  1. I think this is probably the ugliest, most overpriced exclusive set LEGO has ever made. Sure the vehicles and the mini figures are amazing, but the 'cave' is a wall of studs, there are no details or anything. I rather they lower the price $100 then get a, rather limited it usefulness, wallpaper piece. It's an ugy "cave' that looks like the designs only got halfway done with the set and were forced to release it. Honestly I think it's just 'bleh'. I thought the Ghostbusters HQ was a boring set, but at least it looked like a finished product and what it's supposed to. For $80 more you get 2,000 more pieces with it too!
  2. I agree, first thing I thought was it looked like a Klingon ship, and there is nothing wrong with that. :)
  3. Very nice! I actually like it more than the official set! The colors and feel just work better. Only thing is the car might look better with the new hubcaps.
  4. There will not be dinosaurs or creatures with the sets, I promise that. It's a City theme, not an action theme, and that means nothing too out there, and more grounded. They will most likely be looking for lava crystals or something like they did in Arctic. Arctic only had dogs and bears, and can honestly be used again on a mountain, just use the black or brown bear color instead.
  5. Yes, they come out in March in the USA. Probably will be $50 then too. :)
  6. In the USA they don't come out for a few more months, so it's nice to see. I don't know German, but the story and characters I don't know, soI don't need to understand you, the video speaks for itself. Looks like a great set. How much did it cost you?
  7. I will be the happiest person ever if they made the Wiener Car!
  8. I can't read through so many posts but I the Jestro's set is now the correct price on Target.com in the USA.
  9. That's what I'm wondering Klaus, if there were big hot dog stands in Europe. In the USA we have hot dog carts and diners to get a hot dog at.
  10. How did you know what I was wearing on New Year's Eve? ;)
  11. Maybe we will also get a wave of rescue mountain to save the researchers when the volcano erupts. I doubt it but we did get forrest fire and forest police the same year.
  12. I figured the arcade would be a $30 set and the ht dog stand a $10 set. How to you make a $30 hot dog stand? Wouldn't it at some point become a diner?
  13. Jestro's Mobile is $60 in the catalog and S@H, but Target has it for $50. So officially I'd say it's $60. I'm curious to how the theme will evolve over the next few years. Ninjago had new bad guys all the time, Chima kept adding more animals than did that silly fire and ice thing. Moltor is awesome, he's my favorite mini figure so far in 2016. :)
  14. Am I the only one bothered by the fact that the fire department now puts fires out by shooting water balls at the fires? I think that's really silly and makes me hate the fire sets even more.
  15. Knowing how LEGO thinks. 80% of a 'playground' set will be cars and trucks with about 100 pieces for a swing and a slide.
  16. Wow! So lucky for the 24th winners! But so lucky for me! I won Scooby Doo!!! I don't need to buy the castle just to get what's her name now! Thank you so much!
  17. When? We got a Friends airport... that isn't really one. And if we can get a fire and police station every year we can get a new airport that has an actual building.
  18. I'd really like harbor / airport for the summer. It's not like there is much left to redo, arctic and divers and space port all all covered. Plus if the police and some fire sets are water based why not some none rescue sets?
  19. I never saw official numbers but the mid sets were 40-50% off in the USA for days and days on Amazon. So they couldn't be that great of sellers. However they were incredibly designed sets and the designers should be proud.
  20. I don't know why we need 40+ City sets a year. How many little quads and jet skis do fire and police need? We get a new camper like every year following 20 years of not getting on.I understand Police and Fire set, but if you can't keep up with demand then make 30 sets a year instead of 40 and I doubt anyone would notice. It took LEGO from July to now to get the Jurassic World sets back in stock in the USA. That is shocking to me. Of course that might also be they didn't think the movie be as huge as it was, and they didn't want to repeat Lone Ranger.
  21. LEGO 20 years ago made 100 sets a year and you could almost always count on them being around for 3 years. LEGO now makes several hundred sets and can't keep up with the demand. Heck they have a new fire and Police station every year, so the old ones get retired. It's all about numbers and LEGO is simply making to many sets to restock everything.
  22. Oh I like that statue. Cool colors.
  23. Ohh... I like the fact the slope piece is a print.
  24. It did that for me until Monday and by then I went "No thanks lego, I'll save my money". All I wanted was the pen holder house.
  25. Scooby and Doctor Who?!?! Wow! Now I really hope I win. Is this the first year with no yellow mini figures?
