  1. Well, I've come back to Technic, but I need to get a set toadd some good pieces. Criteria: I can only spend up to $200 Canadian Dollar$ It need some nice wheels I don't mind buying from brucklink/Amazon/eBay, etc I'm wanting pnuematics, LAs, differential(s), frames, PF isn't required. Thanks for your future suggestions!
  2. Just gonna chime in, and say I've got the same problem. Same here, but we do have friendly staff.
  3. One word; Beautiful! P.S. Emojis don't count as words.
  4. Here in my part 'O the world, we've been seeing lots of rain, and cloudy days since before July, today was the first day that was hot, I had to go out for a bit, (without checking the weather forecast) dressed for another cloudy day, and got quite hot in my dark jeans, and black t-shirt.
  5. I'm wanting to make 2D/3D games in Unity, so I'm trying to learn C#.
  6. This looks amazing! I tried making a 6 wheeled log skidder with Midstorms NXT, but do to lack of parts, the frame design, and coloring suffered greatly, not to mention the teeny wheels.
  7. So from one I can gather, the new "Ultimate" Porsche is not considered that good by It's real target audience?
  8. Yep, I'm a computer gurr you could say, but I started out with PCs for dummies.
  9. No, it isn't the same thing, try a VM and see if it works.
  10. Really good looking MOC , your use of the panels for the wheel well looks good, and the pop-out headlights, just, wow!
  11. Also, what about a windows XP/98/etc. VM with your serial port passed through to it (I use VirtualBox, It's free, and works well).
  12. Then I'll be waiting quite awhile, ;) so I'm waiting on a person who has quite a bit of lego, if he don't have any, then I'll use bricklink.
  13. The only custom electronics I might use would be perhaps an SBrick, and custom converter cables to hook up PF to Mindstorms [NXT].
  14. Mine would be my first (and last, until I get some proper wheels) attempt at making a supercar-like MOC, it looks pretty good for the parts I had, but the gears for steering skipped to easily, and I used a worm gear for the drive, as I could only fit a worm gear in the sport I had, but I didn't brace it properly, causing it to slide backward on the axle if you tried to drive it forward. 15. I don't actually have the ultrasonic sensor hooked up, It's just to help people identify the scale of the model, and as for wieht, I don't know, and I've already taken it apart, it isn't that heavy though, and one could easily put the ultrasonic sensor in, say, the cabin.
  16. It sure does, it moves around quite well, I have a 1:1.667 gear ratio for the drive.

Yes, it performs quite well, a couple of kinks, but a absolutely perfect MOC is impossible, I really like how this turned out, a really nice looking color scheme
  18. Wow! just WOW! That is an amazing replica, and not a stud in sight, too bad we don't have like buttons, so I'll give you this.
  19. Is it time for another offroad truck, or a full suspension grader? Decisions, decisions..

Don't hold your breath for even a WIP topic, I seriously need to finish sorting all the LEGO (Technic) I got, and have a usable work space, and eah, something new should be good. :)

  20. Hello, here is my first [good looking] MOC using the new parts I got about a week ago. It features: All wheel suspension, front suspension that is sorta pendular, yet it could be independant (you guys can figure it out, I can't ), and back wheel supension using one spring (thanks to the guys who posted in my suspension topic ), 2 NXT motors, one for drive, and the other for steering. A good amount of ground clearance. Now, I said It's modular, In my pics it's in a european semi truck style, however, one could take the fifth wheel hitch off, and put on a dumping box, a tow truck arm, whatever you want! Now, on to the pictures. More pics can be found here http://bricksafe.com/pages/XtremeBuilder/m.o.r.t.-modular-offroad-truck
  21. It's a good start, but you should get some more pieces and see where you go. I got a whole bunch of pieces and now my MOCs can be how I want them to be, not my bin (well, still need a few more specialty parts ).
  22. Off road semi, here I, er, you come. :)

  23. The number one question on everyone's minds: Is it swooshable?
  24. The only problem is I only have one of the flexible axles.
