows the entire Lego manufacturing process throughout which is cool whether you like the Police sets or not.

60116 Ambulance Plane. 183 pieces. 3 mini figures. Ages 5-12. Or 31. I haven't built an official Lego plane set since the late 90's but this set bears a resemblance to the underrated OV-10 Bronco so I thought I'd give it a try. Bonus points that the color scheme loosely resembles CAL FIRE Broncos so it could fill a dual role as ambulance and aerial firefighting coordination. Lets get started: Upon opening the box you find the loose cockpit/canopy: Two bags (each with a smaller bag inside). So if you're used to building 2,000+ piece sets this should be over pretty quickly, but still surprisingly fun. Three mini figures and a dirt bike. Female pilot, male paramedic and adrenaline loving dirt biker. "So you like extreme stuff huh? Here have TWO shots of morphine!" "Jack no!!!" Halfway point, time to open the second bag: All done and ready to go rescuing: Extra pieces, ready to make a rainbow: Parts list: "Oops" Jack realizes he accidentally gave the biker adrenaline instead of morphine and will exact his revenge for being dropped on his face: Sticker sheet with mini fig for scale, I'll let you enjoy the detail added from applying the stickers yourself: Surprisingly fun build for a small set. As an aviation fan it would be hard to pass up this affordable set. I really can't find much at fault without being overly critical.

I would like to see your minifigure designs become reality more than I want a lot of the official collectable mini figs. You are a minifigure idea and graphic design prodigy. This last group is incredibly strong!

Panorama wagon for my 7740 set

That is awesome and very nostalgic. Those old sink pieces . Great job making it compliment the rest of your train. -
Don't see any problem with that, in fact that would be excellent. Make it take even more time or indefinitely for them to earn a return. A lot of the scalpers (which is a polite term for them) buy as many as they possibly can while others can't even get one set as they're saving or waiting for them to return to in-stock. Their greed is nauseating. Would be great to see a return of them including Town Hall. Lego was meant to be built not an unscrupulous stock market.

Good eye! Unfortunately while I have the admirals I don't have pictures as those sets are all in the care of my family in another state. -
[REVIEW] 6277 Imperial Trading Post [VIDEO]
koalayummies replied to Bricks Planet's topic in LEGO Pirates
That is an awesome stop-motion build of this set! Love the nighttime treasure chest heist. Fantastic video. I remember when this set came out and I got it new. I was one super happy kid. Still have all the original pieces but built into a large building on the original raised baseplate. And 6286 Skulls Eye Schooner is one of the best Lego ships ever. These 1990s Pirate sets bring back fond memories.- 18 replies

the most recognizable old mini figures
koalayummies replied to Staslegomaster's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I love the original Ninjas (non ninjago). I have so many of those sets. Some of the more recognizable old minifigs in my collection, (a few need a bit of dust removal) I love the rail yard worker and firefighter with printed helmet: -
Great Bobs Burgers MOC! That show is great and that's a fun and realistic homage to the show.

Good catch again, thank you. I placed a call and they said they didn't see that price even though it was clearly showing when I typed in "Lego 31052" into google, $34.39. I informed them several times. They wanted to give me a $5 electronic gift card but after nearly 13 minutes on hold finally said they would 'honor a one time price match' and told me that next time I should go into the store, take a picture and then email the price difference to their customer service department in the future. Kind of crazy since their price match policy is clearly stated as honoring any price adjustments within 14-days of purchase.

Lego Modular City Square with all modulars!!!
koalayummies replied to LegoSjaak's topic in LEGO Town
I've been seeing pictures of your city square since long before I was a member here and somehow never noticed you have trains around it too. I love the trees (beautiful), flower pots, bike lanes and hand-cart vendors. And the entirely-tiled floor design is epic. -
This thread is completely awesome.Your drawings are fantastic Robert and I would love to see these actually made.

Great photography and lighting and using the character's pictures as opposed to names. Very fun.

Ohhh thank you! I somehow always forget about the build a minifigure!
