Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Bricknblue replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
When does it normally close? I was going to place an order when the weather got bad (cold) and that's happening next week but my credit card info was stolen so I won't have a new one until 27th or 28th at the earliest. -
Nothing is guaranteed until it's released. ;) I just hope it's not a $150 set like the way City is going.

Hospital is white and red while CG is orange and blue, so I don't think that would work. I see it being they release another ambulance, they might have a small boat to tie into the boat theme of next year, and then just have the hospital set itself. I wish they would mix the themes a little. They used to have police stations on the beach and still have CG. As long as we get another hospital that's not on a hill I'll be happy.
-
And frankly the last few hospital themes have only bee n2-3 sets. You have a hospital, ambulance, helicopter, and maybe boat (If that doesn't cut into Coast Guard), there just really isn't that much you cn do with the theme.

21306: The Beatles Yellow Submarine (LEGO Ideas)
Bricknblue replied to Blondie-Wan's topic in LEGO Licensed
I don't think that even came out in the USA. If it did the price point isn't shocking. LEGO is hugely overcharging fans again because LEGO fan are arrogant and don't care they get ripped off. -
It started with Columbus and went all the way through to today. So it started with the Europeans and the BS just continues through American stupidity.

LEGO Nexo Knights 2017 Discussion
Bricknblue replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Because they made enough to meet demand and have plenty left in stock and only a limited amount of space to make new product? There have been times where the USA didn't really get sets, like the first Friends Advent Calendar and I think the Pirates one, because there were quality issues with those two sets and LEGO didn't have the time or space to make more of them. And let's be honest, one it's a rumor so really it means nothing, but more importantly all the older Nexo sets will be 30% off comes January 5th when every retailer wants to make room for the 2017 stuff. No point is wasting the factory space making more sets that retails are trying to clear out. Or maybe LEGO realized they don't want to have older Nexo sitting around Amazon for the next 5 years at 50% off. (Looking at you Chima.) -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Bricknblue replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I was going to say. I don't follow many MOCers but I have seen that building before. I love your work. If you don't post the LDDs instructions anymore that's fine, just keep posting your awesome pictures! Also the fishing shack comes out in the fall, they said it in the video. -
LEGO Ideas: 21310 Old Fishing Store (Fall 2017)
Bricknblue replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Town
Predictable. Otherwise all of them will get a pass. I bet however they make 5 of them and they sell out in 4 hours and never get more of them. When they announce the launch date anyone who wants the set better call out from work. -
Shipping prices on Bricklink
Bricknblue replied to harrypotterstarwarsfan's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It's the USPS, you take a risk anytime you ship anything. But I have always gotten different numbers overtime I ship, even though I don't ship more than 1-2 mini figures at a time the price varies greatly. -
Shipping prices on Bricklink
Bricknblue replied to harrypotterstarwarsfan's topic in General LEGO Discussion
USPS is ripping you off. They charged me $2.60 to ship two mini figures. I was trading with someone and he shipped his two for 96 cents. He told me when he talks to a human they charge him a lot more, so he goes to a computer and has it done that way. -
LEGO Nexo Knights 2017 Discussion
Bricknblue replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
20 years ago LEGO released 150 sets a year at the most. Today they make 150 Nexo sets (Okay, not really, but it feels like it.) so of course they need to retire sets to make room for the new. They can't make 1,000 2016 sets while rolling out 400 2017 sets, so things get retired. It annoys me too, a lot, but it needs to be done. -
Not likely to happen. Wild West is very American, not a great world wide thing. The Lone Ranger probably left a bad taste in LEGO's mouth. Also the horrible history of Europeans killing all the natives in the Americas.... not very family friendly.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Bricknblue replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
In September in the USA the free Nexo minifigure with $50 purchase started September 5th, not the 1st. The Death Star came out Sept 30th and not October 1 like the Holiday Train. LEGO 'prettied' up their website, but it is still a horrible website, they need new servers. I think they started separating the releases a little more so the servers don't crash. I can see some sets coming out December 26, like the City ones, then Nexo and NinjaGo coming out on January 1st, and then this set on January 4th. Just so there isn't one big rush for new sets all at once. -
The eyes are separate and he doesn't look creepy. That's a winner in my book.

The Death Star was added, but no good exclusive parts. There are some printed black leg pieces, like a robe or something, but that's it. And I'm not sure if it was talked about, but the big printed piece from the Disney Castle was added for $2. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

I've seen a picture of Big Foot, he was hanging out with Elvis. Maybe we should just wait and see? Also the US market is the biggest and most important for LEGO (I think Germany is second.), but yeah RRP means nothing in the USA. -
LEGO Nexo Knights 2017 Discussion

I see a big Nexo wave in the late spring or early summer timeframe, then NinjaGo in the fall. The Batman Lego movie will rightfully suck all the life out of the other lines. -

I love the big cargo boat, about time LEGO did that. -
LEGO Ninjago 2017 Discussion
Bricknblue replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I think the ghost and pirate themes have been the best in the series along with the snakes of the 2nd year. This feels like they just needed filler before the movie and went "Let's take the stone bad guys and the name bad guys and stick them together". There isn't anything unique and the dragon is a step back, Wu's Dragon is stunning, it's just Mad Lips NinjaGo. _______ mech & _______ dragon -
LEGO Nexo Knights 2017 Discussion

To the people who can't find them, they are horrible pictures so you aren't missing much and the LEGO Police are busy removing them before Lepin can release the sets at a tenth the cost. -
It was a wide spread Walmart USA sale in July when they were sticking out the new sets and getting rid of the older ones. It was Police, Deep Sea, Space Port City stuff, First wave Elves, Ghost NinjaGo stuff, a few Creator sets. This site isn't really used for sales, I go to toysnbricks.com for that stuff. Your best bet is now Target.com if you are in the USA. They had a 20% off sale where a ton of things were already 20% off. The current Police Station is $65 and if they have a 20% off sale again that be cheaper than I paid. If not just wait 3 years and LEGO will release a station that looks very much like the 2014 one. :)
-
Yep, Walmart. It was 'Half Off" because for some reason their price was like $109 or something odd. Also found the Space Shuttle and Diver Boat for half off. Still very happy and when I get some spare money I want to buy some windows to replace al the bars and make it into an office complex and then redo it into a modern day 6398 which I always wanted as a child. http://brickset.com/sets/6398-1/Central-Precinct-HQ But that's besides the point. But more police staff that looks just like the last means more deals. And at least the plane and the boats look very nice.

I think everyone read the list wrong, the 2015 top seller list was kind of vague, it might not have been a top seller, but a top money maker. And on the plus side I got 60047 for $54 instead of $100 on clearance. More police = more clearance.
-
Also last week Target had 20% off the 20% off price. The $20 sets became $12.xx.
