  1. Neat! I don't know if this will work for my VIXIA HFR700 or my DSLR though.... How does it handle the bumps and such? is there much camera (Ipad) shake? I made a similar (Though grounded- unmovable) device, back when I was using my Ipad Pro. Could this design work for larger or smaller devices as well?
  2. That looks good! does the front axle collide with the servo when the suspension is depressed? I would also try to support the differential outputs on the rear axle a bit more. Myers

  4. It could be useful to even put an 'MOC' tag in front the title, or a small change like that so members could discern between the two.

  6. 1:5.9 !?! Thats going to take a minimum of 8000+ paces. Look at Sheepo's Bugatti or Porsche, they are only a 1:8 scale. I hope you have a big collection...

  10. @BusterHaus..... I am confused- when did state that I am against discussion? A civilized discussion would not take place with the edgy bark of attitude I see so clearly in your past post. I am fine with having a discussion about my opinion, but not immediate comebacks to defend a build's reputation by those with over-inflated opinions of it. I state this not with attitude, but with thought- why immediately defend a build with already cited arguments and facts, combined with blatant statements of the obvious to minimize an opponent reputation and credibility? This isn't necessary... why not maturely state a recognition of his opinion and then your own opinion thereafter, combined with a discussion of the past opinions point, not an attack at it. Please take these points to mind at your impending comment...
  11. I completely understood the purpose of the "Rugged" tag. A STATED in my previous post I was simply sharing my opinion, and I am not a fan of a primarily lift arm body. this does not need an immediate retort in defense. Not everyone will share the same opinion as you, @BusterHaus, and I was just sharing one of the rare negative opinions of this build, which is perfectly acceptable.
  12. Hmmmm..... I can't say I'm a fan. I miss wheel arches and the front end just seems a bit off....I think that the hood could have been made better with more curves (you seemed to be able to do this on the rest of the body...) instead of being completely flat. I have never been a fan of primarily lift arm bodies...but as the title states you were going for "rugged" and that's what you got! There're is some nice functions, but my favourite part has to be the size of the seats to the size of the model- they are just right. I am assuming the gaping holes are by design, but I would certainly not one who would drive this car in the rain! Your suspension looks quite robust, and the fake brake Calipers look quite robust. It is nice to see this project finished. To those hard core Dudumos fans, this is my own two-bits, and does not need an immediate attack in defence, as I have seen in other topics. I apologize if this may seem offensive, I am just taking a different point of view.

Update! -Added much more bodywork -Redid much of the rear suspension -Improved existing bodywork in stability and aesthetic properties -Raised the chassis and lowered the axles to make room for the CLAAS TIRES! -Beginnings of the front end (Light mounts, jeep style grill, HIGHLY detailed fake fake engine) (An outdoor pic) (My favorite pic of the Buggy so far) As always, advice, comments, and constructive criticism are much appreciated!   18. Interesting! I am not a huge fan of too many lift-arms in body works, but it is okay in yours. I like the axle design, but you could work a bit on your photography, as IMO having part of the model blurred looks a bit strange. Ideally, all of the model would be in focus and the background would be blurred, but this is difficult to do and I know I have trouble with it. good work overall, for a 14 hour project. -Myers Lego Technic
  19. Mária, Isten anyja, I didn't realize how varied all our backgrounds are! it is fascinating where we all come form emotionally. Understandably, I have no trouble with alcohol (My age is sadly no secret) but I understand the feeling of needing to distance yourselves with familiarity. I recently took up homeschooling- I am alone 10 hours a day five days a week, and do not interact with anyone my age.While this isn't as drastic as moving to a new country, it is of similar idea. After a disastrous early high school career I took up this new journey, and am finding it refreshing. I hope all of you find your own journeys able to bring you back home in good health.   20. Great Build! I love the body work but I think the chassis could use some horizontal stabilizing. I recognize the wheel arches out of the Hennessy- interesting how you brought that over to this model.
  21. because of the way you have set up your axle, if there is significant force to stop the tires from moving the rotational movement of the tires will transfer to a sideways movement as the bevel gear will be treated as a gear rack, in essence. A differential would solve this, or a cross bar from the axle to the chassis would help negate.
