    No Lanista? Just kiddin'. Great build. Both sides of the pit walls have something goin' for them, with the shops on the outer walls.

    That MOC was a premium design, meaning customers of Versteinert paid good money to him to obtain the instructions.

    My mistake. What I thought was the top part of a shield (underneath the minifig arm that holds a sword) looks at second glance a piece attached to the bowsprite.

    It kinda looks like there are 3 shields in the set. On the aft deck, it bothers me the 'deck railing' doesn't start with a 1x2 crenallation. Something I will tinker with if I manage to get the set.

    Its still here on PAB in Europe... Regarding the Sea Serpent GWP minifigs, did nobody think LEGO might use the Black Serpent knight torso&legs for the crew? Its black, has an anonymous print, and the print of the upper part of the torso looks kinda sinister with the scale-like outlook.

    Ah, thanks. Not so elegant a solution as I had hoped. I guess I'll be looking into a way to kind of let the train tracks look like a monorail setup.

    Looks a bit excessive front-and-stern, but beautifully done. I especially like the way you incorporated those curved pieces on the ship's sides and captain's cabin, not to mention putting the shooting guns on the main deck. Dramatically increases the playability. And that pirate hat is ingenious!

    Been upvoting for this one since it first came out in (I believe) Series 8. Finally there! Chunky to be sure, and perhaps a bit too much Star Wars like with the center 'wagon', but I find it quite promising. By the way, does anyone have an idea what element is used for the monorail? I reckon its a technic quarter-rounded piece, but I can't for the life of me find it.

    That's a sizable width you made for this deck. Are those old grey legs (5th picture) on the ship's sides?

    A robust build. The only thing that seems to be missing is the helmyard entering the stern?

    By the way, is it a six-sided tower, or is the back wall longer then the front wall?

    Nicely done. I wonder if those 1x1 slopes with cheese printing on them would work as stubble.

    On of the droid arm grips is connected as intended to the handle part of that 1x1 round modified plate, so I don't see a problem.

    1L Pin connector, with the bottom of a 1x1 round brick attached, with the round brick bottom pointing outwards? You'd still have the texture (though a bit wider barrel) from the bottom of the round brick. And the total length should be roughly the same, and can be lenghtened by a 1x1 round plate on the other side of the pin connector if necessary. Still much to do... Bredene?

    Very grand & imposing. A tribute to RL medieval construction techniques. Its inhabitants surely need a good physique to deal with the steepness of their home. I'm impressed with the landscaping and rockwork too. A good balance of colors, and shading of the cliffs with the inclusion of old dark gray. Did you start with a plate layer of light bluish gray on the foot of the cliffs? Or is it the reflection of the trans-blue tiles on the water that gives this 'softer' effect on the waterline? And the bows of the flying buttresses, did you insert it at an angle to the 'chapel' walls and supports?
