  1. Excellent scenery and photography again! Damn, Roland got really close to him
  2. Pretzel Girl! Because why not riding the clichee-train And she is really cute too. That helps!
  3. Now this is a really neat build. On first glance it doesn't even look like Lego Wonderful shaping and really neat details. This is close to perfection
  4. Oh, thats alright. No offense taken I think chances are pretty good. Its an event in a scale hardly comparable to what we see today. It was broadcasted late at night in Europe and still it had a massive audience, so yeah: I can see a lot of older people buying them for their "grandchildren", or at least buy a couple and keep one for themselves
  5. Not only your country, I bet The landing on the Moon was an event the whole planet followed on the TV screens, so I think it going to be really hugely popular amongst AFOLs.
  6. Wow! First to vote! I'm glad the Gourmet Chef won it. This round is more tricky for me. There isn't really one standing out in my opinion. So it became the Tomahawk Warrior, because of the haircut and facepaint
  7. Its a good start The battlements look really good and give it a nicely imposing look. I like the idea of using older, yellowed bricks too. I did that as well for a couple of builds and it gives them a nicely weathered appearance. Maybe add some snot-elements as well and put some modern light and dark greys in the mix too, to give the wall more structure. As for the marketplace: try adding elements like barrels and crates for the stalls. Things like that should not cost a fortune on bricklink and add a lot of atmosphere. Also make some weapon-racks for displaying, and add some flags as decorative elements to colour it up a little. Medieval-style advertisement! I'm looking forward to see your further progress!
  8. This could be the start of a wonderful political comment. But better not
  9. The Gourmet Chef makes me just happy when I see her. For me, she wins this round by miles! Holding pastries certainly helps as well
  10. Looking at the mainstream media coverage of the Saturn V, I think TLG goes for a far larger scale than for the Assembly Square set, which is very popular amongst the AFOL community, but didn't got any media attention beyond Lego-centered sites afaik. So my bet is that the Saturn V will show up at a lot of places.
  11. Looking good! Its quite an action shot, which is helped by the submarine being quite a wild construction.
  12. You have some really good ideas with your shopping center. The inside-area and the stores look happy and cosy and the colours fit well together. Makes me want to shop there by myself The lighting of the pictures could be better and I recommend using a tripod and no flashlight, but some spotlight instead. I know that a large build is hard to photograph properly and do the lighting evenly.
  13. Really impressive. I like how the buildings blend in with the (really gorgeous) vegetation. Beautiful work. Swamps can hardly look more scenic
  14. I can only urge every buyer to talk to the actual seller instead of asking here. The seller might have a busy week, not have everything in store anymore or whatever else only the seller really knows. It also helps to look at the TOS and reviews of the store before placing an order.
  15. Scientist for me! The highway man is too hyped and I'm not a fan of people in suits either
  16. The story of mine: I like Blacktron
  17. I have the feeling it's going to be a very successful set indeed. It looks impressive, especially size-wise, speaks to many people and comes at a really temping price-point. TLG did a lot right here.
  18. Not every Batman is a good Batman. Go Clown! The Weltschmerz of our existence is in your tears!
  19. A lot of lovable minifigs in this round. There isn't one I would give a miss really, but it makes picking favourites not easier In the end I went for the Thespian. Shakespeare needs someone to work with after all
