LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
BrickBob Studpants replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Take this with a grain of salt, but @TandNbricks is hinting at something Jango-related. The post makes several references (donuts, a tale as old as time, a fellowship, a superhero team, family), and one of them is a „simple man trying to find his way in the universe“ -

Maybe I‘m reading too much into it, but in his latest teaser, @TandNbricks hints at several things (donuts -> Simpsons, a fellowship -> LOTR, a man trying to find his way in the universe -> Jango Fett), one of which is „a tale as old as time“. Hmmmmmmm -
Could Simpsons line of Minifigure series or Sets return?

Makes sense! I thought those were official test runs with the pieces getting collected and destroyed (or recycled) at the end Your account would explain the existence of various colours because the usual prototypes (or test runs rather) are indeed red. The translucent ones could be explained by them wanting to test new moulds with different kinds of plastic, but not the other crazy colours we sometimes see. Rogue workers sneakily creating their own recoloured pieces would explain a lot -

Aren‘t they just snatched off the conveyer belt by workers and then smuggled out of the factory while nobody‘s looking? -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

And for good reason With only 12 figures per series, they better make sure they‘re all unique or at least come with a great accessory! A groom could work if they included a really good accessory. I like the diamond ring idea the best (despite my issues with the diamond business. Maybe better a different gem). Other than that, I‘d rather they skip that one entirely in favour of more unique ideas. The S7 bride can just marry the S1 magician -

That‘s a neat minifig! Finally the character‘s not exclusive to an SDCC promo anymore I don‘t mind the lack of leg printing here. Prototype minifigs don‘t leak, except for rare prototype mould test runs (like some of the Simpsons‘ heads). If you see a leaked printed minifig, always assume it to be final The only potential differences between leaked minifigs and the real deal are missing accessories like capes or accidentally swapped pieces -

I have mixed feelings here. There are still some characters from the live-action shows I‘d like to see in minifig form, but they‘re all from Loki The other shows were either already well-covered, have their characters lined up for other projects (like US Agent), or have characters that don‘t look unique enough for a CMF series. While a series solely consisting of characters from the animated shows could work, I still think that Mobius, OB, and B-15 deserve some CMF slots -

Not surprised at all. Why release an Imperial base when battlepacks, starfighters, or cruisers have much broader appeal? Let‘s take the Imperial base in Mando S2. Iconic scene (especially the tense Tarantino-esque moment between Mando, Mayfeld, and Hess), but what’s more likely if they wanted to make a set based on that episode? The base, or the juggernaut they steal to get there? I think the answer is obvious And I still want that set. We’ve been robbed! -
Lego Minecraft 2023, leaks, rumors and discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Lemerbrix's topic in LEGO Licensed
Chances are not bad I‘d say since we have 11 additional set numbers (21271-21280 and 21282), and that sounds like wayyy too many sets for a single 2HY wave The options are: A huge 2HY wave Two big 2HY waves Another 1HY wave and a 2HY wave Nr 3 seems the most likely to me and if there is indeed another 1HY wave, a handful of movie-tie sets is pretty likely They released sets on the spin-offs games, so why not the movie too? Would be kinda funny to see regular human minifigs in Minecraft sets. And how would they make the mobs look different? More realistic texture prints? Sounds like nightmare fuel That’d be neat! -

Maybe the Nether Portal Battle finally introduces Zombiefied Piglins and/or Zoglins It has “battle” in the name, so we know there‘s at least one hostile mob included. Fingers crossed! -

We finally got a set list for the January wave, courtesy of @Lego_Minecraft_Goat: 21266 Nether Portal Battle (99 pcs, $9.99) 21267 The Village Visit (105 pcs, $14.99) 21268 Baby Pig House (238 pcs, $19.99) 21269 Mine Adventure (247 pcs, $29.99) 21270 Mushroom House (500 pcs, $39.99) 21271-21280 and 21282 come later, either in March and/or 2HY. If there are sets in March, there‘s a non-0 chance they‘re movie tie-ins! The January wave doesn‘t exactly sound spectacular with mostly remakes, but there‘s potential for some new mobs at least. Fingers crossed for a new villager type in 21267! -

Neat surprise to see the Luxo Jr. project pass after all! Must‘ve been a technical issue they had to solve first, because license-wise, this should‘ve been a walk in the park! -

Imagine the epic meltdown over in the „new animal parts“ thread if we got a ton of new animal pieces, only for all of them to be venomised -
The new villain faction sounds pretty interesting! Now I wonder if they‘ll reuse the existing dragon head piece (really getting their money‘s worth with that one, if so!) Ninjago villains tend to get a ton of specialised pieces, so a new piece (or several) is probably more likely though

The audacity, the utter disrespect!! Yes, the eponymous subject of the record-breaking hit song “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” is not iconic, got it You can’t even argue that the song should be separated from the character, given that his green eyes and the rat are clearly nods towards the song -

That was my first thought too, but Belle doesn‘t seem to have pink lips. Maybe it‘s just the picture quality -

Belle’s faceprint could be new, pretty hard to tell. She has dual-moulded arms and the regular dress piece, not the extra-wide one Geppetto sports Shaggy‘s hairpiece in light bluish grey, Lilo has Pocahontas‘ hairpiece plus a printed 1x2 brick as her skirt, and Bruno has Moody‘s hairpiece in black plus green eyes. He comes with a rat, fittingly The picture is 100% real. It‘s one of the lifestyle images
