crew of the Crimson Corsair left to right: Arn Korsaway, Belinda Buss, Lazzy the monkey, cannoneer Cal, Captain Ironhook, Cook, Skallywag, Swashbuckler, and Cecelia. -
Wonderful ship! I absolutely love the shaping on the hull and the stern, and the brick built sails are a masterclass. brilliant work!

with ink in the ink well. Some more of the piano construction. ‘So admiral this is exactly like the cannon beds on the original flagship. But uh… where do we sleep?” luckily the admiral had supplied blankets and pillows that fit nicely over the cannon racks.

Thank you! I had seen the small clear pyramids in an architecture build my wife was doing and luckily there was a spare or two! You know I took these pictures just before I went to bed last night and was thinking a black stud in the ink well would look good, you read my mind. I can’t take credit for the entire piano build; a lot of it is taken purely from the original but I did change it up a lot in the way it’s built; I’ll take some deconstructed pictures later if anyone would like to see the process. Very simple and very few pieces. I just wanted to make sure it had the gold; white; black; brown and dark blue colour scheme that I want to follow through the entire build.

As I begin work on an reimagined “imperial flagship”, iv remodelled a little of the admirals cabin furniture. Hope you all like!

Finally got around to assembling this, needed an at home copy, made sure to reference your design on Flickr, thank you again OKY.

A small throw together for denizens of spooky pirate island… Scaring away soldiers! So the admiral recommissioned the imperial flagship… -
This is absolutely brilliant! So impressive in every aspect!!
-
The deeper venting does look very good!
-
These are incredible.
-
Might not be to everyone’s taste as it’s a bit cartoonish, but this is my work around for deck plates. These will fit the 8x8 cut outs on the barracuda also.
-
I had a some spare time and bricks and decided to throw together a slightly more modern take on set 6232. Good you like, comments and criticisms welcome!
-
I totally agree with this. I saw imperial flagship once in store, and would 100% have bought it if it was more widely available here. From my understanding most pirate sets have sold very well, be the creator ship has sold very well also. But it’s ok, give us more pirate playgrounds and spooky pirate islands with literally no new parts and recycled prints, because that’s what fans want.
-
Tbh I don’t see an issue with someone wanting feedback on the quality of hull pieces that are no longer available or cost $100 a part on the secondary market, purely for the sin of getting into the hobby at the wrong time.
-
Rebuilding this at home after the competition. I absolutely adore this build, it’s truely the most “pirates” set from all the builds we saw.

Yeah I hate that set, but I can see the apepeal of those parts for sure! The vin deisel minifigure has warm tan, arms and head.
-
Maybe as gloves in some minis or cmfs? I think the pottery lady in the second last series had dark tan hands.
-
Probably bricklink codes. Use bricklink, much much cheaper.
-
I think it is a new print, got some serious 1492 vibes from this set after seeing the back angle.
-
I just saw! This set has actually grown on me a bit. The tower build isn’t horrible and I quite like the face print, will try and get my hands on this!
-
i wonder when the offical image release is coming, I really wanna see the back of the set.
-
Absolutely heresy. Classic pirates 100% need to be yellows.
-
Haha iv been pretty fortunate, just make sure not to “lever” the arm against the socket. Fortune favours the brave.
-
I’d swap the arms for white to give a brown vest effect and fix the leg colour to single colour, and perfect!
