How to Train Your Dragon - 2025 Rumors & Updates
BrickBob Studpants replied to karrit's topic in LEGO Licensed
The LEGO "curse" strikes again! Another movie where I went from "I don't give a ****" to "wow, gotta check it out now!" The only thing I knew was that it was coming and that Gerald Butler reprises his role. John Powell and the director also returning got my interest as well! And the thought of a Nick Frost minifig is also very appealing. Thing is, if they stick close to the animated movies with the dragon designs, then it doesn't make a huge difference for the LEGO sets I think -
Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

It‘s indeed ee-gor, not eye-gor I wonder why they didn‘t choose a fictional country to pit the US against. Wouldn‘t be a stretch after Sokovia, Wakanda, and Madripoor -
Could Simpsons line of Minifigure series or Sets return?
BrickBob Studpants replied to Vitruvius's topic in LEGO Licensed
Why not both? Obviously I also want SBSP to return! The recent Ideas submissions have all been amazing, but I fear Nick are the problem here. -

Personally, I really dig that IM3 set! Aldritch having young Han‘s face rather than a unique one is a downside, but the torso print is cool! Much better than the 2013 minifig ^^ Igor is an improvement too -
How to Train Your Dragon - 2025 Rumors & Updates

I didn‘t see that one coming, especially since Playmobil still have the license, don‘t they? But if the sets are based on the live-action reboot, that would make sense! -

Doubtful, since the set was delayed by quite a while! This would only make sense if the design tream initially used a generic faceprint and swapped it when they saw the new one No doubt it‘s gonna get reused next year though! -

Oh look! A new female faceprint in a Marvel set! Can‘t wait to see it used for 6 different characters in the same theme soon Cynicism aside, the minifigs look great, and I‘m glad Sam has a different appearance, distinct from the CMF version! Especially the nicely printed helmet I prefer Red Hulk over the comic version from 7 years ago as well! -

The jet itself looks rather weird with those wings, but the minifigs are promising! -

You may remember the Genshin Ideas project me and my ex-GF had worked on early last year… After we broke up, I left the project on the platform as is, expecting it to fizzle out, which would‘ve been the case later this week. Yeah, someone noticed the approaching deadline, took matters into their own hands, and after a streamer has given the project a big shout out on Saturday, the numbers have now increased from roughly 3900 to over 9500 If you wanna see the project cross the magical 10k threshold, check it out here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/b448ee75-d28f-4892-bda4-3bf4de589f37 Thank you!! It‘s been an interesting journey -

The number of times rumours from credible sources have been wrong in the last couple of years can be counted on one hand though The only ones that come to mind are this year‘s rumoured Death Star set that turned out to be a Star Destroyer, the infamous Tower of Fate, and Captain Rex as an accessory pack figure. You‘re right in that there‘s no absolute guarantee with any rumour, but depending on the source, the accuracy is like 99%. So while it‘s not factual until we see official statements of some kind, we might as well treat it as such -

Babu Frik. Any day! There are still some other themes that haven‘t leaked at all (City, Minecraft, Jurassic World) and others only have partially (Harry Potter). There are no rules -
LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

Agreed. What would be the point of creating a new sickly pale skintone? Which characters could benefit from that other than TROS Palpy, Voldy, and Azog? -
Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
How 2025 will shape on the whole only the future can tell, but the January offerings have to be some of the strongest 1HY sets in a long time, across themes! Marvel, DC, HP, Sonic, Mario, and AC all have great sets lined up and the MC, SW, and JW stuff will surely include some notable highlights as well. It‘s rare to get sets for almost every single licensed theme in the same month (Fortnite being the only exception among the active non-18+ licenses I think), and on this level! -

Those sets are better than expected, even the Venom car actually looks cool! That Spiderverse set is clearly the highlight though. Spot is, well, spot-on, and the other minifigs look awesome as well! And Red Hulk‘s moustache is just hilarious -

Or the version with the hat! We‘re almost guaranteed to get another Flitwick in January, but I doubt it‘ll be much different from the one in the AC -
Fair enough. I did like the first act too (apart from „it‘s clobbering time“ being used as a bully‘s catchphrase ), but it quickly fell apart after that GL was fun-bad to me and Fant4stic boring-bad, which is way worse. As for the alleged Arkham set, I wouldn‘t count on any new villains. We haven‘t seen any members of the regular rogues‘ gallery in such a long time, all of them would count as new again by now Unless it‘s based on BTAS, in which case they could recycle some of this year‘s minifigs!
