  1. First pics! Beware, I'm new to these new pieces, I've only touched my Mindstorms NXT 2.0 previously, so give constructive criticism. So I'm working on the back end & gear changer Full Bricksafe gallery where all pics are, and future ones will go: Click here for more pics! Excuse the quality, these weren't taken with my real camera, they were taken from my Galaxy S3.
  2. OK, I've decided on a 4 axle (1 steered, 3 on back) rotator Tow Truck, @Jim would you please change the topic title to "[WIP] 42043 MB Arocs C Model - European Style Heavy Duty Rotator" (without the quotes of course).
  3. I've seen those c Model, and think they are cool, but I listed those machines anyway because they can be done so many ways. Like this Rotator Giant, maybe even make it a European style cab Mobile cranes are a bit un-unique though, I'll admit. I'm thinking right now Either Telehandler, or 4 axle rotator tow truck.
  4. Hi, so I got the MB Arocs 42043 in January, and have been loving it! But now I want to make a C model. Previous attempts have failed due to my now apparent lack of skill at making well proportioned frames. But now I want to try one thing, and stick to it, right now I need to figure out what machine to do as a C model. I've decided on a 4 axle (including steering) heavy duty rotator tow truck Ideas were: Pics will be posted sometimes tomorrow.
  5. Since it has been guessed what this is, will you post pics of the model with the fake engine?
  6. Light sabre... Looks transparent to me.
  7. I've been Ninja'ed! Seriously, I did this with a turntable, didn't notice till it was too late, thank the Lord for sewing needles.
  8. Yeah, I know right? Only thing remotely interesting is the giant tow truck, which still looks "meh" (colors are fine IMO). The colors on that arctic, "thing" OTOH....
  9. I noticed that we've got a new theme now, what do you guys think of it? I personally prefer the old one (Sorry Jim).
  10. The racing mower reminds me of a close friend, he loves to take ride on mowers and make them into offroading machines, he calls them his brand of ATVs.
  11. I don't see it, probably because Rebrickable is upgrading to V3, and so it is in read-only mode.
  12. I think LXF should be dis-qualified for our/his own good.
  13. Battleships? Battle vehicles (including fantasy ofc )? I'm really wanting to be able to compete in the next TC (TC 11 right)?
  14. Hi, thanks! Differential is proffered, but I don't need it, thanks.
  15. including Just to clarify, it needs to be 19/17 studs wide including wheels.
  16. Hi. I'm working on a Unimog U400/4000 C Model for The MB Arocs 42043 Now, I need some help with the front axle It needs to be 19/17 Studs wide (including the 3 stud wide wheels that come with 42043), I'm wondering if there are any axles that can fit steering, power, suspension, and homeade portals axles in 19/17 studs? I've come up on my own with either a 19 stud powered, steered, suspended axle, without port axle, or a 19 stud non-powered, steered axle with portal axle.
  17. Very nice 'Mog I don't think it is ugly TBH.
  18. Link to seller for future purchases please?
  19. Where in the world did you manage that?
  20. You've inspired me (+ my fail at making a pickup truck ) To try to make a Unimog U400/U4000
  21. Thanks, that worked prefectly, and thanks to you too @Paul Boratko.
  22. I'm making a C model of 42043 MB Arocs 3245, and it would look so much cooler with a V6, but I can't seem to figure out how to make a stable V6 without the bracket pieces that go at either end ov the V fake engines in Lego models/MOCs. Any pictures/idea are appreciated.
  23. Finished it yesterday. My thoughts: The build process felt more interesting than the BWE, I got to see some cool mekanisms; instead of building intricate framwork 2/4 times over. The pneumatics: So. fun! You just need to be gentle to get pretty precise movement. C Model thoughts: Dually Pickup truck with some sort of 4 wheeled trailer Remembrance model of the Air Tech Claw Rig 8868 Wheeled excavator Backhoe? Definitely worth it for $125! Other: I purchased it used from Rossibrick on Bricklink, shipping was quite fast, and parts were in great shape, I'd buy from her again for sets for sure!
