  1. Only PF IR, and Sbrick is allowed, so no Mindstorms or the like.
  2. Sorry, I think I'm mis-understanding you is all. You said And I had previously said that I only have mindstorms, so I thought you meant Mindstorms was allowed in the raffle, sorry. P.S. I did read the info topic.
  3. Raffle!, so I can still join some sort of contest, prepare for NeXT Gen Gargantuan! Please not that I am not responsible for any and all damages caused by incorrect viewing of this sentence, scale may affect the size of the NeXT Gen Gargantuan, all rights reserved.
  4. OK, just wondering if it was an oversight, oh well, guess I'll vote for this contest, and hopefully play in the next one.
  5. I thin It's the "smash your oppenetnts to pieces" kind of battle bot.
  6. Nice looking C+ model (C Model almost. ), so is it a souped up van? I find that the motors go slower in reverse, adding gears would maginify that.
  7. @Milan Are Mindstorms allowed (used RC via an app with bluetooth)?
  8. L = Studs usually, and makes sense for a LEGO Competition.
  9. Can I use a LEGO Mindstorms set being remote controlled via an app (I can get a specific link}, as they would be great for this (and I have no S Brick/PF IR. xD), it would basically be a bulky sbrick.
  10. Guess my Battle bots guess was correct.
  11. Sorry Jim, we are just doing comparisons, no pneumatics are superior stuff, just comparing some sets for the OP. :)
  12. Edit: content removed by Jim 42043 Pros (I have it) Great mix of parts, 2 diffs, 1 LA, 4 pneumatic cylinders, 1 pump, L motor, MB logo. :P I have 42043, and you get 4 cylinders, while most set with LAs have 3 max. My friend has 42055, good bulk parts set, not so good if you want some specific/special parts
  13. OK, I'm gonna give you the simple way to tell. Regular tow truck: Outriggers point behind the tow truck to balance it. Rotator: Outriggers go out to each side, to keep the rotator stable when the boom is, well, rotated.
  14. Woah, this looks looks pretty touch, and even a door latch mechanism, can't wait to see the final product. :)
  15. Just use bricklink, I got my MB arocs (used, but in like new condition, missing box and extra parts) for $225 including shipping & handling, while the new thing sells for $270, I can get a link for the specific seller if you want, it shipped pretty fast too. :)
  16. I thought it didn't look like one, BTW that LEGO tow truck looks awesome! :)
  17. Cool! By the way, this is kinda me doing a cherry pic MOC, and I'm seeing it could very well be used as a crane just as well as a tow truck.
  18. That looks pretty cool, I'm making a rotator tow truck though. :) As for progress. All motor powered functions are done (pump, winch, outriggers, & boom slewing). Steering system almost done back part of chassis almost finished Boom almost finished To do: Cabin setup pnuematics Pics will come later today
  19. Wow, I've always liked this certain type of machine, give me ideas of my own.... Anyway, to the person to the person who suggested using LAs to be able to enter in TC10, TC10 said LAs weren't allowed. :(
  20. Hey guys, whenever this happens, I just click on the next page I want to read, then press F5 to refresh, and the next page loads (yup, most mobilw uawe have to manually press refresh ).
  21. Gonna go on a very short vacation, be back talking to you guys (and working on the Rotator) next Sunday, or Monday. :)

  22. They do seal nicely though, and with one on the other side, the air has nowhere to get in (my theory).
  23. OK, I'm gonna be on a short vacation starting in 10 minutes from now, I'll be back sometime next Sunday (the 10th),and I'm not gonna be taking my 2700+ LEGO Technic set with me, so no more progress till next Sunday/Monday.
  24. Thanks for the tip, I've been starting to realize that I'm going to have to plan this out a bit more thoroughly.
  25. Driving ring changers will be placed vertically. The crane arm is still gonna be awhile, as I need a finished body first Outrigger extension is motorized, turntable slewing rotating will probably be motorized, as for the crane arm, lifting and extension will be pneumatic. Thanks, didn't know that I could sit the title myself. You are right; the back was a bit low, I've highered it a bit now.
