  1. Building instructions are available now for Vader's bike on Rebrickable: http://bit.ly/2hIUVeN
  2. Last year Sariel's first 2017 set review was published on dec 10th
  3. Just saw your images on Facebook @shimon and came here to see if anyone shared them already :) Very well done, nice replica of the trailer!
  4. Managed to take a photo on the meeting:
  5. But it's animated! Anyway, I see that the nose is longer, the rear wheels could be closer to the front, but still - it is not a scale model. I think the designers did a very good job, if someone doesn't like it then it's always easy to mod it :)
  6. Quick comparison with the real thing:
  7. More pics here of the 3 above: https://www.hothbricks.com/nouveautes-lego-technic-2018-visuels/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook
  8. There are some more (smaller) images on this page: https://www.brickfever.nl/6x6-all-terrain-sleepwagen-42070-17207/ I really like the set, both A and B models, very appealing mix with the system parts. No sign of PF on the box so far, I wonder if there'll be any preparation/instruction by Lego.
  9. Thanks guys, glad you like this one too :) I'll give it a try with the softer shocks when I take it outside again, as I recall I tested them during building but the ground clearance was not that good. @Didumos69 excellent idea, thank you very much! I tried to use the inner holes of the wishbones as well, but with a shorter link and an extended gear rack. That didn't work well as at the end of the suspension travel the links were pulling the wheel hubs already regardless of the gear rack's position. I'll definitely try your version, it's so simple and elegant! @Leonardo da Bricki a belly shot for you:
  10. I just saw it in a facebook post - 42074 spotted in a TRU already Can anyone in the USA confirm? Could not find anything online yet.
  11. Hi Guys! Baja 1000 starts today, so here's the new video :) This is the "mini version" of @agrof's buggy, you can see the size difference on this photo: The new version has smaller wheels, the body is 2 studs narrower and the overall length is proportionally shorter as well. Obviously some panels and structures had to be changed to match the new size. The track width did not change as I did not have the proper replacement parts for the steering, I’ll work on this later. The car feels quicker, although due to the smaller wheels some obstacles can be problematic. The color scheme is not the final one, I had to use what I found in my boxes :) I’ll work more on this car later as I really like the sturdiness and the performance. Some additional pictures:
  12. @Didumos69 Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a try! I'm not sure how it'll affect the car's performance as the heavier wheel might become slower but we'll see :)
  13. Thanks guys, I'm glad you like this mod :) @agrof I'm glad you like the performance, we'll need to find an opportunity for you to try the other one as well, worth it ;) @Didumos69 If you check the final scene, the car you see next to the red version is not the original one but another mod. It's a smaller scale version of the buggy, compare the wheels! Same motors, same power source, smaller size -> more fun :) I still have to put together the video of that car, I'll publish it next week. @technic_addict I also wanted to build the Deadly Nightshade, I still need a working RC unit though... hopefully I'll get one and I can compare the performance then. About the instructions, I put this on my todo list for the winter when I won't have the possibility to go outside with the cars :)
  14. I wanted to build something quick and durable to enjoy the last beautiful days of autumn outside, so the obvious choice was this great car. Many thanks to @agrof for the opportunity to see his original buggy and for the help making this video. A quick list of modifications: - L motors replaced with buggy motors - slower output is geared down for optimal performance - IR receivers replaced with SBricks (to be able to run on Lego battery boxes as well) - seats removed to accommodate the BuWizz units for optimal weight balance - front end reworked to be more stable (survive high speed crashes) - fine details removed - the lights and other pieces added much to the look of the original version but I kept loosing them so decided to remove most of it. Some additional images:
  15. @suffocation Did you try to connect/update with another device? I'd suggest to try with a friend's phone/tablet. Did you also get in touch with the BuWizz guys for advice?
  16. Very nice edit and a cool little pullback car! I'm glad I had the opportunity to check it out IRL :)
  17. @agrof it's rather the design language of Mad Max then the one of Pininfarina ;) I still had to be very strict with the Bionicle weapons as I had like 10 times more in the bucket :)
  18. I managed to find an old classified VHS tape of the Zombie hunter mod so I can show you the details :) Here are some additional pictures:
  19. Thanks guys :) @agrof I realized that the animation didn't show much of the crawler, so I'm making another short video of it right now :)
  20. The idea was to use my custom-built Lego Technic 41999 4×4 Crawler and a huge box of Lego Bionicle parts and have some Halloween fun :) There are 3 custom motorized functions on the crawler, the spinning front blades, the alternating side blades and the rear spinning swatter / mallet combination. There are 2 manual spring activated blades in the front as well. Hope you'll enjoy this little video, happy Halloween everyone! :)
  21. As I prefer the RC sets on the smaller side and I played a lot with my 42065 variations I have to say this little fellow is absolutely cool! Did you also try this config with the M motors? I wonder if the lighter motors could increase the speed even further. I hope you'll make a video of it soon :)
  22. According to the authentic source this is an "articulated flatbed truck", like this one:
  23. ...and it's obviously missing a crane!
  24. That creation blew my mind, very impressive! Reminds me a lot of the Pixar lamp (you only need to make it jump now ) Congratulations!
