LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
BrickBob Studpants replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm on the fence about having Enoch in the BP or not. On the one hand, I don't army-build so I don't really mind having named characters in BPs, but on the other, it'd be much better to have three regular Night Troopers plus a Double Death Trooper in that set. Ideally, we'd get a BP plus a dropship, but that's not particularly likely, is it. That said, if the choice is between getting Enoch next year or having to wait until 2026/7, I'd rather he be included in the BP -

Agreed. If it comes with Jumba and Pleakley, this has good chances to be one of my favourite sets next year! -

Sure, minifig- and largescale models have coexisted on shelves before, but they weren’t released in the same year We were robbed of a potential DH1 set! Good thing the Manor is there to make up for that I know, no word has been said yet about whether it‘s based on PS or DH1, but since it‘s a display model, I guess it‘s the former. Baby Harry takes up fewer parts and the DH1 version is kinda pointless as a larger model. Who‘d be pursuing them? -

I don‘t mind the motorbike set as such, but it does annoy me that this likely means we won‘t see a minifigscale version for quite some time -

Brickmerge has the names in both English and German, there is no mistranslation. The price for the 1-pack is 40€ and 70€ for the 2-pack -

@Brick Clicker‘s main outlet is his YT channel. He has an IG account too ^^ I was afraid the bike would not be minifig-scale… I’m looking forward to Malfoy Manor and the Duelling Club instead then. Fingers crossed for Narcissa Malfoy and a new Lockhart, but they are almost guaranteed. Leaving out the matriarch and the founder respectively would be pretty stupid. This ain‘t the Marvel theme, after all! -

Disney will have a new subtheme with buildable dresses, which includes 43266 Cinderella‘s Dress and 43262 Maleficent‘s and Cruells de Vil‘s Dresses (source: Brickmerge) Interesting choice! I wonder what they will look like. Do the sets include mannequins or are the dresses floating around? -

Or how about something new? I know it‘s been a while, but we‘ve already had 3 CTTs before. Granted, the Bunker is overdue for a remake along by with an AT-ST, but that‘s also not a super exciting idea to me A set based on the Juggernaut from Mando S2 would be a lot cooler, but maybe that‘s just me -

According to @Brick Clicker, Hagrid‘s Bike isn‘t minifig-scale and instead includes brickbuilt versions of Hagrid and Harry. Dangit So much for more Death Eaters! -

So my most anticipated sets of 2025 are currently: Night Trooper BP (if it‘s real) U-Wing Arc-170 Jango‘s SF / Slave One Plo Koon‘s Jedi SF Ahsoka‘s Jedi SF Mando 4+ set All the rest …better than 2021‘s 1HY line-up, but this still really isn‘t much to write home about. Only two sets that I‘m really excited for, the rest sound good but not outstanding Looks like the 2HY sets have to save the day again, which we should‘ve gotten accustomed to by now -

Hope it sticks this time The source seems to be more reliable at least! Maybe the build is a miniature version of the dropship? Would fit right in with previous BP vehicles! -
Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

Secret Invasion was so bad, it cooked that person‘s brain They‘re in an asylum now, rocking back and forth, saying „Nick Fury! Little green men! So much greeeeeen! Genetic tattoos and rings“! And then somebody showed them the leaked picture and all they did was screaming incoherently about Nick Fury. -
That‘s basically a death sentence

I know the books are popular, but how‘s the show doing? Not sure if it‘s successful enough to warrant any LEGO tie-ins Also, from what I‘ve seen, it‘s a rather generic-looking show. None of the designs really stood out to me… If RoP has a hard time getting merch, it must be even worse for WoT

12 years later, and they‘re still using the Bruce Wayne faceprint for major characters?! When will they finally retire it? Other than that, I like what I‘m seeing! The Ninjago wolf claw energy thing piece works very well for Gambit, who‘s my favourite minifig in the set! Love all the dynamic poses the set grants for the minifigs, just like the previous large-scale Marvel sets did The interior looks good as well. The other two sets aren‘t much to write home about. I like both designs, but I’m kinda getting tired of seeing the same characters over and over again, even if they have slight variations. -

Yes. As @AxolotlPlays says, the plot involves finding three large-scale specimens, one of which is a mosasaurus It‘s safe to assume all three will be included in sets since they‘re living McGuffins basically! -

Still hoping for a minifig list to drop soon! I‘m the most excited to hear more about Malfoy Manor and Hagrid‘s bike Also, after having built some of the new Dreamzzz sets, I‘m still baffled they haven‘t used the dual-moulded smoke piece from Hidden Side for the baddies yet. The HP team is usually excellent at reusing parts in clever ways! -

There has to be a reason BPs have become so inconsistent Maybe they did start to self-cannibalise, as some have suggested? If so, you think they‘d diversify them a bit though to prevent that. …which they‘ve actually done in a way this year! We had a larger Clone vs Battle Droid BP, a regular size Imperial Armoured Commando vs Mando one, and now the exclusive Stormie vs Rebel Trooper set. Great selection if you ask me! Now if only they continued that next year… Maybe we‘ll get one or two next Summer! -
Not really a theme though, as it was „only“ an Ideas set

Yeah, the Malibu mansion rumour sounded like horseradish from the getgo. Almost 6000 pieces, and then that minifig list I will never understand what‘s supposed to be so fun about spreading fake rumours. -
