Animal Crossing 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to TheBrickPal's topic in LEGO Licensed
…fudge, I forgot that the German and English Julians aren’t the same! In the German version, Julian is actually Punchy The unicorn is instead named Jimmy. Too bad. I‘d much rather have Punchy, but the chances for that are virtually zero since the source isn‘t German -

Plus Ninjago is their in-house golden goose. They can do whatever they want with that theme In what sense? Four characters are included in both sets, Han and Chewy are available in the Sarlacc Pit set, and the other three figs in Jabba‘s Palace wouldn‘t make sense in any other set. -
Disney Properties 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

Agreed, simply because the „Classic“ Disney sets so far have been rather random when it comes to the films/franchises they pick. Two sets from the same film in the same wave would be rather unusual Also, before we kick the hype machine into overdrive, don’t forget that a buildable character can‘t be ruled out yet! -

Given how cautious TLG is with TV tie-ins, I can‘t see them going all in with show sets. The live-action Marvel shows are relegated to CMF series and even the non-Mando Star Wars shows get very few sets Moreover, this is the first big franchise like that with a complete reboot, so most license partners will likely be cautious. There simply isn‘t any precedent. If they switch to TV show merch and it bombs, it would take a while to recover. Nostalagia is a big factor why current merch sells well, a major advantage which the show won‘t have. It‘s not a coincidence HP merch is doing better nowadays than it did when the movies actually came out! I essence, movie sets still sell, show sets may fail. At most I could see them doing one wave each every year, as completely abandoning the movies is just too risky. -

According to @Lego_Minecraft_Goat, two of the sets are coming out in January, namely: 76967 (317 pcs, $25) 76969 (469 pcs, $45) Is there ANY ongoing licensed theme that doesn‘t get a January wave next year?! Craziness! -

Lots of minidoll sets in January (including Moana 2 sets), but according to @Lego_Minecraft_Goat, there‘s another „Classic“ set apart from the Lilo & Stitch house in March, namely 43262 (524 pcs, $65). Sounds promising! -
Latest news about Lego animal moulds
BrickBob Studpants replied to Roebuck's topic in Special LEGO Themes
My apologies for the ominous wording making the issue sound more interesting than it is Yeah, the issue is whether wolves should be allowed to roam free or be shot on sight. On the one hand, they butcher sheep without actually eating them afterwards, and on the other, they‘re rather rare and thus protected. They used to be extinct here for quite a while too, same as bears. The discussions get heated with some wanting to (illegally) kill all of them and making up silly fearmongering arguments (like them eating children next ) and others trying to protect them. Personally, I think mindless killing is never a good solution, but publicly stating something like that would already put me in hot water here- 5,865 replies

Right?! It happens so rarely Could be worse. They could have had sad eyebrows The Beastmaster could be the most controversial CMF ever released!! …where I live. Wolves are a super controversial taboo topic here to the point where I‘d never dare to talk about it with locals No wonder the LEGO wolf has angry eyebrows.- 5,865 replies

I have to say, „campfire showdown“ is a hilarious name for a set. Has there ever been an epic confrontation at a campfire in the history of fiction? Except for this of course. -

Changing the boxart isn‘t anything new. They did that for some Star Wars sets in 2008 and more recently for the original 3 Mario starter packs that didn‘t have the peculiarly-shaped boxes anymore. Oh, and with the new law in the US concerning button cells in toys, they also had to change the boxes for all the sets with light or sound bricks. And I‘m pretty sure there were several sets that received new boxart when Creator Expert was turned into Icons So yeah, the set will remain the same. Moreover, if they changed anything, the set would likely receive a new number. Granted, when the nameless pilot in the Resistance Bomber was replaced with Finch Dallow the set kept its number, but that was done to fix a mistake, so it‘s hardly comparable. -

Considering they referenced the 60’s Spidey meme in the Daily Bugle, this is very likely! The reveal will be kinda weird since it‘ll be the last of the survey leak sets. Probably ever, even. After all, I can‘t imagine them making such a colossal blunder again. With a survey I mean, there will undoubtedly be other blunders In a way, that‘s a good thing. As much as I enjoyed that leak (after my initial denial), the wait for some of these sets was excruciating. -

Another factor is the maintenance of the moulds. You can‘t just let them sit in a drawer for 10 years and immediately use them again. My guess is that they also consider how likely they‘re gonna reuse them in the long run. Some moulds are short-lived from the getgo (like the ones for all the specialised Trolls pieces) while others are very likely to return sooner or later. As others have pointed out, a new Jabba was always gonna get released at some point. Maybe they took special care of that mould, cleaning it daily to await its glorious comeback -

I‘m actually more surprised they ever made a minifig of hers in the first place, considering her grim fate! It‘s not often they make minifigs of characters who are most well known for their grizzly demises -

The best case under the premise of the rumoured 4 figures Of course there‘d be more ideally, but we knew early-on that there‘d be four. Within that restriction, this would be the best case, no? Three unique helmets and a cool astromech -

Also, the May D2C set is traditionally a vehicle. The only exception I can think of was Assault on Hoth in 2016 Oh? Still taking it with a grain of salt since that line-up is the best-case scenario, which doesn‘t happen too often -
