  1. Mine was delivered yesterday at the pickup point. Preparing to collect it as we speak.
  2. Interesting tidbit, it costed about as much as Ninjago City when the set was released. Yeah, I'll have to think hard on purchasing a normal-sized closet (with clear panels of course).
  3. I can't help but thinking that de Lego designer of Medieval Blacksmith had a certain MOCer as assistant. The style is so remniscent of this Ideas set. Beautifully done!
  4. You're right. But up to the moment the final vote comes up, we don't know which the three choices are.
  5. At the very least another add-on should come out when the Ninjago theme hits 15 year. Hopefully sooner of course. Finished my set too last night. Now I can enjoy the view of them stacked.
  6. Oh, and "on the Governor's brick" should be "On the Governor's brig". It's a type of ship, not a brick (stone).
  7. Oh, that's a nicely build up galleon. I like the attached plates for the extra volume it gives. You could attach a sort of walkspace to it for the sailors to rig the jib.
  8. Let's wait for the vote on the final three contenders, shall we?
  9. Ah? Is the February 1 release for VIP's then? I thought it was for every customer at that date?
  10. In my country, usually 6 months to a year after release on the Lego Store.
  11. What an intriguing world. Communication devices grow out of terrariums there? Well done!
  12. I wonder if some statistics will be shown as how many of those 58000+ voters registered in the last week. I sampled a couple who show basic avatars, and they were all registered three days ago, with no other activity then this poll connected to their profile.
  13. Technically, I work for a 'family-owned company' as well. But it is in the top-3 of (private/semi-private) companies with the most employees in my country. And in Belgium alone they employ roughly twice the number of employees as Lego does worldwide.
  14. Borders are closed for non-essential tourism -and recreational traveling, not for products. A truck full of Lego merchandize shouldn't present a problem, and neither would the channel crossing of the truck driver since he's doing an essential job. I reckon delays in merchant traffic is due to Brexit. Customs checks and such. Could be there's a legal battle behind doors as whether there need to be additional fees paid or not. Or simply lack of manpower to clear things.
  15. That would indeed have been a better choice. A variation of the Wolfpack attire in this CMF. But, if rumours are true, and we indeed get a 3-in-1 medieval build next Summer, we might get a new medieval garb torso as well. The pirates got one in last year's 3-in-1's pirate ship.
  16. Orc steampunk? "Lovely" is of course not a word to use with this subject, so I'll label it a stern build. A good balance between greebling and straight construction, but the things that strike me the most are the diagonal colored walls of the shed, and the launch scaffold.
  17. The buildings are assymetrical, so a bit hard to tell. I only finished the old world part. In any case, the outer straight wall for 3 of the buildings is 11 studs long, the inner 10. Then the angled section of each building starts to add to the overall length with brackets on the inner wall and add-on SNOT construction on the outer. The buildings are all 8 studs wide. For those worrying about the solitude of the Ninja fan, Christina has a way out of her room. Its small wonder she's a fan of the Ninja's though, she really needs to Legoport back in her room. ;)
  18. Oh help. That's like complaining a grandmother walks around in jeans while still wearing the jewelry of her youth. I can't even imagine all people back in medieval times only wore complete outfits from the same decade. Jewelry and clothing can stay in the same family or group, even if only as hereditary stuff, to be worn at special occasions.
  19. My copy of the set seemed to have come from a depot in a community called Puurs, Belgium. Now, I don't know if this depot is of the courier, or from Lego.
  20. This set will find a place in my home for sure. Kind of look forward adjusting the Medieval Market set buildings to the standard shown here. On different pricing/country, I always thought it was related to the size of the market in countries. Though sometimes a set has a flat price throughout countries using the same currency.
  21. Now that was positively weird. Never received a confirmation mail from Lego on my order of the Gardens, but last night things got moving and it was delivered this afternoon. Just collected the box from my pickup point. So, one happy ninja here, let the building begin...
  22. Nope. There's an old-fashioned ladder in the alley leading up to a small platform enabling access to both the tearoom and the bedroom.
  23. I will have to make some hard choices here... So much choice!
  24. Darn, you were just ahead of me. ;)
  25. So hilarious! And a good surprise for your partner.
