EB Xmas Raffle 2014 - Your Ideal Christmas Gift entry thread
Bricknblue replied to CopMike's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That's not what I meant. I mean with the new extra mini figure raffle. Are all 24 daily bonus mini figures the same one? People in the USA don't ever mail anything, ever. And if you do it's going to somewhere in the USA so no one puts "USA" on their mail. What confuses me is that "CA" to me mean California and "CA" also means Canada. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 13 Rumours and Discussion
Bricknblue replied to just2good's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Series 12 is still in the USA website for $2.98, The Simpsons ones were same price and are now sold out. And I can explain that! LEGO cancels orders for things if there is no idea for a date when something comes back. They rather cancel it now, then wait and then the item never comes back and they cancel it weeks or months from now. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 13 Rumours and Discussion
Bricknblue replied to just2good's topic in Special LEGO Themes
CMF don't seem to need to follow the "Let's reuse the molds" rules. We had chicken suit guy too that's never really going to be used again. They are made in China so the cost out does the new mold costs. This happened with series 12 about a month or so ago, simply just went out of stock, now they are back and for only $2.99 (in the USA). -

I live in the USA, I didn't get the stuff until like April last year, the suspense will kill me! Is every day winner getting the same mini figure? -
That makes sense, the micro sets have been out for awhile and not too hard to find.

Jurassic World 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Bricknblue replied to adotnamedstud's topic in LEGO Licensed
What about LotR? Toy Story had at least two waves, but it the same ear, and Cars had 3+ waves in two years. It's a license, LEGO will make as many sets / waves as they can and feel will sell. Who knows what legal issues every license theme might have.- 1,412 replies

Thank you! I went "The torso is nice, not crazy detail like the Chima ones" and then went "Why is the guy n short sleeves and black gloves?" I'm hoping, probably in vain, that the short sleeves are only for the cube because it looks stupid at best.

What environment should LEGO City Police patrol next?
Bricknblue replied to legoman19892's topic in LEGO Town
I think we need to return to a beach police like that in the 90s. Kind of a mix of police and coast guard. -
I have never gone to a fairground where the colors of the rides have matched. The point of a fairground to me is to be full of lights and colors of every type.

I know what the surprise is! It's we all won a trip to CopMike's house to pick up our prizes. -
There is a space station? How did I miss that? However the other things don't sound like "Classic Space", they sound like typical Space Port space theme, they are in the City theme. So it will a truck with a shuttle on it and a little lander. I do like how they aren't repeating the same sets from the last time. Either way Space and Underwater makes me very happy!

Depending on how old you are what do you consider "Classic Space"? Because if you think we are going to ever get a wave of futuristic space exploration sets I have some bad news for you. ;)

How much were the battle packs? $10 or $13?

The Friends Animals have never been released on time in the USA. I never got a baby deer because those sets were just thrown out. All the Animal sets have been randomly released. It's annoying, but it's only a plastic toy. If the people of the USA cared as much about health care, the hungry, and education as they did with electronics and plastic toys made in China we would be much better off.

You are arguing over a form email. They send that out all the time when people ask questions that no one knows the answer to. There is no need to be rude in the email. The USA has always been many months behind in the Animal series, but I don't think we will even get the last ones because they have become different in the new year.

If this was a real set I would buy it and I don't own any of the winter theme sets. It's amazing how you connected all the parts so everything moves together! Working sack-a-mole?!!?! Awesome!

I'm not complaining about the $30 price point of the hot air balloon, I think it's perfectly fair. I just think it's odd with all the insane prices for Star Wars and City sets that a set with 475 pieces isn't $50, but instead $40. And being an American and never getting Series 6 animals I'm happy to finally be able to get a seal.

I'm still kicking myself for not finishing this year's $10 Friends sets (Now sold out everywhere.) but the fact that the Lighthouse is $40 for 473 pieces when the hot air balloon is $30 with 200 less pieces is surprising to me.

Monster Fighters was made because of how well received the monsters in CMF series were. I think SD is just LEGO likes making 100 different themes a year now, 95 based on licenses.

LEGO City hasn't fit together in many years. No one had road plates anymore so LEGO just makes models that look nice.

Yeah the mech is awesome, I found him at Target in the USA. LEGO makes some amazing mechs.

I have prize B and if someone really hates what they won (How can you hate free LEGO?) I'll be open to trade, unless it's Star Wars. I too love Unikitty.

YES! I won! This is great news because I'm sick again. Damn little germs! I'm not a huge Chima fan but I love the queen Raven. Thanks everyone! -

I'd love to find a Falcon for $42, one of my dream sets. My mom found this for $2, missing mini figures, a cockpit (which I had an extra) and about five very common pieces. http://brickset.com/sets/7163-1/Republic-Gunship My neighbors when they moved gave me a big bucket of LEGO from the 80s and early 90s because their children didn't like non new LEGO. I got two "Benny"s out of it! And I ordered two keychains and a half priced turkey from S@H on Black Friday. I got a TMNT keychain, a Bat Girl keychain, then the two free promo mini figures of flashback shedder and Kor-el, a Turkey and for some reason a free 76010 all for $10.50 shipped because of free shipping and $5 in rewards.
