I need better pictures, but the bigger thing is very blue still. However the the smaller Knights vehicle is very white and blue and orange is very very Ice Planet which makes me VERY VERY HAPPY! :)

I think the problem was that there should have been a theme. I would have released the family members in sets and use the blind bags as random characters. But I would have also used normal heads so what do I know. :lol:

I think it's a safe bet we will get another Mickey. However they no longer seem to care for the 16 in a series rule, so they it's not that big of an issue.

I'm glad the hiker is getting some love. He's very under rated and a real gem.

I like like buttons, what I hate is when I'm notified of them. I like them because if I agree with what the person said I don't have to reply "I agree" and then just repeat what they said.

Yes. The Simpsons came out after series 11, the last one I got (with the cute elves that were super cheap), then Simpsons I ignored and Series 12 were $4 too. I think Europe will see a price increase but the USA will not. There is that tax over there the the USA doesn't have.

Oddly I stopped with 10 or 11 because the price jump from $3-4. Also when that happened it became difficult to find any at TRU. I bought a bunch of 3-10 because they were $2-2.50 on sale at TRU, but that ended, and the 1-2 times in recent years TRU had that sale they were always sold out.

Yeah I was going to give the Easter Bunny as a gift, turns out I only had one, go online.... insanity. However $5 for a minifigure is just too damn much. I would love if they did retro series with the ones that have the biggest secondary value, just to screw with people.

That's what I'm saying. I'm fine with red trucks, I'm even fine with mainly red buildings, but they can't use dark red (or sand red!!!!!), more greys and whites, some texture pieces like the brick bricks. The last fire station is 95% red, with just a hint of white around the bays. They couldn't add a little more. They turn out to just be a pill of redness. And most modern LEGO fire stations have a helicopter, because everything needs a helicopter.

I had a hell of a time, then saw 4 other people online have issues too. Where in the USA are you? Maybe it's regional. I'm in Massachusetts, and bought at Target. But the hiker is still kick megablocks. Superb minifigure from such a simple idea.

Series 16 is awesome, however the hiker has big hands and the compass has issues going on. There is my very detailed review. :)

What? Free LEGO?! Also the Fun in the Park set is $32 this week at Target which might be cheaper than B&P the set.

Why is everyone so crazy about the color of the bags?

There have always been three sets released a year in the USA, but when the price went to $3.99 (Which I know is cheaper than Euro.) I REALLY cut back. I went from buying full sets, even 30-40 at times with many duplicates. Then the price increase happened and the sales stopped happening and I have a lot less now and no complete series after 11 besides Disney.

The issue with city and 'City' Police... You are confusing them. We get a set that is a city police station every three years. In 2014 we got a city Police Station, in 2015 we got a Swamp Police Station, this year we got a Prison Island Station. The in 2017 we will get another city one like we got in 2013 and 2011. The variation of the of them is also nice, but even every three years the Police Station (That's just city and not a sub theme) is still a lot more diverse than what we get in the Fire theme.

Those children sound horrible and clearly should never go to Disney World. But City Police gets a new station every three years, and they all look different, which is why I don't mind the repeating of them. But fire stays the same, it's boring. You want to keep it red, fine, but even the Swamp Police is SNOT blue in design. You can do a lot with red, mix it with more white, give the sets more texture, mix in dark red or greys. But nope we get the same ugly thing every three years.

I doubt LEGO will ever include an ambulance in a fire station, just like there will never be a fire / police station combo. Lego likes to keep the themes rather separate it seems. Plus the last time I think there was a three bay fire station was like 25 years ago, and even that one might have been only 2 bays and the door.

Who is they? LEGO said they were releasing more Disney this September to keep up with the demand. I completely disagree with your first statement. However i completely agree with your second. Who cares what color the bag / box is when you just throw them to the side anyways.

Also they were free with $60 or $75 purchase or $20 each and I still think some TRUs in the USA have some in stock for half off. They really were not welcomed or did well at all. Which is why they went back to minifigure packs, even if they suck this year.

I consider Chima a flop because it didn't continue past the plan date, and much more importantly, I still see it on clearance everywhere, it's still incredibly cheap and half off on Amazon. I keep meaning to buy the Bird of Prey for $17.50-$20 (Normally $40) but there is no rush as Amazon has had it for that price for almost a year. This is very common in the USA which is LEGO's number 1 or 2 selling place. But I think NEXO is doing better, it only recently started being 20% off. I think that's a good sign. I personally don't own too much Nexo but I love it more than Chima which I feel was a one trick pony that they released WWWAAAAYYY too many sets for. We will find out next year when LEGO releases it info.

2017 is Batman, Series 17, NinjaGo it seems. 2018 is Series 18 and 19 and Disney? 2019 is LEGO Movie 2. I mean if they really start to run out of ideas just get new licenses and remake old themes in an updated outfit. I'd gladly take a new Wolfpack minifigure or an Ice Planet one. Even a simple hiker is amazing. (Be even better if his compass fit correctly.)

This is probably my favorite series since series 11.
