  1. I remember the truck and it was kind of overpriced because I wanted just those pieces for a bridge, but talked myself out of them. They also worked great on the Exo-Force base in organ, which I also regret not buying when it was on clearance. I'd love if LEGO redid the pieces and made one for the straight section and one for angled piece, that would be awesome.
  2. I miss those pieces. I wish I got some back then, but I hated one big useless pieces, but they look so great in the bridge!
  3. I like that mountain set, that would be a good sett. Have the two bays on the left and then the carport to the right would be great.
  4. I've been complaining about this for a few months. Police sets get a bad rap for being redone to death, but the designs change and evolve. There is a City one, then a Forest one, then a City, then a Swamp, then City, then Island. What does Fire have? A big red building, that's it. So I thought of even a simple change to freshen up the series a bit... Dark red. Add a little dark red to the fire station, have it be red and white and dark red, to break up some of the red and more red. Also why not have some Airport Fire sets? I liked the yellow one that came out years ago, we are getting airport sets in the summer. Maybe in 2017 have a yellow Airport Fire station, with yellow fire trucks. My guess is we won't because yellow probably doesn't sell as well.
  5. My experience, closer to two months.
  6. My first reaction was something I can't repeat here. But wow!
  7. Someone forgot about the top selling Minecraft. Started with weird sets and became it's own mini figure theme with all new head pieces.
  8. The human vehicles were awesome after the first year. The drop ship and that drill are still great designs. Everything dealing with the Martians was horrible. I can't believe LEGO thought those figures were a good idea. Then the ship designs were 'ehh'. But the human sets were fun. I feel that Space themes are always so underappreciated.
  9. No. I think the "Ultimate" series fills in the $10 price point for those, and next year they can come out with the new bad guy ones, and make "Super Ultimate figures". But who knows, maybe they will. However weren't there supposed to be some for the Chima ones that were never released? Maybe LEGO realizes that they don't sell well. Plus as Star Wars shows, the more human ones (Luke) look fully in that line.
  10. Orient Expedition because it was great and I got it for 70%+ off. I think it would be great if they were traveling around the world looking for Atlantis. We could get beach, sea and coastal temple sets. There could be Brazilian, Asian islands, Japanese and Chinese sets. Plus we could get some old style subs instead of all the modern / futuristic ones. Atlantis wouldn't be run by evil sea creatures, but could be ruins full of treasure.
  11. The tile on the boardwalk is stunning. However I have a huge complaint... Cold winters in Portland?! Please come to the Northeast next winter, we will show you cold.
  12. I get my LEGO Club Magazine but on the March-April issue they told me I'm no longer getting it and I have to go online. Very sad.
  13. Brickset had an article about missing baseplates asking where they went, except they did't bother to actually ask and get an answer. We might not like the answer, but at least we have one now. I love what he said about the Police stations. We make fun of them a lot but they are actually very nice. I regret not buying the 2013 (I think) city based one that had two garage doors and looked like an office building. They change them, they are different, we never had a prison island before and if I was a child I'd love that, heck as an adult I think it's very nice.
  14. We would need the baby first to see, but I doubt it. I also doubt you can pose the firewoman's arm like that in real life.
  15. Yay! Thanks! I expect mine to show up in April or never. Honestly the USPS is the most insane thing ever. Once they delivered a card within 20 hours when I was 150 miles away on an island. Other times things come opened, ripped, cut, stolen or never.
  16. Whaaa? There was no recall? This happens every series?! haha I'm really glad Eurobricks didn't report on it.
  17. It's why I picked old sets. Like I said elsewhere here I hate the uncreative fire stations of modern times, but they aren't hated by everyone. That city set was hated by everyone I knew, I even remember back then. And that 'police station' is a release! Of all the awesome police sets of the 90s to release they picked that horrid set! Those sets oddly enough made me enter a 'dark age', which is odd. Most think it's caused by growing up, to me it was just so many bad sets from 1997-2002ish.
  18. I think it was series 12, maybe 11, it was not 10 or before for sure. I wish I bought the king, pig and unicorn, but oh well.
  19. Wasn't that always the case? I'm sorry but the baby is weird and creepy. I much like the native person baby from the current series. The set is great because City never gets new torsos, which bugs the hell out of me. Even Juniors get new torsos.
  20. How do we know that it's not the baby from the current series?
  21. The late 90s and early 00s where everything was one piece and badly planned. But I think this has to be the most hated from that time because it's a RERELEASE of a horrible set, the worst police station ever.... http://brickset.com/sets/6636-1/Command-Post-Central Also this was $76 and I remember it being hated.... http://brickset.com/sets/6464-1/Super-Rescue-Complex
  22. I have only ever seen CMF series at three Walmarts out of the 10 or so I might have been in over the years. But I hadn't seen any series besides I want to say it was 11-12-13 all of last summer, just that one. It was weird.
  23. Mine was the same way. I rarely see them at Walmart and this past summer they had 2-4 boxes from a few series back.
  24. This is very true. I wish I have bought a few of the older ones for 30-40% off just for all the windows and garage doors. But me poor.
