  1. Speed build & review of the B model is published as well:
  2. That space is more than enough for the cables, I did not have any issues yet with such setup.
  3. @Nebulaire red version for the praetorian guards? :) I have updated the instructions for the first 2 models as well, now there's a slideshow available besides the videos: http://racingbrick.com/1st-stormtrooper-lego-technic-motorcycle-building-instructions/ http://racingbrick.com/darth-vaders-lego-technic-motorcycle-building-instructions/
  4. And finally instructions published for the 2nd Stormtrooper bike as well, now in both video and photo gallery format: http://racingbrick.com/2nd-stormtrooper-lego-technic-motorcycle-building-instructions/
  5. Very detailed review as always I'm sure some trucker guys will show up in your comments section like they did with my review video and will tell you that the crane should be only operated when the trailer is connected to the truck, it significantly improves the loading capacity and the stability. That way a ~600g load can be lifted without any problem.
  6. I was waiting for something different.. not a big fan of the Chiron's design. We'll have to have some cool C models :)
  7. It could be done, with those bigger wall panels that are pretty light. It'd need a lower gearing probably - or a buggy motor and a BuWizz
  8. I like your moc, nice little Tumbler with very essential features like the big red button/coffee heater and the handcuff holder Video has a nice story as well
  9. @GT_8Ricks I want to finish the instructions for my 3rd Star Wars motorcycle this week, so the earliest is next week for the 42077 A model. It depends on a lot of things so I'd say 1-2 weeks probably.
  10. Thank you guys :) @I_Igor & @Aventador2004 since it uses a non-Lego piece (although it is Lego-branded ) it does not qualify for TC13. Maybe with a brick-built cover, but without steering it looses a lot of fun factor :)
  11. So it didn't take long - one of my videos was shared by oldlego.com on the FB page. I messaged them asking to take it down and told the guy that re-uploading YouTube videos with a simple text credit is not a good business behavior. The answer was not surprising and reflects perfectly the attitude: "obviously I will do it with extreme pleasure, if you do not understand the advantage it is not my fault. Goodbye" So he even thinks that he does a favor with this... amazing. He blocked my immediately and took the video down so there's not much I can do :/ I was naive to think that communication could solve anything, I should have filed the official copyright report instead.
  12. The Lego brick turned 60 years old, so I thought I need to celebrate it with a fun little Technic creation. Nomen est omen - I created a racing brick :) I wanted to have a brick built cover first but I quicky realised that I do not have enough system bricks of the same color to create the studs. Then I found my son's lunchbox, and things escalated quickly :) This was just a very quick build yesterday evening, nothing special inside - 2 geared up L motors driving the rear wheels through a differential, Servo for steering, V2 receiver and a rechargeable battery box. Wanted to stick to original Lego PF components this time :) It's a fun little ride, might refine it later on. This is how it looks like without the cover:
  13. That's called product development... there's always a next iteration of a product with something more or different to offer. Development cycle can be 1-2 years but can be months as well. DJI introduced the Spark drone only half a year ago, I bought it before Christmas. I never thought they will introduce the Mavic Air which is like a Spark 2.0, and it has the exact features I was missing from my Spark. Can I complain? Sure I can, but there's really no point...
  14. Based on my experience the 42077 A model is pretty sturdy, there's no problem with the construction. Not many features I agree, but the potential target audience (perfect example is my 10 year old son) thinks it looks super cool with all the stickers and he likes to play with it. The B model is nice as well when you build it (didn't like the look when I saw the photos first), and it's easy to motorize with just a few extra pieces.
  15. @JonathanM many thanks for checking it and for your feedback as well! It was an error indeed, I copied and then updated the content from one page to the other and forgot that the galleries have unique IDs so if I change it on one page it will be changed on the other one as well :) Recreated the galleries on the 2 L motor page, should be ok now. You're right, the target audience also includes inexperienced builders.
  16. Based on the ideas and feedback I decided to create an image sequence. The challenge was to organize the 200+ images per option in a way that they can be aligned to the original instructions so I don't have to reproduce all the steps which were unchanged. I wanted to set up a workflow that works for me and can be used for future RC mods with multiple options and still easier to use than my previous video instructions. If you have a moment I'd be glad to have some feedback on it: http://racingbrick.com/2018/01/lego-technic-42077-buggy-b-model-rc-mod-building-instructions/
  17. I created an RC mod for the B model. The aim was to use primarily the parts left from the A model and to provide multiple motor/power source/remote control options. Here is the video about it: There are 2 main different mods with options:Power Functions L motor mod:- driven by 2 Power Functions L motors- steering by Power Functions Servo motor- Battery options - AAA/rechargeable/AA battery box- Remote options - IR remote/SBrickextra parts needed (besides electrical components):1 Technic Gear 16 Tooth Reinforced (94925)3 Technic Gear 20 Tooth Double Bevel (18575)Buggy motor + BuWizz mod:- driven by 1 buggy motor- steering by Power Functions Servo motor- power & control by 1 BuWizz unitextra parts needed (besides electrical components):1 Technic Gear 20 Tooth Double Bevel (18575) Building instructions are available on my webpage: http://racingbrick.com/2018/01/lego-technic-42077-buggy-b-model-rc-mod-building-instructions/
  18. Good choice of cameras and a very lucky deal with that GoPro! Enjoy the equipment and show us the results :)
  19. Sariel said previously that he expects to receive the sets for review in January. All the videos online were made of sets purchased in a store (like my videos as well).
  20. Nice performance with this battery pack, and of course a cool mod! :)
  21. Very impressive build with tons of features, congratulations!
  22. Might be a "Boost light" unit without external connectors that can be used for future simple app controlled vehicles.
  23. I'd call it rather a simple coding error that came with the latest update. Previously you did not see the ludicrous option for BuWizz v1, and even if you select it on the config screen the option won't appear on the speed selector (correctly). I'm sure it will disappear for V1 with the next update.
