  1. Nice build. I really like the SNOT technique used here, especially at the bow and the railing near the helm.
  2. Seeing the use of unusual techniques, this is remarkable.
  3. It almost look like they're transforming from one to the other. Nice work.
  4. All hail the Parrot! Well made.
  5. Blacktron can be at ease. A laser will still... Wait, where did it go?
  6. I'm trying to build the wreck sections with stock parts and the Brick Bounty set. Works quite well sofar.
  7. In any case, congrats. I'm about to start on the set now, it arrived this afternoon.
  8. You already finished building it? That's quick.
  9. Checks the date. Yes, April's Fool is past us. ;) Nice change on this old set. Someone needs to bulldoze all those rocks and regolith away to create all the awesome bases, launch platforms and whatnot.
  10. Something fancy: a small pirate head raising a cutlass on one side, and "ARRR" appearing on the other side. Should do for bringing over "hurrah".
  11. I wish! It would mean delivery should be quite easy for me. But no, my order is still in the warehouse too. In any case, I ordered in the wee hours of the 1st, and then there was no backlog note on the order. Late afternoon the backlog was already up to April 6 on the Lego site. I've started building the forecastle with the bricks available at home. There's already two pieces (4x6 wedge plates) which are not widely available yet, not to mention recolors of old pieces (8x8 grille plate in dark tan).
  12. I like the tan 'toppings' version better, but at my end I'd have to make do with the reddish brown hull parts. Nice sails there. I wonder which part you used for connecting them to the ra's? Oh, and that flag is tremendous!
  13. I'd change the black parts to brown. And to my eye the yellow and blue colored parts clash as well. Maybe red instead of yellow? You mean to say you have those eight custom-made cannons there tucked in with the galley -and sleeping quarters furniture? Quite a feat!
  14. I'd say use them as buildings along the periferie of your town. Or a separate suburb. There are a few lower modular buildings as well (detective's office for example). You could use that as a transition. And as a last resort, remove a floor from buildings who might do without one, like the Brick Bank modular.
  15. Handcuffs have never seen a better use. And an original use of that planet sphere.
  16. A true word... but it does make for less drama.
  17. Ah, the glossiness of the render took me off. Thanks for sharing the piece description.
  18. I was one of the lucky thousands to see it in the real. 'No touching' rules on such events what they are, I'm happy to see detail photos of your great display. For example I definitely didn't remember the peeing guy and the happy couple.
  19. Nice color scheme. And I see the building is ready for the future too (solar panels). The ground floor tiles together with this playbox in the middle of the shop reminds me of a Roman atrium. Love the way you put in the terras. It breaks the straight lines without looking out of place. What element did you use for the roof of the terras entrance? I don't recognize it.
  20. Looks very authentiek, not to mention sturdy to bear the rigors of a siege. Thanks!
  21. Quite tranquil. What else you asked? Oh, perhaps a coconut or so.
  22. Oh my, that's incredible. And nicely detailed with those hints of reef/rock.
  23. If you mean the Easter Egg, probably they ran out of gifts before you ordered. They ran out in my country at the last day of double points.
