    Personally, I actually hope they won‘t release too many ROTS sets next year. It‘s kinda been done to death AOTC needs more love from TLG!

    As did I. Touched it today when I was rearranging things, and all hell broke loose The main issue is still the stand. I double-checked everything and it makes no sense for the slope and reverse-slope pieces to be there since the hole in the model is so deep, the weight of the entire thing rests on those two pieces, and of course they fly off The wing issue is also still there.

    I‘m surprised, nay, disappointed. No jonkling in this thread about the new Jonkler movie? A D Cinemascore is unheard of for CBMs, even Fant4stic got a C+! Looks like WB enjoy keeping themselves warm! …by burning all their money. And goodwill. And bridges. Ouch.

    It‘s not a 2024 set, but I have to rant about it before I explode The 2023 UCS X-Wing is the worst piece of **** set they have ever designed. I‘ve been trying to fix this horribly designed monster for 3 hours and I‘m going mad. The stand keeps falling apart, the side panels are so flimsily attached they keep falling off, the mechanism doesn‘t work because the wings are too heavy, and the slopes on the stand keep falling off because the hole where it‘s attached is just too deep. What on Earth happened here?! The 2013 model never had such issues! I hate this pile of rubbish now more than the 2020 Mickey and Minnie figures.

    Metal Sonic works really well as a minifig, much better than the weird battle droid hybrid …thing from Dimensions Also nice to see that Tails gets a new facial expression as well!

    I‘m aware, but his Mini isn‘t known for participating in any races, high octane chace scenes or anything along those lines

    There's one other instance, namely a printed tile from the NES set that was included in someone's Monkie Kid set And in a similar instance, someone had ordered a replacement torso on pick a brick and instead got Bucky's torso from the first Marvel CMF series! I think. Or was it just a picture of the torso on the inventory sheet you receive with each PAB order? Something like that.

    @TandNbricks is hinting at more movie-based sets in 2HY 2025. I hope we venture beyond F&F this time One of the limitations is the name of the theme itself. Otherwise iconic cars from well known IPs get disqualified just for that, like Mr Bean‘s Mini

    That one has already been deconfirmed And as @jonwil points out, as long as Mega has the Pkmn license, we won‘t see any LEGO sets. And it doesn‘t look like they‘ll drop it anytime soon So two items on that list are made-up, three are true, and one is still rumoured but unconfirmed. Pretty decent prank

    The stories about TLG and Nick/Viacom not getting along keep popping up, but I don‘t see any actual proof. Of course that would be next to impossible to acquire since insiders would have to spill the beans on the matter I still hope for SpongeBob to return one day. The Ideas projects people keep creating are so good and the minifigs could be so much better nowadays!

    Thank you for confirming it! Now I‘m curious which theme(s) he was referring to, unless that post didn‘t hint at themes other than the ones he already confirmed (i.e., Simpsons and Horizon). Avatar can be ruled out too since he said in another post he only expects it to return.

    @Brick Clicker confirmed that 71049 is the F1 series. The biggest mystery is whether they‘ll still call it a „minifigure“ series

    Well, I said chances were super slim. The only reason I suggested it was because it would fit with the hint, not that it made any sense. He has since stated in a separate question that he wants the theme to return, which indicates he hinted at something else

    Wouldn‘t we get sets for Avatar 3 in January 2026 though? And Horizon isn‘t really a theme per se Also, Simpsons, LOTR, and Horizon were already teased in other posts, so I think he meant other IPs

    He‘s very reliable. A Shire set it is then! Not the most exciting choice in terms of minifigs (unless it‘s based on both FOTR and AUJ), but the build itself could be pretty incredible! Fingers crossed it‘s cheaper than the previous two sets though.

    I can‘t believe I‘m opening this can of worms again, but could @TandNbricks hint at Indy returning? Which other „old“ themes that didn‘t have sets in the „last 1-2 years“ could qualify? I know the chances are super slim, but the possibility is there

    SpongeBob would have my vote! (Duh) But to me, it‘s a bit strange he specified „in the last 1-2 years“. If it was SpongeBob or Scooby-Doo, he would‘ve said 10+ years, no? Unless he wants to be as vague as possible on purpose

    @TandNbricks is hinting at more Transformers sets, even outside the 18+ line we currently have! So far, he only confirms one non-18+ set

    As much as I hate to say it, this has to go in the „false“ category. I still hope we‘re getting one next summer, but the chances ain‘t looking too good

    The book-exclusive minifig could be pretty much anything, from a cool Spidey multiversal variant like Spider-Man India to something lame like a venomised Aunt May Best not to get our hopes up!

    I remember seeing the set number in connection with the rumour somewhere, but I can‘t seem to find it I think it was the source that first reported about it being buildable cars with minifig heads and helmets, but I could well be wrong about that. Jedijacpenguin has the series listed with that number as well, but while he’s reliable, he‘s not a leaker himself So there might still be a tiny chance it‘s an additional series, but I‘m not willing to bet even a single stud on that

    Pictures of two of the Moana 2 sets are out! Since one of them is a lifestyle image, the full reveal must be imminent The buildable Hei-Hei is nowhere to be seen though.

    Wait, how exactly did you guys reach the conclusion that the F1 series is not a CMF series? Wishful thinking? Because nothing changed, as far as I’m aware. 71048 is S27 and 71049 is still the F1 series.

    …sometimes I wonder what the poor people must be thinking that unknowingly stumble upon this thread, expecting actual DC set discussion to take place I still don‘t know whether this is the best or the worst thread I‘ve ever seen on EB.
