  1. I've received my copy of this now, the parts look so awesome! Once I've finished the A model, I'm thinking of making a C model that looks like the 8868 Air Tech Claw Rig.
  2. This thing looks great, very clean looking MOC. Keep up the good work.
  3. Yup, the elves at TLCB just aren't reliable enough. Seriously though, It is your decision, but will you regret it if you DON'T do it? That is what I think when I want to buy something, will I regret NOT buying it?
  4. What can I say tat hasn't been said? Nothing! So I'll let the quoted post sum it up for me.
  5. I agree, this looks like a great MOC on It's own, and the fact that you incorporated Mindstorms is just. P.S. Source is me owning an NXT set for MOCs.
  6. Wow, nice job at packing those functions in! How long would you say it took for you to build it (Building + designing time)?
  7. I can see it, you tried a different browser?
  8. I don't know if anyone has brought it up, but how does the Merc compare to 8868 air tech claw rig?
  9. Nice car, RC is nice, I agree, outside IR range is A LEGO solution is use Mindstorms NXT/EV3 with a remote app on your smartphone (Bluetooth to the rescue)! Yes, I do use this solution, and yes, the motor size makes small models a no-go.
  10. What are you thinking of? I was thinking for mine either: 1: Snow Groomer 2: Snow Groomer like design arctic off-road vehicle 3: Excavator with grasping claw (kinda like a larger 42006) 4: Tree Feller Excavator 5: Scorpion King Tracked log cutter.
  11. Looks nice IMHO, your mods to the semi & trailer look nice too. P.S. Get well soon, drink your noodle soup!
  12. OK, no need for a Costco membership/card actually.
  13. OK, who is paying for my copy of 42009, 8110 9398, Air Tech claw rig, 8880...? Question: Anyone found a C model for 42055 BWE yet, I haven't seen any, even though it is just a parts pack in a box basically. P.S. I would buy classic sets, but the PPP compared to sets nowaday is crazy + I like studless building P.P.S. No flame war please.
  14. Good music at, low fidelity! :cry_sad:

Sorry, fellow TFOL + Audiophile here, good + low = lie.

OK, ":fun" aside, happy new years! :classic:

  15. Happy New (LEGO Technic buying) Years!
  16. OK, thanks for answering, happy (early) new years!
  17. I'm having some trouble with the Technic forum lately. Old reviews appear to be cutoff, this one for example: Also the 8110 Unimog, and 8436 crane truck, and probably others too. I did read the 8436 review a few months ago (read before the forum upgrade), not the others though as far I remember. I think it might have to do with the forum upgrade, but I don't know, anyone else having the same issue?
  18. Your review is wonderful to look at Jim, I'm glad already spent my "LEGO" money, otherwise I might've bought this. I, the English Nazi shall strike again. This: Should be this: The "of" in " Two of half pins" is not needed. A late Merry Christmas, and an early happy new years!
  19. OK, I guess that TIL something new/old.
  20. Didn't LEGO make some Mercedes-Benz Unimogs with technic before the 2000s?

  22. Boy, you guys are lucky, reaching out $225 to get the 42043 was steep for me, so don't grumble 'bout not getting Technic. Merry Christmas, and happy (early) new years!
  23. My Brother's BWE should be here by Dec 28th at the latest, though I've got to wait till about mid-January to get my Mercedes-Benz Arocs.
  24. They don't have much of a selection, but the prices are pretty good, just remember you need a Costco membership, which costs $50 CAD.
